Waiter was cold and not really friendly
We love Ramone! He makes the evening more elegant and wonderful w his presence
Took my youngest son for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon and sat outside on the beautiful patio. The service and ambiance was perfect and the food was delicious. We both ordered different salads and the portions were large, we had to request boxes to take home. The use of fresh and flavorful ingredients was obvious and we both said they were the best salads (Charred Cesar and Mediterranean Chickpea Cobb with Falafel) we ever had! The Belvedere outdoor dining area is the perfect setting for an outdoor afternoon lunch. Can't wait to go back!
Birthday celebration and Rose Bowl!!!
A special occasion with wonderful food, excellent service, and a relaxed ambiance.
The service and friendliness of the staff was great and the food was even better, so delicious!
Food needed more seasoning.
Amazing as always. One of the best places in LA.
Christmas Dinner was excellent. Served family style with a number of dishes.
Amazing breakfast and service. Highly recommend and will be returning
Christmas time at The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills is always a great time to show off to out-of-town guests because of the lavish decorations and Christmas tree. The Belvedere restaurant is definitely on the pricey side, but the service and selection make it worth every penny.
We wanted to dine at The Belvedere as it was our 1st visit to Beverly Hills. I cannot say enough great things about our dining experience. Our waiter, Derrick Dalton was outstanding. He took us through the menu, and made both main course and cocktail recommendations. He was attentive and personable.
We had Filet and also the Tagliatelle Special. 5 stars to both. Absolutely fabulous food. The cauliflower was unique and delicious. The ambiance was just what we had expected. We look forward to returning and enjoying the outdoor patio when the weather is warmer. We highly recommend The Belvedere at The Penninsula.
Wonderful service, good food choices.
Wish the decor had been a bit more festive, we went for a Holiday brunch.
But overall lovely.
The atmosphere and ambiance hasn't changed since the last time we were here, which was several years ago. The food presentation and service was outstanding. The chef and waiter, Derek, were able to accommodate a request to change the vegetable choice on my entree, which in this case was green beans from cauliflower.
An intimate dining experience, which Derek added too.
I was disappointed with the food selection for the price. The salads were soggy with dressing mixed in and a small selection of cheeses. I requested a slice of meet to be cooked a bit more. It came back burned and hard. I love the Belvedere for dinner but I will not be returning for brunch.
Only if they want a very pricey tea that is delicious but.....
Food was too salty, couldn’t get waiters attention, and after lunch
The tea was undrinkable.
The free flowing champagne was great. The food was mediocre at best. Use to be such a wonderful place for brunch. Now that it’s Buffet, it lost its charm. Frozen shrimp, not great oysters, poached eggs were hard. Big disappointment.
Great ambiance and service. But honestly the food was only mediocre. Bad value for the price. I’d go again but only for appetizers (pasta was good) and drinks. But honestly, this was a very, very expensive dinner and not well prepared. Overly salty and overcooked. The servers were very nice but it didn’t make up for the food.
There were numerous members of the serving staff assigned to tables as well as a private dining room...each time the door opened to that room and anything was requested...everyone stopped serving their tables and ran to the private room and forgot to bring anything that was requested by their tables. Due to this...everything was served cold, or not at all. If you are going to raise your prices every year...get better, not worse!
We were seated in a cold, bland ballroom. The hotel tried to make the room feel inviting, but there was nothing convivial about it. At the very least, guest should be told ahead of time that they will not be seated in the dining room.
The food was fabulous and the service was impeccable. The Peninsula Hotel does a great job of decorating for the holidays and all of the staff we’re helpful and friendly which made our visit delightful.
I just won my wife's birthday celebration. She was unbelievably happy. Great experience
A lovely birthday lunch on the patio with friends
Ambiance was good. Good place to conduct business or a nice date
Peninsula Hotel is the top rated hotel in Beverly Hills, and in my judgement Belvedere is the best restaurant. Food is very good, service is excellent, ambiance is very pleasant, and management of the restaurant is as good or better than the top rated places. Management know your preferences and ensure that it is always met. I always look forward to dining at this wonderful restaurant.
Always a lovely evening in a beautiful ambience with great service. The was well presented and delicious.
Nice but food was a bit subpar. Great Orange juice!
This is my 2nd time dine at The Belvedere for their Sunday Bunch. I wish they can rotate the meat every other week. I don't eat lamb so there is one less dish for me to enjoy.
Mi esposo y yo celebramos nuestro aniversario y fueron suuuper atentos, nos trajeron un tiramisu. Excelente servicio
Food was delicious. Service was outstanding
Our anniversary. Delicious meal and attentive service. Complimentary tiramisu dessert was heavenly. This is our go-to place for special occasions, and it never disappoints.
Absolutely had a fantastic time. Our waiter Allen was friendly and attentive. Other staff members were fast clear our table. Overall, we were both satisfied and had a great time. We will go back for sure, perhaps when they have the no corkage fees.
Cudos for both BOH and FOH team. As a Food and Beverage Manager working for 5 Star Hotels, our dinner was one of the best, very close to the best dinner we ever have. Thank you all for your great hospitality.
In my book, it doesn’t get better than the Belvedere: quiet, perfect service, understated elegant atmosphere, great wine list and delicious food. It’s the kind of dining experience you hate leave when it’s over. It’s not inexpensive, but if you’re going to spend the $, this is the place to do it.
Excellent and attentive service, well prepared food, lovely ambiance
Always a wonderful dinning experience
Great food and excellent service
We went with 2 Travelzoo vouchers, you get 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert per voucher ($99). It seemed to be a good deal but the food was just ordinary. There's nothing that wow us. Service was good and that was all we can say. The prices were well overpriced so your voucher made it looked you are getting a good deal. Well, I expect more from The Peninsula, but it was a letdown.
