About The Bistro on Park Avenue
At The Bistro on Park Avenue, we have numerous dining environments from which to choose; something for everyone and every occasion. Our interior dining room features large booths perfect for large groups, ideal for families with children. We’ve been told we’re the most family friendly restaurant on Park Avenue; and, we’re happy we can meet the expectations of our little customers, as well as their parents. We do have a full Liquor Bar and offer a daily Happy Hour from 5-7pm and extended on Thursday from 5-10pm. In the back Room is our second Bar perfectly suited for birthdays, networking events and more. It has its own granite-topped bar with seating plus pub tables and chairs.
One of our most popular dining environments is our solarium. Whether summer’s heat or the threat of rain which refocuses that desire for outdoor dining inside, you’ll feel like you’re in the outdoors.

The Bistro on Park Avenue Ratings and Reviews
Went here to celebrate Mother's Day. We looked for gluten free options and unfortunately there aren't many in Orlando. Fortunately we found this restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff was extremely accommodating. They made sure my wife was able to order their gluten free pancakes, which she liked very much. We will most certainly be back.
Last meal for a Bachelorette weekend - DELICIOUS food (cannot emphasize that enough), friendly and sociable waitstaff and cozy atmosphere! Next time I come back to Winter Park I will stop by again!! Thank you for an awesome dining experience!
We had our Valentine's Day dinner here and it was beautiful! Nicely set back off of Park Avenue, we didn't hear or see any traffic noise, and had no issue with parking. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly. I had the Panko Chicken which was beyond delicious, and my husband had the savory chicken crepe, also delicious. The food was served hot and fresh, I'd ordered coleslaw instead of the mashed potatoes that came with my dinner and there were no issues. We definitely plan on going again, we'd like to try their weekend brunches.
Had a great dinner with friends before the Christmas in the Park concert on December 1st. The owner was very attentive as was the wait staff making sure we enjoyed our dinners without rushing to the concert. the snapper and the lobster dishes were excellent and their brownie dessert is a real treat. Would recommend as we enjoyed ourselves.
There were 4 other people in the restaurant and it took 45 minutes to get our food. We ordered salads! The servers were not attentive, and completely unaware that we were dissatisfied with our food. The salad was SO salty! When we asked the server for our check and gave her our credit card, she said sorry I have to open this bottle of wine, I'll be back. Not good.
This was my first time dining at this establishment and I was impressed. A great variety of food with unique selections. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. We enjoyed the Lobster Dip and I had the Beef Medallions. We were able to take our time and really enjoyed being here.
I dined at the Bistro on Saturday, March 26th. I was very impressed with the menu, and the amount and quality of my food! I was also impressed with our waitress. She was very friendly and attentative, and a bit sassy, which I loved! I was worried when a friend of mine was rude to her about her drink, but she had the drink remade and was still friendly with everyone. I would reccommend the Bistro to anyone who wants a delicious dinner and wonderful atmosphere.
Was told the garden room was reserved for a private party so seated in a booth. Dark and dreary! Blackboard indicated Happy Hour was still in effect, but told that had changed and Saturday had no happy hour. Now that the season had started. When we pointed out the blackboard just an acknowledgment but did not offer to honor the happy hour. While service was good it was not very busy. Food was ok but nothing special. I had the Ahi tuna, not that great. Several of us had the same yellow rice served with different dishes. Overall pretty benign. Much better restaurants in the same neighborhood with far better food.
Both times we have eaten here the owner and chef have come to our table to ensure everything was perfect, especially due to my gluten sensitivity.
Overall this restaurant is just a very accommodating in every sense of the word !
I called ahead of time and they work with me on my special request you have roses and chocolates waiting for my girlfriend. They would even went above and beyond to make sure not only the chocolates didn't have any of my girlfriends food allergies but also her meal. And the outdoor seating room gives you all of the comforts of being outside without the hassle of weather the owner and her husband as well as the waiters were the most amazing people ever
We truly enjoyed our after graduation ceremony lunch, we were late arriving but
we did call to let them know. The host was very accommodating, our reservation was for 5 and we had 7 in our party and they were wonderful finding us the perfect spot. The menu was very limited but had a nice variety, I especially loved the shrimp and grits. The jambalaya was huge, tons to share and bring home leftovers.
Me & my family thoroughly enjoyed brunch @ The Bistro. I took my wife for her late Mothers Day brunch & she loved it. The specials for the day were delicious. I got the special which was the seafood omlet & my wife got eggs benedict off the menu. They also had another special, Blueberry pancakes that my kids got & loved. The only food item that could be better is the grits. I'm from the South so I was expecting creamy knock your socks off grits & they were just plain & nothing special. The staff was awesome & helpful. They made you feel @home. Its a definitely must eat experience & I would go back again.
Nice atmosphere, could be romantic but there were to many noise children present. We sample one of the many homemade desserts, the lemon cake it was quite good, I would order it again. The restaurant was clean and I liked the open kitchen. I had one of there Germany entrees and its was well prepared and tasty . I tried this restaurant because it was recommended by the PBS critic.
The Bistro has a quiet, warm atmosphere that is comfortable for any occasion. The food (I can vouch only for brunch) was mediocre; it was food, and it filled our stomaches. The service, unfortunately, was very poor: rude management, a disinterested server and an unwelcoming attitude. It is quite possible that we just arrived on a bad day, but we will not be back.
