Due to Covid regulations and our assurance of social distancing, we have decided to incorporate, The Beauty Shop, our sister music club, Bar DKDC, our newest Back Dō Oasis Patio behind the Beauty Shop and our patio out front of the Beauty Shop.

In addition to the two outdoor igloos, we also now have multiple greenhouses outside to assist in social distancing and outdoor eating even during cold or rainy weather. These can be reserved via outdoor table bookings.

This is one way we can keep social distancing in place and still give all of you a great experience when you come back to see us.
We are looking forward to seeing all of you! We are doing everything we can to make sure your dining experience is comfortable and safe.

We arrived at the restaurant on a Sunday at 1:30pm and the hostess turned us down bc we didn’t have reservations. We explained we were not from Memphis and had taken an Uber from 10 miles away to get there. The hostess and a male waiter stated again they couldn’t do anything. We were about to go somewhere else when I tried Open Table and there were many time slots available. The good is very good, but they include a 20% tip that is not optional. I’d give it a 4 based on the entire experience.

I hate to say it but The Beauty Shop needs a makeover. Or, at the very least, a deep clean. This has been a favorite of mine for a very long time. It's always on my list when friends come to town or if we're celebrating a special occasion. However, the whole place is starting to show its wear and tear. I'd also like to see TBS remove the outdoor "greenhouses" - they served a purpose during the pandemic but now they're just uncomfortable and stuffy. Our meal was fine, our service was outstanding, and we all had a great time. I'm looking forward to going back when they've had a chance to revitalize the space.

We have made Beauty Shop our go to for birthday celebrations and last night was the best one yet. They found us one of their famous glass block booth locations and we love the privacy and intimate setting those provide. Our drinks were spot on and we have a glass of white wine, Bulleit Rye Manhattan, Root Beer and a Mocktail. My wife and I had the steak and fish specials which were two of the best dishes we have ever eaten there and we have had almost everything on the menu. The girls had the Duck and the Lamb Chops and we split the apple/arugula salad. We also started with the famous Monkey Bread which our kids love. All of this was topped off with a great piece of strawberry cake. (their cakes are so good!) The service was awesome as always and both of our girls work at restaurants so they know what good service looks like! Well done Karen and team!

I’m so glad we went here before our tour at Graceland. Being from out of town , this was a perfect lunch place. The food was delicious. Our server was great. Such a fun and unique restaurant. The area of town is pretty cool too.

Honestly, one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! The pork and peaches was beyond delicious. The romanesco cauliflower was exquisite. The flavors were unique but perfectly balanced. Service was excellent, and the cost for the quality of food and service is unbeatable. If I get back to Memphis you’d better believe I’m booking here again!

Had an amazing meal with great service! Wonderful fresh and creative dishes full of flavor and character. I can’t wait to come back and try more! One of my Memphis favorites! The food was outstanding (we both ordered Eggs Benedict -- the crab and asparagus and the pork and peach versions were different, but not weird, and were DELICIOUS. The vibe of the place quite fun. Tables are close together, but we weren't particularly aware of our neighbors' conversations. Our server was a bit inattentive, but I'd chalk that up to (bad) luck of the draw on servers, and that happens sometimes. It wasn't so bad as to ruin our meal, and I think the other servers in general did a better job. Overall -- go! enjoy! You'll be glad you did.

The food and atmosphere were good, but they are highly against customizing, so don’t expect to alter any dish besides a sauce on the side. The staff wasn’t the friendliest, so a smile and positive attitude could enhance the experience. I’d go back, but they would need to put the effort in to get me there a third time
