It was everything we were looking and the service was great. Each dish was unique and original. We will definitely go back.
The tapas and service were great! We enjoyed a celebration while exploring food options.
Good restaurant with variety. Will come here again! Chocolate torte was not great, though. Suggestion....why not have mini desserts offered to add to the tapas experience!?
We had reservations and It was a busy night - we sat outside - food was great, server was really nice - but food and drink service was slow. We had an 8:00 show to go to -(seated at 6:40) and they had to put my wife's entre into a to go box as it came out of kitchen at 7:50. Great place , will give them another chance when we are in Augusta again.
Very pleasantly surprised by the food here. We had a little time to catch a bite for a show at a local theater so decided to give it a try. They even had a theater menu which were items that would take a little less time to prepare. They were delicious! Will go back.
Amazing Avacodo Chop Chop - Great service - very accommodating for our growing group party... a true gem in Downtown Augusta Ga which is beautiful, unique. original... must visit along with The Hive next door...
Love love love his place need to come back with a group of friends for a good time !!
Food very good! Cozy atmosphere. Server knew the menu and described menu items. We will go there again!
Great service and amazing & unique food.
It was a very busy night during Masters week. Food was very good but the service was sort of slow. I don't think they normally get crowds that big. They staff tried their best but it was an uphill battle.
Great first experience. Menu was very diverse and had tastyoptions. As was drink menu and wine. Would definitely go again.
Food delivery was slow but was well worth the wait!
We were there for Easter Brunch. Service poor, although waiter was overwhelmed. My salad was so tiny I thought it was a side salad and the server did too so she took it back. Then a rude server returned it and plopped it in front of me without saying a word. My daughters omelet was good but my husband’s breakfast burrito was cold. My daughter said the restaurant was much better for dinner, therefore I might try the dinner next time.
Wonderful and amazing every time!!
We always enjoy the atmosphere and the food is usually pretty good! Great drink specials, great service!
I don’t think their brunch menu is great.
Our server was nice but it was clear he didn't understand the menu that well. It took a while for him to come back to our table. Home fries were not cooked at all and we sent them back. The server never brought out new home fries and still tried to charge us for them. Although he was very nice and apologetic, I wouldn't recommend this place.
I have been a huge Bee’s Knee’s fan for years. I love the food, cocktails, and atmosphere. Every time the food has been exceptional besides this night. All the tapas ordered were delicious. The two large entrees were a bit disappointing. The Pad Thai noodles were over cooked and vegetables as well. The flavor was good though. The Panang Chicken Curry was bland. I was disappointed. I’ve had both before and have been pleased but tonight I was disappointed.
Great place for a girl’s night out. Waiter was attentive and the food options were awesome!
The food didn't come until an hour after we ordered and there was only 1 or 2 servers it looked like for the whole restaurant but in our section, we were the ONLY group sitting there. We placed our order for alcoholic beverages 10 minutes before 12:30pm hit and our drinks took over 20 minutes to get to our table.I heard this restaurant was supposed to be one of the better places in Augusta, and it looked more like a casual little diner with meh food, especially for the cost. Also, if you want a nice place for a Sunday, I don't recommend as there were crying babies everywhere. Floors looked dirty as well.
It was our second trip. The food is good, for the most part, especially the small plates. The disappointing dish was the blue crab quesadilla. Where was the crab? The soups were good, if a little short on volume, and the tuna carpaccio was excellent, but not a large portion. The garlicky shrimp were fair to good. The $5 martinis were good, though. The service was very good.
Enjoyed the dinner but long lead time to order food from the large plate menu.
I've been here twice and the biggest complaint is that it's extremely busy and the kitchen seems to get backed up. The food is very good - very creative and the presentation is wonderful. They have both small and large plates. As a vegetarian I find several options. My SO is a meat-eater and there are many wonderful options for him also. The atmosphere is high energy - it's an open restaurant with high ceilings so the noise level can get high at times, but not too high.
We needed efficient friendly service before Theatre and they fit the bill. Our waitress was 100% accommodating and the food was delicious!
My husband & I simply love this one of a kind restaurant located here in Augusta GA. The service, food & martinis are always delicious!!
Everything was lovely, but we couldn't talk to each other until we switched to an outdoor table.
This place was awesome. I went with my boyfriend to celebrate late Valentine's day and the server was so friendly and helpful the food was amazing. I will be going back.
We loved the menu, but most of the food we ordered was underseasoned. We had heard great reviews from friends, but it did not meet our expectations. I was brought the wrong wine, it took food an excessive amount of time to come to our table. We ordered one last dish and needed it to be quick, so we went with fries and two sauces. The fries took an additional 30 minutes, came out sweet potato fries, and neither sauce we ordered was on the plate. Very underwhelming for out of town visitors.
Great American breakfast-brunch featuring many of our favorites. Fresh biscuits, bacon, cheese grits, fresh eggs, homemade pancakes, and good coffee.
Food and service were great! Reservations were made and honored
My brother, my aunt and I had dinner at Bee's Knees on Wednesday, Valentine's Day. My aunt was in town after my mom's passing and the holiday happened to fall during our planning. Brooke was our server. The food was phenomenal, and the service was attentive, polite, and friendly. We had an overall great experience. Thank you Brooke!
We had the tuna carpaccio, avocado chop chop (sub crab), crab & artichoke dip, quesadilla, panang, beet/pear/goatchz, amd buffalo tempeh. Drinks were great too!
Food was great and the wait staff very friendly. The only reason why they only received 3 stars for service is that our last two plates appeared to be "forgotten" and therefore we missed enjoying them before we had to dash to a concert. Great spot overall!
I was a little put out when the hostess seated us and advised us that our table had another reservation at 7:30. I had a reservation, too. So, she wanted me to hurry up an eat. Another reservation after mine is her problem, right?
Josh was the most amazing server and energy. He was the icing on top of the cake of delicious food and drink we ordered. Give thanks for a beautiful first experience at The Bee's Knees.
Asdf ASDF ASDF ASDF I have to be in a good way to start a good time for me I have to be in a yyy the other one I lent it was
I was a bit disappointed with the bees knees. Don't get me wrong. It was not bad, it was passable to good, but I just expected more. I had the brunch-wich and it was good... but it could have been scrumptious with 3 thing. 1- good, fresh, artisan bread, not just regular sliced bread. 2- more arugula! Arugula has such great presents and flavor, don't skimp! 3- fruit salad on the side, with fresh fruits. The price I paid was worth the above sandwich, but I didn't get it. The sandwich I got was passable, but far from exceptional.
Also, the staff spoke so quietly, I couldn't even hear them. I understand trying to be cozy, but the hostesses went way too far. I had to ask twice what she said.
Been coming here for years and still enjoy it. Wonderful creative food dishes and great drinks.
So this isn’t my first time to the Bees Knees so I was surprised when the service was less than superb. The waiter never refilled my coffee and by the time they brought our bacon out the food was already cold. Hopefully it was just a one time glitch.
Everything was awesome except for the rowdy group at the bar who must have thought we were in a bar. It was nice when they left. I had the tempeh tacos( always delish!) and the red sangria is amazing!!! I love the Bee’s Knees!!
Long time fan. Good work. Thank you! It is time to start changing out the menu esp tapas
