The service is excellent! The food is outstanding with a wide variety of selections prepared in imaginative ways. Always an enjoyable experience.
We've eaten here many, many times throughout the years and have always had excellent food and service. The Bistro is Continental food, but they also have a wonderful Sushi Bar, for a lighter fare. The Wine list is very good, also.
The service (Beth) was fantastic! The food was great, but we had to send one plate back because the food was cold. The second time around it was great!
The Bistro was a delightful dining experience for my wife and I. The restaurant is somewhat small and private and is the perfect romantic get away from the noisy hustle and bustle of the casino. We dined there midweek and it was not very busy. We enjoyed a couple of delicious appetizers and the main course was amazing! My wife had the Osso Bucco and I had the Veal chop. Both wonderful dishes. I look forward to going back and trying something new.
We have never been disappointed dining at The Bistro. Service is excellent, choices of entrees excellent and the ambiance on a Sunday evening was quiet. We managed to get my favorite table with is a corner table. I had sea bass with scallops, my husband has salmon and our guest had ahi tuna - bravo! Everyone was happy with the choices. We also had Caesar Salad before meal - dressy was a little too much - but that was my error in not requesting light on the dressing. however - excellent. Desert choices are plentiful! Pricing is below any restaurant on El Paseo which makes the drive to Fantasy Springs worthwhile!
We went for my wife's birthday. They brought her a cake with a candle after our meal. There was another couple celebrating the wife's birthday too. Good food; the hush puppy appetizers were yummy! My wife had the pork chop with sweet potato bread pudding and I had the Hawaiian swordfish. Both were excellent.
Tjhis is our first time. We will definitely go back.. We enjoy everything and food was excellent.
The bar tenders are great hosts as well. You can have dinner at the bar when you can't get a table. Just come at opening. Too bad they don't open earlier cause it would be a great place for happy hour
Ridiculous levels of cigarette smoke wafting in from casino. Food was good, but there are too many great restaurants in valley that are better alternatives to this place. Go elsewhere.
I would recommend this place for any occasion. Food was great as well as the service. Will definitely go back.
My wife and I asked through a reservation to be seated in front of the open kitchen. Instead we were crowed into a corner next to a large, loud table of six.
service was punctual but the waitress lacked energy and showed no interest or excitement over the menu. As usual the food was high quality, but the servings were small and the price was high.
Ambience is great, the food is great and the service is outstanding. We have been going there for dinner for several years now and we have never been disappointed.
Amazing sushi platter. Scallops cooked perfectly. Ordered my steak rare and rare is how I got it. Excellent meal. The only thing wrong was the fact our server had no personality and seemed like she was just trying to get through her shift.
Food was excellent and service was very good. The wine list is extensive and 25 listed for $25 had some very good choices. Some diners were a little "underdressed" since the restaurant is in a casino
The menu choices are incredible. I had seabass and scallops with crabmeat risotto and asparagas.....just 3 of my favorite seafood on one plate! And my husband had the largest pork chop we've ever seen
It's always nice to feel confident when making dinner reservations at any restaurant. We wanted to have a superb dinner and have never had less than that at The Bistro. While it was a special evening to enjoy the Reba Concert- the food and service was great!. See you again-soon!
Stopped on way from Arizona. Third visit. My wife says it ranks in her Top Ten! That Makes this a winner! We will be back in December.
Brought some "out of town" folks (Scotland) in for dinner & by far this was our most memorable experience. Always very good, but last night was excellent. Thanks to everyone for their service.
Food is great. Service is awesome. There is only one complaint. We made a reservation on the patio approx. two months in advance to celebrate a birthday. We received a phone call stating that the entire patio was reserved and they couldn't honor our request. They said the 'online' reservations take longer to appear then calling so. So I suggest , if you use open table, call to confirm your special request. The question I have to The Bistro and Open Table is = if I am calling the restaurant then why do I need to use open table? Otherwise, food is always outstanding and if you are looking for upscale...eat at the Bistro.
We decided to change it up a bit and order an appetizer we hadn't tried before--the "Lobster bouillebaise". It sounded a lot for one person so we split it-came with rouille and croutons. Very good. Husband had the halibut en papillote--fish was excellent, prepared very well. He isn't one for the sauce, but said this was excellent. I had my mind set on a NY steak all week---best place for a steak--flavorful, and got it with matchstick fries. Comes out perfect everytime I order it--rare-plus. We ordered dessert--the berries, marinated w/liquer, served w/vanilla ice-cream and whipped cream. Best dessert on the menu. Fantasy Springs is a casino---we come here specifically to enjoy this restaurant. Planning on lamb chops next time!
Having eaten at many restaurants in this price range, this one barely meets the minimum standard for that caliber. 2 persons, 130.00 no drinks. The service was inexperienced and clunky, not graceful. The bread service is odd in that they serve it in a paper "bread bag" like you would get from a grocerie store with a little oil and sauce for dipping. No butter. We asked for butter, I think we received soft margarine gloped on a plate. Presentation was uneventful and uninspiring. Taste was OK. nothing standing out. I ate the filet mignon with creamed garlic mash potatoes and asparagus spears and bearnaise sauce. Next days leftovers did not inspire either....
Had an excellent dinner - the scallops, sea bass and crab risotto was excellent. The warm bread served to start is a nice touch. Service was excellent. We received our food very quickly which left me concerned that much of it was pre prepped but the food was good. This is an excellent restaurant that I don't think is well known.
New waitress this time for us Maria, however she said she has been working there for quite sometime. She was EXCELLENT! so friendly, down to earth and a great waitress. You should be very proud to have her as an employee.
Great food and place to go. Except that I requested a rose for my date and they didnt have it. Other then that great place
We enjoyed the Escargot, and special "crab and avocado" starter (off menu, just for us). The Halibut was excellent and sauced just right. They have high quality meat, and the fillet Mignon is always superb. Dove sole as good as the Halibut. Wine list medium size and well selected. Not priced at 5 times Ralphs, like Las Vegas. Wine decanted, reasonable corkage. Not like Las Vegas where corkage is offered if you buy one of their overpriced bottles, then they will open yours (never heard of this?, neither had I). Stay here and gamble closer to home where you are treated like old friends because you come in so often. We dine in restaurants all over the world, but keep coming back to The Bistro, and wonder how they do it.
We had a fabulous dinner at the Bistro! The service by Adrienne was personal and attentive. She made many helpful suggestions. The quality of the food and presentation were outstanding!
great food, great service, very helpful staff. the filet is wonderful
I rate this a 10 you have try Bristo steak house you won't be disappoint better than L G 'S
Excellent food excellent service! I have never been disappointed with the menu - good variety - well prepared.
I made my reservation 6 weeks in advance because this was a special dinner. My son works at the Rock Yard and this was the first time that I was able to attend a concert here. We wanted to have dinner and watch the concert from the balcony of the bistro. I tried calling 4 times to confirm that we could have the balcony and never was able to speak to a manager. When we arrived the manager was nasty to us and told us to get off the balcony that it was reserved. I tried to tell her that I had made a reservation and she told us to go to the other balcony where she treated us like red-headed step children. We were told by a waitress that all three fans were broken (105 degrees) only to find from a bus boy that they worked 1 hour later
Enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Beth, our server, was very attentive despite having quite a few tables (at 5:30) on a Saturday evening.
My wife's filet & accompanying asparagus was cooked perfectly and my scallops were perfectly seared, presented on a bed of rice with a delicious Asian inspired sauce.
We'll be back.
We were staying at Fantasy Springs for our 48th anniversary and so I went on line to reserve dinner at The Bistro, not knowing what to expect, since we've never been there. The evening turned out to be wonderful. The service was great from our server (Monica) and the food was excellent.
The filet mignon I had melted in my mouth. My wife had a chicken dish which she loved except for the crab topping. She was trying it for the first time so they put on the side. That asked if it was a special occasion and because it was our anniversary, they gave us dessert on the house. Which was also delicious. When we stay here again or are in the area, we plan on dining at The Bistro again.
We've always enjoyed The Bistro...great food and exceptional service
This was our first experience dining at The Bistro, but won't be our last. We made reservations and were seated right away. Our waitress was cordial and efficient, and checked on us during the evening without being bothersome. We ordered the filet mignon and scallops. Both were delicious, but the scallops were some of if not the best we've ever had. I would recommend The Bistro for any occasion. You won't be disappointed.
Service is the best. The food never fails to meet my expectations. A nice variety on the menu. The lambchops are especially good. Appetizers & salad are terrific.
We had an amazing dinner for the Alan Jackson Concert. Great service and food was plentiful and wonderful. Thank you.
My wife and I had our anniversary dinner at the Bistro in Fantasy Springs Casino. It was a great way to start our evening. From the greeting at the host desk to the service at the table and the food was very good. Even walking out the chefs said good bye to us. You are able to see them and the kitchen over a high counter just off the dining room floor. Nothing to hide.
This is a casino restaurant...Nothing innovative and really average fare with just about everything containing some form of bacon. After three visits as a convenience to attending a concert after, I'll try to dine elsewhere.
We love this place , only location to get a great dinner in the whole area..
Dining at a local casino doesn't usually excite me but I was pleasantly surprised at the whole experience we had at The Bistro. The hostess gave us a warm welcome and we were seated after a short wait. Our waiter was warm and efficient. My friend and I each ordered something different and we both were very pleased with our meals. Because we had tickets to the show in the Event Center, we had to leave before we could eat our desserts which the waiter graciously and quickly packaged up so we could take them home. I will definitely return to The Bistro and have already sung their praises to other friends.
