The service was great! Dan was very accommodating and I appreciated his suggestions. The food (lamb and potatoes) was a little bland but really provided the opportunity to taste all ingredients. It gave the orderer the ability to salt and pepper to taste. The stuffed peppers were outstanding and we ended up ordering a second plate. I will be coming back for sure.

Excellent meal! Waitress was beyond nice! We are definitely planning on going back! In warmer weather, they have an outdoor menu along with music. Can’t wait to go back for that!

This was our first time visiting Gervasi, we also took the winery tour. The entire experience was wonderful, and the Bistro food was delicious! I have already recommended it to some people I work with.

Romantic Valentines dinner did not disappoint ❤️ The specials were great as were their new bar selections. The chocolate deserts were to die for. While on the $$$$ side, we did splurge.
My only suggestion would be to have valet parking..

Our waiter was fantastic, as wait staff here usually is. Food and drinks were also very good, as usual. Too bad they're getting rid of the stout. It's really great. My only complaint would be that the hostess could maybe use some training, or management needs to plan better. When people have reservations for the same time a restaurant opens, you should be expecting patrons to arrive a few minutes early. Management should not be having a last minute meeting. Do that 20 or 30 minutes early. No one should be told that "We actually don't open for a few more minutes and are having a meeting. You can wait here or at the bar until we're done." That killed the mood, until the waiter could recover.

Our lunch was amazing. Oysters for an appetizer and salmon for main course. She had pasta with meat sauce. Portion was so big we ate it for 3 days.

This place is great! I loved it and better yet, my girlfriend loved it too. The food was good, hot and fresh. I got a drink and it wa's good too. It wasn't stirred very welll, but after I stirred it, it was very good.
The drive home was wonderful because the trees beside the vineyard were lit up. It was fantastic.
I'll be back for sure!

Celebrating three birthdays, we had superb service from Jess our server. Food was Instagram-worthy and tasted even better than it looked. A couple of us had a scrumptious seafood special with crab-stuffed ravioli, shrimp and half-dollar-sized scallops. Four of our diners had flights of wine to taste before each ordered their favorite. Jess provided expert advice with warmth & humor. What a great night!

I took an out of state friend to this restaurant and we both felt very comfortable, loved the ambiance, lighting, serving staff, and food. Did not feel rushed through our dinner.
This is my 4th time for dinner at this location, and I keep finding reasons to introduce more people to this restaurant.

Another great dinner! Enjoyed a early dinner for husband's birthday. Service was good, food as always delicious and presentation appealing. We ordered a desert to share and our server also brought out a complimentary gelato cup with Happy Birthday written in chocolate on plate with a candle. Nice surprise!!

This was our first visit and we loved it! Our waitress was Amazing!!!... very knowledgeable, competent and it was obvious she enjoyed her job. She gave us history of the Vineyards and knew the menu very well and gave us wonderful suggestions! She was probably the best waitress we've ever had. The food was delicious and everyone at Gervasi was very friendly and helpful.

What a wonderful experience. The food, from appetizers to the complimentary gelato, for our anniversary, was as special as the occasion. We notified the server that we wanted to take our time and she accommodated us for a no rush relaxing evening, though she was there for our every need.
If there was one drawback, at no fault of the establishment, it was a group of high school students were there prior to a winter formal and they "took over" the dining area, or their parents did, posing for pictures and being HS kids right by our table. After 30 minutes it subsided.
A Canton jewel for sure. Thank you for maintaining such a class operation in our area.

WE love going there, however, my meal did not come out as ordered. The staff did make it right by me on the bill but they restaurant was not very busy (I counted 10 tables) and it took a long time between courses. Also, I asked our waiter for a bottle of wine to take home and she never brought it. My husband went to the bar and bought it. It lacked the elegance that I always expect there.

Overall, we had a very pleasant anniversary dinner. The smoked pork loin and beef short ribs were excellent. However, there was a large mix-up at the end with our bill that was very difficult to straighten out. Otherwise, a nice place for a special occasion.

My husband and I have dined at The Bistro numerous times and only a couple of times has the service not been excellent. Last night was one of those times. It started out well but a large party came in right after we selected our first glass of wine and our waiter pretty much abandoned us to serve the larger group. Our drink ran out, we had to flag down another waitress to get more bread and someone from the kitchen brought out our meals and desserts. This was our first dining experience that a manager did not stop by our table to ask how everything was. Our waiter did not even stop by after we received our food to see if everything was good and as ordered.

Our meal was delicious as was the wine our table selected from the recommendation of the staff at the Bistro! Everything was perfect for our evening of dining. Highly recommend the Bistro as the overall atmosphere is outstanding and the staff is very well-trained and know their way around the food menu and wine list. It is well worth the drive to 55th Street!!

The pork loin dinner was amazing. The server also brought us a complimentary dessert in honor of our anniversary, which was a pleasant and delicious surprise! I was slightly disappointed with the plastic bottles of flavored tea that we were served for our drinks as the vending style bottles seemed out of place in such an elegant atmosphere and table setting. We had a lovely view of the snow covered lake and villas in the distance. My husband had the filet minion and it was cooked perfectly. He found the mashed potatoes to be rather bland, like instant potatoes, although they were made at the restaurant. I look forward to going back for another romantic dinner in the future.
