Wonderful experience

We had the wagyu carpaccio and it was probably the best we’ve ever had. I had the Arctic Char which was excellent and my wife had the wood fired brome lake duck which was exceptional. I found the lemongrass pannacotta was a bit underwhelming but my wife loved it and it paired nicely with an espresso martini that was nicely prepared.

It was a 40th Birthday however the servers regretted to mention it. I had put a note on the reservation.

We had our micro wedding reception here and like always the staff at the Bison exceeded our expectations. The food is always amazing, the service exceptional. Thank you so much to everyone at the Bison for making our day that much more special!

The carpaccio was incredible! All the food was very flavourful and well presented. Staff are happy, friendly and genuinely pleased to know how delicious their food is! Pride...it’s a beautiful thing. Big two thumbs up for this place!

Amazing food! Server was attentive and friendly! All Covid protocols were followed, felt safe and happy enjoying our last meal out on their outside patio in a little bit of rain. Space was Covered and the heaters really helped! Will go again for the bison ragu and gnocchi and the tartare!! The bison trio they are famous far was not on menu but I asked and they created it for us!! Amazing cocktails also!

We had brunch on the roof top patio, gorgeous views, sublimely executed food (the crunchy baby potatoes!) and gracious service. Thank you to all the staff at the Bison. Each of the tables on the patio has a dedicated heater and it felt safe yet welcoming to dine there.

Brunch was incredible. We had the bison benny and peameal benny and both were delicious. Even the potatoes were fried perfectly. However, the French press coffee was awful. We are small batch coffee drinkers, so we are used to French press coffee. I’m not sure if our server used too many beans or what, it was just undrinkable. But we will definitely be back for the food!

I always wondered why such high reviews. Today, we finally had a chance to reserve a table. Amazing staff, great menu and fantastic taste! Jenny helped us and made our evening extra special. She suggested the trio which was perfectly enough for two. About the taste, we wanted to try it all and we did. It came with bison sausages, short rib and steak with some roasted squash. So good! Next visit to Banff will include the same order for sure.

We came in for a quick brunch on a tight timeline on Sunday, March 28th. The hostess at the door was extremely friendly and welcoming. Carla our server was awesome! I had to order for the whole table since everyone else was running late and she was extremely patient and accommodating. The food was amazing as always! We met our timeline effortlessly thanks to the staff! Highly recommend Bison brunch!

Second time coming back to Bison. The first experience was great and this time was no different. Tried a different dish this time and still so delicious. Highly recommend to anyone.

Second time at The Bison and again it did not disappoint. Hands down one of the best restaurants in Banff. Classy setting, very quality food with creative combinations, for an overall satisfying night out. Will be back again!
