The Belvedere at The Peninsula Beverly Hills Ratings and Reviews
I was hoping for so much more. While the new room looked inviting in a country French way, the elegance was missing. Not enough wait staff on the patio on a busy Sunday night. Limited wine choices and was unable to explain difference between fish on menu and fish special for evening. Faberge egg was unique and well done.
I thank my friends at The Belvedere for their consistent, distinguished service, which continues to ensure that the restaurant provides the best Sunday Brunch in Los Angeles. The kind staff, delicious cuisine, and variety of choices make for an outstanding brunch that cannot be matched by any other institution.
Went there with friends for a birthday lunch. We've been to the rooftop restaurant in the Peninsula Hotel before but wanted to try the new patio. It was a lovely setting and a new menu that was interesting. While our server was excellent I think they were short help as he was often difficult to find . No real complaints though as we weren't in a rush and we enjoyed the time we spent there.
Our dinner was wonderful. We shared the smoked salmon flatbread appetizer. Then the linguine with mussels, the scallops, and the broiled salmon, and cauliflower. Coffee and cookies for dessert. Excellent service and a delightful ambiance. Try The Belvedere, you'll love it.
I was sorry that the Belvedere was not what we expected. I was happy that the renovated Belvedere became a alfresco casual restaurant. Extremely disappointed in the food. We love sitting outside. The food was horrible. Extremely overpriced. The one thing they have to offer is the noise level is great. Otherwise they need a new chef and menu.
Lovely restaurant attentive service. Everything we ordered was delicious. The charred Caesar salad, lamb tangine was outstanding don't miss the faberge egg not to be missed. The waiter even poured another round of champagne because miss judged the end of the bottle.
This is a beautiful and quiet restaurant which is hard to find in LA. We would definitely go back with another couple as we could have a conversation w/o shouting at each other to be heard. That being said it is a special occasion restaurant due to the prices ,at least for us. They were very friendly and nice ,the service was great as well as the food was wonderful.
Starting with the parking, you get 2 hours paid with a voucher for dinning, so it's free.
The wait staff was amazing, helping us pick out a new wine. When it wasn't exactly the taste we were looking for, another suggestion led to a new favorite from France.
The food was amazing and the price was right. I would say its more of 3-4 $$$$, not a full 4 on the wallet. Loved it.
Overall I would gladly go again.
