Just ask the team BONFIRE NIGHT 06/11/17This is a massive event where we will be pulling out all the stops with a huge bonfire and firework display. just ask for details, we will be happy to chat about it.

    On arrival our initial thoughts were to cancel and walk away due to the noise levels from the music in the garden (a summer bbq with loud music ). Once we were directed to our table, we were protected from the noise. Food was ok and service was a little slow but we appreciate they were very busy.

    Love going to The Black Swan, especially when the weather is as lovely as it was. Great selection of wine and cocktails. My only small gripe was that service was slow when it came to drinks, we probably were waiting 20-25mins in between each order. Other than that, we wouldn't hesitate to return again.

    A lovely gastropub with a family and dog friendly feel. The staff are keen to please and seem genuinely engaged in the role - something that so often is missing in restaurants and pubs these days. The food was of a very high standard. Drink service was slightly slow but it was a busy and hot weekend so to be expected.

    I have allergies and the staff were wonderfully helpful and made sure all choices were safe. Can't fault any of them. Brilliant experience. Very impressed.

    Different menu since we last visited and not nearly as nice a selection. The leek and potato soup was not great and very gloopy. Won’t be rushing back I’m afraid despite it being a lovely pub, nice ambience, with good service.
