The Bistro is located on the grounds of the Biltmore Estate, right next door to Biltmore's award-winning winery. Please be aware that you must have a valid paid estate admission ticket, be staying at Inn on Biltmore Estate or Village Hotel, or be a Biltmore Annual Passholder to dine on property. Please note that due to limited seating availability we are unable to accept reservations for our patio. All patio seating is assigned on a first come first served basis.

The Bistro features contemporary American fare. Fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients are the focus on the dinner menu, which features premium steaks, impeccable mountain trout and seafood, poultry and lamb. Gardens on the estate produce a wide array of vegetables and fruits throughout the seasons, and our extensive pasture lands provide all-natural, hormone-free Black Angus beef and lamb.

    Very good food, a little congested at the check in stand as people were attempting to eat that did not have reservations. Strongly recommend you make reservations. Our server Blake was outstanding, very attentive without being a bother.

    Nice atmosphere, we were there at 4 when they opened and there were plenty of open tables on a Monday in early December. Service was very good and the food was good too. Not the best I've ever had but above average.

    I wanted to be impressed but sadly I was not. My food; trout, was overcooked and salty. The server rushed every communications we had with him. No customer service. We didn't feel like we were important to him.

    A party of 6 brought the noise level up somewhat and that was the only negative. Food was delicious, service was prompt and atmosphere was just fine. I’d recommend The Bistro without hesitation.

    From start to finish, everything was perfect! Polite, efficient hostesses. Our waiter, Lamar, was fantastic! He was attentive, answered our questions, and we wanted for nothing. Lamar, in my opinion, is an asset to Biltmore. All in my party of 4 said their entrées were wonderful. Everything was cooked to order and tasted amazing! I have been, and will continue to be a return customer to The Bistro.

    Excellent place for dinner after a long day at The Biltmore House. We had an excellent server, Brittany and she was very kind and attentive! Delicious food and presentation of meal was excellent! We very much enjoyed our dinner! Thank you!

    Live in Fl/fortunate to have 2nd home in Waynesville for many years...have been coming to Bistro every couple years in hopes for a better experience than our last visit- the Trend Line operationally continues a worsening downward spiral ...I happen to own 5 restaurants-4 in Fl & 1 in Waynesville so I have a pretty good idea of the 'ball busting' challenges of our industry...maybe 1st online critique I've ever submitted -this questionnaire I couldn't go without responding to-you need desperately a new leadership team at your entire food & beverage footprint...with due respect!!

    We've eaten at the Bistro in the past and always had an amazing meal and service. We decided to try their 3 course menu for Thanksgiving. Food was just ok, especially for the price. Some portions were extremely small, and the service was very slow. Hopefully, this was a one-off, considering it was a holiday.

    The beautiful Biltmore setting along the river is the best feature of this eatery. We reserved a table for the fixed price Thanksgiving dinner and we’re a bit disappointed with the quality of our experience. The food, ambiance, and service were average although our server was nice and apologized for the lagging kitchen turnaround times. The Biltmore’s own winery selections were pretty good, considering the Estate has no vineyards of its own. At this price point there are better options across Asheville.

    We had a delightful meal with good food, comfortable seating, attractive surroundings. Our server, Blake (I think), was attentive, helpful, and so pleasant. It was a relaxing evening, too.

    The quality of the food does not match the prices. OK meal but not worth the price. I understand marketing of your own wines is important but not great for customer service. I won't eat there again for this very reason.

    What a lovely evening! Our dinner at The Bistro was amazing. He had the stuffed cabbage and I had the trout and both were just perfect. We ordered a red flight and a white flight of wine so we tasted 6 different wines. They were all good but we each found a favorite and went straight to the wine shop after dinner and purchased several bottles of each ….and did another wine tasting in the wine shop. This was followed by the candlelight tour of the mansion and the decorations were awesome. Every employee was so kind and welcoming. The parking and shuttle service was easy and efficient and the bus drivers were fun. So I have to say it was an extraordinary evening from start to finish. Thank you so much! We hope to return in a few years.

    What a wonderful dining experience. I enjoyed the Manila Clam entree. The entire dish was fabulous but the creamy sauce was beyond. My partner got the Flounder which he said melted in his mouth. Natalie was our server and was pleasant, welcoming and engaging without being intrusive. She was very knowledgeable about the menu as well.

    One of the better meals we have ever eaten. The food was flavorfull without full of added chemicals. It was a late anniversary dinner and we were able to get a reservation the day before and get right in when they opened. We were seated in a good area where we could easily talk to each other. The noise level was just right. Thank you for a perfect evening!
