Nice place tucked away right on the oven. Lunch was great, reasonable and generous portions. Nice staff.
This place closed at 8:00 and when we arrived for our reservation the kitchen was closed! Update your Covid hours- everyone else has! We ended up eating grocery food for dinner for our last night in Maui!
Delicious food and amazing service!! Poke bowl was super yummy. Server was exceptional and even gave us a bag of ice since our freezer was broken.
Always great service and a great view. The food is excellent—from appetizers to entrees. The wine selection continues to dwindle—hitting less than 1 in 3 on the bottle list actually available, with mostly low end remaining. But Gary makes a mean Mai Tai so all is well in the end!
We had reservations and the restaurant had zero capability to manage their commitments. Just didn’t look like a nice place to eat.
Awesome restaurant for families. Waiter was prompt - food was awesome - location was great. I highly recommend
Nice little spot! They have a fish tank and a nice view. The waiters were pretty slammed, which made it feel like they were rushed like taking orders in a busy diner. If service isn’t important for you (we thought it was kinda funny), then I’d recommend.
It’s good for the price, the view is great.
Was a great place to go with kids with an ocean view
Awesome local spot...
Service was good. Food lacking from our previous year’s experience. Steaks were not cooked as ordered all over cooked but eatable.
The restaurant was generic and the staff seemed confused about what they were doing. The food was okay, nothing special. The ambiance was more like a Denny’s than a restaurant in Kaanapali , HI.
Despite making a reservation, the staff did not seat us due to very limited seating from COVID and a skeleton crew. After waiting 30-40 min, we were forced to find a take out for our young children.
Please do not go here.
December 2020- DON’T MAKE A RESERVATION HERE DURING COVID. THEY’RE ACTUALLY NOT ACCEPTING OPEN TABLE RESERVATIONS AT ALL RIGHT NOW. We learned the hard way.
Beautiful location for breakfast or sunset dining. There was a Hawaiian singer who added to the ambiance. I made a mistake and ordered the “mixed plate “. It arrived and nothing was hot-it was as if it was already prepared and was sitting out. The fish was warm and was okay as was the chicken-although barely warm-and the pork, one of my favorites, was room temp and not too tasty. I didn’t eat it. I should have sent it back. My friend ordered the same and loved it! My wife’s fish was good and cooked for her. The other friend liked her dinner too.
Love it at the beach club
Great food and service!
Service was excellent, but the food was not good. Overcooked shrimp and soggy flatbread
The food was decent but the poor server was all alone. He was doing the job of the host and serving and busing and bar tending. The view was amazing. That restaurant use to be really good and a great value. I hope after the pandemic they can improve the service.
The restaurant was closed. Open Table confirmed reservations at a closed restaurant.
One guy was bartender and waiter for the whole restaurant, but he got it all done. Good food, and service. Aston guests can request a 20% off card from your front desk.
We actually didn’t even eat there. We arrived for our reservation. There were 4 people at the bar, people at 3 tables without waters even. 2 people waiting outside and the guy (bartender) inside said he was the only one. He would get around to sitting us when he could.
wonderful location near the water, great service, moderately priced menu, fun place
The restaurant had just opened due to Coronavirus. The restaurant only had ONE waiter on staff who also had to be bartender and busboy. It was ridiculous how busy he was. He (Gary) was great and did a great job but he was completely overwhelmed. Management did a poor job on staffing. The food took forever as well. We understood due to just reopening. Just hope that they take staffing into consideration.
Gary got 5 stars!
It was a lovely place for lunch. We had the papaya salad with fresh, blackened Mahi Mahi and the onion rings. It was delicious and the views were incredible! Our server was great! We were on the way to see the Blowhole and this was a perfect place on the way there!
Very relaxing and nice view
This restaurant is more for family dining! Service was very good.
I would never go back to this restaurant.
Food had no taste and wasn't fresh.
The food was terrible. It was craft mac and cheese and cheap skinny chicken and capers. Will not go Back.
The food was good. The service was barely adequate with the server starting out by brusquely asking “Any questions?” No welcoming, no introduction. When we ordered, he failed to ask what kind of dressing on the salad, and what kind of cheese on the burger. We didn’t notice until the food arrived and included whatever the server apparently decided we should have. No bread was offered (although other tables received it) until we asked. He did stop by to ask if the food was good, and to refill our beverages. But first impressions are lasting impressions and we probably won’t be back.
Very disappointed overall. I will no longer use open table for suggestions. Our waiter was terrific. The food was inedible.
Service was impersonal and poor. Food was just ok - at best. Ambience not good. I would NOT SUGGEST. We had reservations and still had to wait in an empty restaurant. Finally got seated and after 10 minutes the waiter cam by and asked us if we had any questions and expected us to place our order - before we ordered drinks. Never again.
Great food; great servers.
Ambiance was wonderful and the food was delicious! Our service was exceptional and delightful! We will definitely return on our next trip!
The food was excellent. We especially enjoyed the barbeque ribs. We had a great view of the sunset over the ocean.
Very warm in there, but cooled down as the sun set
My husband and I enjoyed our last honeymoon dinner at the Beach Club. There was live Hawaiian music with some Christmas tunes thrown in and the sound of waves crashing in the background. The service was great and the food was very tasty. My only recommendation to the restaurant is to add a note to your sriracha guava wings about how HOT they are! I thought the guava would sweeten them up but I couldn’t even eat 1! My poor husband ate all of them and his whole body was on fire - and he even likes spicy! Lol! Otherwise everything was great. Thank you and Mele Kalikimaka!
Food was very, very mediocre ... and not cheap. Clearly a place you only go to if you are staying at this hotel and are too tired to venture off property!
This is the only place I can get a Hawaiian omelet - ham, Swiss and pineapple! I love it!
