About

Good times are on tap at this tribute to Western Europe"s classic beer halls, where beers of the world unite in a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere, dominated by a 60-foot long bar. Friends can also gather at a 20-foot long communal table in the center of the 100-seat tavern, which features more than 100 beers by the bottle and 32 on tap, including River City’s own 1904 Brewhouse Ale. The menu offers an eclectic selection of contemporary bar treats, such as Kobe beef sliders, Pot Roast poppers and Crab fritters, plus beer specialty food items designed to share and pair with complementary ales. Nosh on thick and juicy Prime Rib sandwiches, burgers and steaks, while watching your favorite sports teams on flat-screen TVs or enjoying live entertainment.

International flavors are surrounded by hundreds of authentic German beer steins, adding an outrageous, yet elegant, touch to this unique neighborhood hangout open for lunch and dinner five days a week, and late-night.

Terrible service.. didn't have all the food available to order that was on the menu, took 45 minutes to get our food and the restaurant had minimal tables with customers. Food was good but not unique nor outstanding. Would not return.

I took my boyfriend to The Beerhouse for his birthday dinner. We both absolutely loved it! You can't beat the huge craft beer list, awesome appetizers, and variety of main courses. We will definitely be coming back!

The food was Basic Bar Food. If I had to guess mostly frozen food. The beer menu was awesome very good variety.

This was our first visit and we were very impressed with the food and beer selection. The food was delicious and our waitress Erica was wonderful. We had a great time there and will definitely be back.

First time diner. Was very impressed with the prices, food and service. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Everyone's food and alcoholic beverages were excellent. The dipping sauce that came with the Onion Rings was awesome. The portions were huge (doggie bag came home). Can't wait to go back.

Our waitress was a little slow. Once we got our food, Ihad a problem. My lunch was a blackened prime rib sandwich and it had so much pepper, it was nearly impossible to eat. Luckily the portions were large and my sister shared her burger. It was excellent

What a great menu. The pretzel bites with white Wisconsin cheese are the best ever. My dad had a brain sandwich which he said was amazing and they make the BEST turkey burger in STL!

The Beerhouse was far less than we expected.for starters they were out of 2 menu items. Secondly, for a beer house they were out of a fairly common beer. The waitress seemed confused and less than concerned. She left a bottle of beer on the table not mentioning that she had put it there and not leaving a glass or mug or even asking if we wanted one. All in all - disappointing.

We have sent over 50 family and friends to the Beer House.
However, that could change.
We always have raved about the beef ribs.
Can't do that any longer.
The meat usually falls off the bones as you eat them.
This past Wednesday, we had to tug the meat off of the bone.
The prep cooks left the back skins on the ribs. Yuck!

The Beer House was full of energy and a great restaurant. It has many options to meet your parties needs. From a place for two or a great place for parties for more. With great cold stines of beer and all the varites to try. The prices being comparable to other bar and grill places in the area. I would suggest this place to anybody, who would like to try something new and out of the same old hum drum dinner.

After arriving at 1904 Brew house we noticed a huge line to be seated. I notified the hostess that we had a reservation for 4 at 7:30. She informed me that they don't take reservations. I pulled up my e-mail on my Iphone and showed the manager the confirmation I received. He told me that they don't take reservations but honored the reservation anyway.
As far as the food... it was good. Not a large selection. The beer menu was huge though. A very good selection to choose from.

So, I made a reservation on line, and they no longer do the open table. I showed up only to find out that it was like Hoodax, except the food cost more and there was no chicken. This place has a good beer selection, and its in the Casino. If you are looking for a place that is not unique, and a place that is next to the Casino Room, then I highly recommend you coming her.
