We were celebrating Father's Day and my mom's 85th Birthday. The
I had a wonderful Mother's Day brunch Erica was so accommodating we got there early and our table was already waiting for us our eggs Benedict were delicious looking forward to going back real soon
Went here to celebrate Mother's Day. We looked for gluten free options and unfortunately there aren't many in Orlando. Fortunately we found this restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff was extremely accommodating. They made sure my wife was able to order their gluten free pancakes, which she liked very much. We will most certainly be back.
Been here several times. It's becoming a favorite. In the heart of Winter Park. Good food, good service - what more could you ask for?
The garden setting was very relaxing. Patty was our server. Her recommendations were spot on and we loved her personality. The shrimp etoufee and jambalaya were both very tasty. We will definitely be back.
Last meal for a Bachelorette weekend - DELICIOUS food (cannot emphasize that enough), friendly and sociable waitstaff and cozy atmosphere! Next time I come back to Winter Park I will stop by again!! Thank you for an awesome dining experience!
food and service were excellent. The menu has many choices and everything we tried was delicious, especially the strawberry pie with vanilla ice cream.
This is the best kept secret on Park Ave. Great food, great value, great service. Not pretentious. No dogs. Owner is wonderful. Tucked away in a cozy alcove. LOVE IT!
We had our Valentine's Day dinner here and it was beautiful! Nicely set back off of Park Avenue, we didn't hear or see any traffic noise, and had no issue with parking. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly. I had the Panko Chicken which was beyond delicious, and my husband had the savory chicken crepe, also delicious. The food was served hot and fresh, I'd ordered coleslaw instead of the mashed potatoes that came with my dinner and there were no issues. We definitely plan on going again, we'd like to try their weekend brunches.
Restaurant was amazing as always my fiance was extremely pleased with the staff as always we come here every year we are in the area
Lovely setting with excellent, friendly, efficient service. Highly recommend and will definitely return.
Restaurant isn't on Park Ave. Its in an alcove off of Park Ave. Food was good but not exceptional. Ok for a quick lunch.
Great service and great food with the "creole" flare!
We enjoyed our family Christmas dinner in the garden room. The ambiance was perfect and the food delicious. We always experience excellent service!
Had a great dinner with friends before the Christmas in the Park concert on December 1st. The owner was very attentive as was the wait staff making sure we enjoyed our dinners without rushing to the concert. the snapper and the lobster dishes were excellent and their brownie dessert is a real treat. Would recommend as we enjoyed ourselves.
There were 4 other people in the restaurant and it took 45 minutes to get our food. We ordered salads! The servers were not attentive, and completely unaware that we were dissatisfied with our food. The salad was SO salty! When we asked the server for our check and gave her our credit card, she said sorry I have to open this bottle of wine, I'll be back. Not good.
An amazing experience all around. Certainly one of my new favorite restaurants in 2016!!!!
Great place to eat! Intimate and great service. Small party of 18 fits great upstairs and party of 40 with great attention. Recommended
This was my first time dining at this establishment and I was impressed. A great variety of food with unique selections. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. We enjoyed the Lobster Dip and I had the Beef Medallions. We were able to take our time and really enjoyed being here.
Good food, all made in house. Service was excellent and overall value is good. May be hard to find for some new to the area.
I dined at the Bistro on Saturday, March 26th. I was very impressed with the menu, and the amount and quality of my food! I was also impressed with our waitress. She was very friendly and attentative, and a bit sassy, which I loved! I was worried when a friend of mine was rude to her about her drink, but she had the drink remade and was still friendly with everyone. I would reccommend the Bistro to anyone who wants a delicious dinner and wonderful atmosphere.
Amazing food and atmosphere
Was told the garden room was reserved for a private party so seated in a booth. Dark and dreary! Blackboard indicated Happy Hour was still in effect, but told that had changed and Saturday had no happy hour. Now that the season had started. When we pointed out the blackboard just an acknowledgment but did not offer to honor the happy hour. While service was good it was not very busy. Food was ok but nothing special. I had the Ahi tuna, not that great. Several of us had the same yellow rice served with different dishes. Overall pretty benign. Much better restaurants in the same neighborhood with far better food.
Both times we have eaten here the owner and chef have come to our table to ensure everything was perfect, especially due to my gluten sensitivity.
Overall this restaurant is just a very accommodating in every sense of the word !
I called ahead of time and they work with me on my special request you have roses and chocolates waiting for my girlfriend. They would even went above and beyond to make sure not only the chocolates didn't have any of my girlfriends food allergies but also her meal. And the outdoor seating room gives you all of the comforts of being outside without the hassle of weather the owner and her husband as well as the waiters were the most amazing people ever
This restaurant has a great garden area. Very romantic setting. But I expected the food to be a better quality for the price.
Food was good. Service superior. Half price cocktails on Thursday night were a great side benefit.
Very relaxed atmosphere with very friendly waitstaff and hostess. Good food.
We truly enjoyed our after graduation ceremony lunch, we were late arriving but
we did call to let them know. The host was very accommodating, our reservation was for 5 and we had 7 in our party and they were wonderful finding us the perfect spot. The menu was very limited but had a nice variety, I especially loved the shrimp and grits. The jambalaya was huge, tons to share and bring home leftovers.
Celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary at the Bistro on Park Ave. It was a flawless evening. Great food, great wine, attentive service and a wonderful dessert. Priced reasonably for really good food. I highly recommend the Bistro on Park Avenue.
Great service, food and ambiance! Wonderful spot for brunch and conversation. Cute patio area. Will return to try more dinner food.
Went for brunch and I would recommend it to all. Good fun and atmosphere.
Enjoyed it for the most part. Nice out of the way place. We get there any were seated right away. Personally I was not happy with the seat so I asked to move. The server 91st first1st first told me
Expensive and somewhat snobbish. Should have remembered but hey, this is Park Avenue.
Server much now friendly than host. Should have walked out after first impression. Good was just ok . can find much better for price in walking distance. Will not be back.
Me & my family thoroughly enjoyed brunch @ The Bistro. I took my wife for her late Mothers Day brunch & she loved it. The specials for the day were delicious. I got the special which was the seafood omlet & my wife got eggs benedict off the menu. They also had another special, Blueberry pancakes that my kids got & loved. The only food item that could be better is the grits. I'm from the South so I was expecting creamy knock your socks off grits & they were just plain & nothing special. The staff was awesome & helpful. They made you feel @home. Its a definitely must eat experience & I would go back again.
Nice atmosphere, could be romantic but there were to many noise children present. We sample one of the many homemade desserts, the lemon cake it was quite good, I would order it again. The restaurant was clean and I liked the open kitchen. I had one of there Germany entrees and its was well prepared and tasty . I tried this restaurant because it was recommended by the PBS critic.
The Bistro has a quiet, warm atmosphere that is comfortable for any occasion. The food (I can vouch only for brunch) was mediocre; it was food, and it filled our stomaches. The service, unfortunately, was very poor: rude management, a disinterested server and an unwelcoming attitude. It is quite possible that we just arrived on a bad day, but we will not be back.
service and food were great...manager/owner could be more hospitable ... otherwise we had a great time
My wife and I found The Bistro on a random websearch and we are SO glad we did! The food was delicious and served promptly, and our server (Kim) was excellent and very knowledgeable. We will definitely be returning!
