Our server Beki was great! My parents were in town visiting and I wanted to take them out to a local place. They were blown away by the service, food and all around atmosphere. Definitely will be back!
Most certainly worth the drive for this hidden gem! Will be on our dinner rotation for sure
Great restaurant with a great staff and wonderful food. This was a crap shoot for us... I just wanted a new place up in the mountains for us to go for our anniversary and we got lucky with this place. Just all around excellence.
I am not from the area, but I flew up this week to propose to my girlfriend. I stumbled upon The Bistro as I was searching for the perfect romantic spot. I'm so glad I did. God is so good about guiding us to the right place for the right time. Mike, our waiter was amazing. He even had the bartender create a non-alcoholic "Champagne substitute" for us, which was a perfect fit for the Special Occasion. I'm so glad The Bistro will now be a permanent part of our love story together. We will definitely return to celebrate there in the future. It is a perfect combination of rustic and fine dining. It's quaint yet comfortable. It's classy and accessible. Beautiful inside and out.
This is one of favorite places. Consistently good food and drinks!
We have been dining at The Bistro for several years and even hosted our wedding reception there. It never disappoints and we love the staff who really takes care of us every time we come. Anyone we talk to who dines there has the same experience so I know it's not "just us". Dive in to multiple appetizers, have an entree and don't forget the dessert! It's ALL tasty and well prepared. A few of my favorites are the salmon and pot roast..to die for! The friendly owner is on site and the staff is so courteous and attentive. Best food in the Evergreen area!
Wonderful dining experience, a pleasure as always!
We love going to the Bistro. Food is always very good and everyone is very gracious.
This is the second time we have been to The Bistro. We have been pleased both times! This meal was an Easter Brunch with a special menu. The food was good and presented well and everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. Our service has been great both times as the servers were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We continue to have great dining experiences at The Bistro!
The servers were fantastic. The food and drinks were great.
As always we had a delightful experience with delicious food. We're from Seattle and come to Colorado to visit family. We always look forward to a convivial meal at the Bistro with some family members . The food is wonderful and we can catch up with each other in a pleasant atmosphere.
Seems like the las three times that we have gone to the Bistro that the food is just not as good as it used to be. It's charming, but while you used to able to count on tasty, it is not the case now. I had an appetizer and entre that were both without much flavor. While none of us talked about it, no one else said that their food was really good or great.
Steak tasted like beef jerky, was not even remotely edible.
We had an exceptional Sunday Brunch with family and celebrated two Birthdays. The staff was exceptional as well. Very professional and attentive. Could not ask for better food! Still thinking about the Aussie eggs benedict I had, wow!
Food was okay but NOT worth the price at all. The ambiance and menu is nice, the wine list is great, the staff was very friendly - but the food was in no way worth the price.
Had a lovely dining experience. Food delicious and good service. Always love the interior of this place. Would be happy to do it again
A regular Sunday brunch place for us at a great price
The Bistro is just a short drive into the mountains but gives the feeling of being far away from the city. The ambience is rustic casual and the restaurant feels very cozy. We have dined here twice and found the food to be excellent . This time was a particularly good value as they have extended their restaurant week menu through March.
The Bistro is always a sure place to take family, friends and business affiliates. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Great gift for clients new to the area!
We had a lovely date. Our service was great. We sat by the fireplace and enjoyed the piano player & ambience. The food was just so so. The presentation was nice, but the flavor was just ok. That’s just our opinion, but perhaps someone else would feel differently. We would definitely return to try another dish because we had such great service & enjoyed the ambience.
Food was good for the mountain area in lieu of going into Denver.
Had dinner during Denver's Restaurant Week 2018. Good variety offered on the Restaurant Week Menu. Service and food was excellent. Will definitely return.
Food was great service was fantastic, piano was a tad loud. Hard to have a conversation
Thank you for making our wedding anniversary a special evening. The waitress and staff went out of her way to make it an enjoyable experience. The food was excellent and served timely. I appreciated the attention to detail when ordering a fine wine. They decanter the wine and used what appeared to be Riedel wine glasses a detail many restaurants ignore. Looking forward to coming back soon. It is well worth the drive.
We were there for the Restaurant Week special, and the food was very good, however, I got a tough piece of meat. I should have complained. However, the meal tasted very good and my husbands bison was delicious.
Excellent restaurant with amazing food. I have been there several times, and have never been disappointed. I recommend The Bistro to any out-of-town guests whenever they visit.
Excellent food with well timed delivery from the server. Good atmosphere. Leisurely dining.
2 couples enjoyed the 5280 fixed 3 course menu. Everything was excellently prepared and served. We had to laugh ... the special main dish 12 oz steak could be substituted for “JUST a $20 upcharge” over the set price of $35. We joked with the waitress over the “JUST”. But the 3 course has a nice wide range of selections - hard to decide. Very enjoyable dinner outing.
Kacey our server was absolutely the best. I’ve traveled extensively for 30 plus years eating at thousands of restaurants and she is at the very top of my list. The food and presentation was excellent. My wife and our friends will be back soon.
What a great find!
Bistro at Marshdale is such a great place in the mountains for special occasions. The building and history are a wonderful addition to the marvelous food they serve and service they provide.
Came here for their Restaurant Week menu. Duck was cooked well & not greasy; pork short ribs fell off the bone & the mango jalapeno sauce was delicious! The tiramisu was somewhat bland but it was light & fluffy; the creme brulee sugar was more burnt than I like but the custard was very good. They boxed up our leftovers & didn't include one of the ribs that still had meat on it. Not that big of a deal but they were so good that I wanted it all & I hate wasting food! Overall it was a delicious meal & a great deal; I plan on going back to try their regular menu.
A very fun suprise in Evergreen. Rustic and cozy. Loved the atmosphere. Food was very good and the service was excellent. We will be going back.
We always enjoy the Bistro and enjoy coming early and sitting on the porch as it is quieter. The food is always outstanding. They provide gluten-free which is wonderful! The service was great and we will be back!
Thoroughly enjoyed our experience especially the food, atmosphere, and service.
Our host kept the beautiful real wood fireplace ablaze through our stay which kept us toasty on a very frigid Colorado Rockies evening. Everything we had from the delicious New Zealand Sauvignon blanc through dessert was wonderful including our gracious server, Stacy. Many thanks for a lovely evening celebrating 56 years of marriage.
The restaurant was just perfect to celebrate our anniversary. There were rose petals on the table, and a great server to take care of all of our needs. We will definitely come back!
Very nice, will be going back again.
Food and service was great. However, we were placed in the small porch area (just 3 tables) and there was an exceptionally loud man seated at one of the tables. So much for a nice, peaceful date night. This made the anticipated dinner less than exceptional. Next time, I'll definitely request a table inside the main restaurant due to the poor acoustics on the porch.
Have had dinner there many times, none better than last Saturday night. The food and service were notably better . . we all loved it and had a great night.
The Bistro is consistently fabulous...the food is delicious, the setting is serene and calm and the staff is lovely. Our most recent visit was for the Prime Rib Friday Night Special and our entire table agreed that it was some of the best prime rib in recent memory! Don't get me started on the delicious desserts....and ooooohhhh....the fresh baked bread and oil....it's all just wonderful!!!
