As I expected!
Tables not too close for a business meal. Convenient valet parking. All items ordered were very good.
3 business breakfasts and 1 business lunch this week. Great service and great food each time. The staff understands business meals and are discreet and also helpful (we needed our phones charged!). Highly recommend. The roof restaurant is also wonderful but noisier.
I love that the waiter was well informed of our allergies since I included in our reservations. Their protocol is excellent for handling this. The food was excellently fresh and luscious. I think the price matches the food.
The Belvedere is particularly nice for breakfast or lunch with friends.
The cauliflower is amazing! I would love the recipe.
Great food and service
It was great, the food was delicious
Wonderful classy place. Hotel dining at its best
Fabulous meal! Great service! Beautiful space! Can’t wait to return!
Great experience.. professional service, attentive to detail..
great food .. beautiful room.. Voila!
The standard of food at the buffet is not good enough for this hotel. There wasn't much choice.. and the chicken was dry.. and there weren't enough vegetables.
Really surprised by the standard and we won't be going back to this buffet again.
I will say that the service was decent and they were on point with refilling the champagne.
OK most hotel dining experiences are overpriced, overrated with mediocre food. Thus, I am suspicious of hotel dining rooms for many reasons.... but there are exceptions and, for lunch, this is one of them.
The food is delicious, service exemplary, and the surroundings wonderful. The patio was closed when we had lunch there but I’d highly recommend that weather permitting....
Yes it is expensive, but you can’t get much better than The Belvedere for a memorable and civilized lunch .....
Celebrated our girlfriends birthday with their amazing brunch.
This restaurant was absolutely amazing and our server Jason was fantastic.
I was surprised that we had to flag people down to get items we needed considering the price and high end location.
It was lovely. We sat out on the patio.
Excellent date spot for Valentine’s Day❤️ All staff members were incredible courteous (and fun to be with) and the ambiance was beautiful.
Valentine’s Day celebration
Upscale, excellent food and impeccable service. Pricey, especially at dinner.
Neighborhood gem. Beautiful and great service. I love taking friends anc clients there.
The atmosphere and service is amazing. I love coming here for an elegant and relaxing evening.
The food is prepared perfectly, and the menu has lots of vegetarian options, lots of fish.
Nice selection of salads too
After dinner we went to the Living Room lounge, where we had tea and dessert.
The staff at the Belvedere helped get us a table set up to be ready when we arrived.
Overall amazing dinner and night at the Belvedere @ Peninsula hotel. Definitely making this place a regular.
Impeccable service with truly excellent cuisine
We had a Christmas brunch. It was really good.
Unlimited champagne was so good but I had only two glasses.
Because of the portion of food. :)
Dessert buffet was amazing.
People were nice.
Next time I want to try Saturday brunch here.
EXCELLENT as ALWAYS!
My wife and I celebrated my 79th birthday. The food was wonderful. The service was great.
My two friends and I have had our Holiday Lunch at The Belvedere Room for several years, except the year it was closed for remodeling. To say I was disappointed with the management and wait service, is an understatement. We arrived at noon, were seated in the middle of the restaurant which seemed liked a good location. A waiter took our drink orders and told us he would be our server, we never saw him again. After about 15 minutes another waiter came by and took our order. Our food was served promptly and was very good. We sat with empty plates in front of us for 30 minutes. We watched our waiter running around the restaurant, along with others. No stopped by to see if we wanted to see a dessert menu or if we needed water, tea, or coffee. We flagged a manager down, told her we have been deserted, could we see a dessert menu, she brought then quickly. She could have sent the waiter to our table. Again, we waited , for our waiter to see if we wanted to order anything else. Frustrated, we asked if we could get our check. The waiter finally came by to ask if we wanted to order dessert, we replied just the check, it was too late and we needed to leave. He apologized stating they were short staffed. It happens but someone should have mentioned that before. Or at the very least, when the manager brought the dessert menus. Needless to say, it was not a pleasant experience.
The food was excellent, the service was excellent, the ambiance was excellent, and although the bill was expensive the value was very very good. It's nice to find a restaurant that isn't focused on "turning the table" and exceeds your expectations. We have returned again will continue to return often.
The teak was great but the duck was only OK. The service is polite and cordial but not overly attentive. The decor is lavish.
The room is similar to a L'Orangerie in France. Unfortunately, the food tries to hard and misses badly. For the most part everything is different than the classic style - just a tad too trendy. The hamburger was the only item that was classic and it was good (not great). Dessert was a mess. We ordered the $18 Bouche D'Noel - wow what a disappointment - No cake just a bunch of icings/creams on a beautifully decorated plate. No mention of this deconstructed approach on the menu. In addition. - for the most part the service was not attentive. I find the Polo Lounge a much more satisfactory experience.
The service and cleanliness was fantastic!
Three friends for dinner. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, the ambiance was excellent, and although the bill was expensive the value was very very good. It's nice to find a restaurant that exceeds your expectations. We will return often.
Had such a lovely anniversary brunch. Live guitarist on the patio. Bottomless mimosas. Pretty original brunch food options. For example, lobster waffle. We had the most amazing server, Cecelio. Overall great time. I do wish the food was a bit more flavorful.
Dining at the Belvedere (Peninsula Hotel) is always a treat. Each of us loved the food, the service, the ambiance, and the ability to talk to each other without background noise interfering.
Always a great luncheon spot whether during the week or Sunday buffet.
The food was satisfactory, but nothing too interesting. The service is good. The setting and ambiance is a bit tired. The restaurant offers a bit of an old world feel, but lacks much excitement.
Fabulous food, fabulous staff and servers and beautiful presentation. . . . and you can hear yourself think and talk!!
If you have money to spend for a nice date or business brunch or anything like that, this is the place to go. They smoke their own salmon in house, make everything from scratch, etc. My husband and I did go home feeling sick, however that might be because we ate so much seafood. Overall, incredible dining experience.
I came here for my 16th birthday brunch, and I wasn't disappointed. The staff surprised me with chocolate covered strawberries on a plate with a birthday message and candle-- they made it truly special!! The egg white frittata was phenomenal, and I will definitely be back.
Attentive service all night. Generous portions so took half home & saved room for the gorgeous as well as delicious Faberge Egg filled with chocolate, peanut butter & raspberry - a work of art! Loved the Dover Sole & octopus. There was a nice amuse bouche of tomatillo gazpacho to start and we ate every peice of the crispy thin Parmesan crackers. Will definitely be back!
The service at the Peninsula is always top-notch. A girlfriend and I came here for Sunday brunch. Several people greeted us when we sat down and made sure we had everything we needed. I have a gluten allergy and therefore could not have many things on the buffet, but someone from the kitchen came out to show me what I could and could not have. I enjoyed the shrimp, crab, and oysters. The wait staff also brought me some gluten-free bread and and a poached egg with hollandaise since I could not eat the eggs benedict. All in all a good experience, but definitely pricey, especially when you have allergies that prevent you from eating half of the brunch options and most of the desserts.
