The Belle Freehouse, named after the iconic B-17 Memphis Belle that was staying in Bassinbourn during World War 2, is a hub for traditional British pub meals and modern variations. Patrons can choose to sit in the main bar or opt for a table in the casual dining area. The venue boasts a log burning stove situated at the heart of the pub, a soft seating area in which to unwind before dinner, and a purpose-built, hand-crafted bar. The menu of drinks available is an important component of the overall experience, with a generous selection of real ales, lagers, wines, spirits and liqueurs. Sunday roasts, bar snacks, breakfast/brunch, lunch and dinner options are all cooked up from scratch by the team of chefs who rule the kitchen.

Great food and great service. Portion size was perfect for us but others may complain. A bigger choice may be needed however perfect for us.
