Staff is nice. Food mediocre. Not worth reservations
Very nice. Good food. Good drinks. Good view.
Food was good. Service was great. It was very hot and humid. More for casual dining than a nice meal.
We had just arrived in Maui….first thing on the agenda was “Time to Eat!”
Fish Tacos and Kalua pork flatbread were delish! Drinks from the bar were served super quickly. Our server was attentive and super sweet. I’m glad we went here!
Jordan was the highlight of our dinner. He was funny and sincere. Our table cooked in the sun and didn’t have any air flow so we were a little warm.
The recommended food at happy hour was all fried. Onion rings and coconut shrimp were over-cooked.
The ahi poke bowl was ok… like a tuna tower but without the avocado and crab. No lettuce. All rice, some onion and ahi cubes.
Drinks were average at-best. We had better food from the local food trucks.
Not bad for a poolside grill.
We had a fantastic waiter, Ben. We received our food quickly and had wonderful service, however we had another group with us at a separate table and they had quite the opposite of an experience. They had arrived about 5 minutes before us and by the time we were done eating and had paid our bill, they were still waiting for their food. They brought out the food and it was the wrong order. Our waiter Ben stepped in to help and tried his best to make sure they were taken care of. Unfortunately one meal was wrong and it took 3 times to bring the correct order.
Food was mediocre, service was horrible, but the view was amazing. Server TOTALLY messed up basically everything we ordered. The menu is pretty basic, and the House Bufger I ordered was EXTREMELY overdone and nothing special. Drinks were pretty watery and overly sweet. Overall only thing special was the view, which have to say was pretty spectacular.
Had special butter fish. Best ever. Gary our server was excellent
The worst place - not very clean , horrible service . We actually walked out after being seated
We checked in for our reservation on time, were told we didn’t need a reservation since they had many empty tables, then after being seated learned they were no longer serving breakfast (reasonable at 11:30) , and the lunch menu was unappetizing. We thanked the waitress but let her know we were leaving as we really wanted breakfast. We tried to change a $20 at the bar so we could at least leave a small tip for the trouble but there was nobody at the bar. Next thing I know, they erroneously report me to OoenTable as a no-show. Do yourself a favor and eat at Slappy Cakes instead. It’s a stone’s throw away (walking distance) and their breakfast was amazing as was the service. But they do close at noon!
Nice spot! Great friendly staff, yummy food and drinks, kid friendly.
Food wasn’t very good. Service was ok. Dining room was run down.
The food quality was poor and the service was VERY slow. After waiting 20 minutes we had to ask for a server to take our order.
Mamas s s nsmsnsns s and sd d d dn
Food was just diner food. Hosts were rude, I go red is, did no acknowledge reservations, threw menu on table, bugs in bathroom. Don’t go.
Forgettable. Poor service, not great food. This was a disappointment.
The hostess kept the phone on high volume & it was ringing the whole time we ate. The food was overpriced for what you got. It tasted okay but nothing special. It’s convenient if you are staying at Kaanapali Shores. I wouldn’t make a special trip there otherwise.
Great breakfast & excellent service!
It’s really just a pool bar. Great location and view for sunset but fairly lackluster food and service.
Great service. Fish was good but overcooked. Prices were fair
Decor was worn and needing an upgrade. We sat inside but the railing and tent was blocking any possible view. The server was very friendly but the food and drinks were not very good.
Food was mediocre- staff was not very attentive
The staff here went above and beyond for us. Nearly every restaurant on the island is full and not accepting reservations. They made it happen for us and got us a table at the time we wanted with a party of 6. Beautiful atmosphere as the restaurant overlooks the beach with amazing sunsets. It was great for kids as they could run around outside if necessary and had enough entertainment inside including a fish tank. Would highly recommend for families with small children. Mainly the servers worked their tails off. It was super busy and they just worked harder. Drinks were delicious and couldn't believe how low the bill was. Fantastic place.
The service was acceptable but the food was poor. Very little flavor. No spices or sauces to make it delicious. People walking through the dining room in bathing suits. Weird.
Very friendly server , excellent salad and beautiful setting!
Great food but service q bit slow. Server never came to check on us after we got our food. We had to flag her down for our check as well.
This was more casual than we thought it would be. The food was good and the service (Karen) was really good. She was very personable and efficient.
Prime rib was excellent. Server was great.
The butter fish and seared ahi were excellent. The remaining portions were upscale diner food but tasty . There was an oder of raw sewage that occasionally swept through even though the restaurant is open to the outdoors.
The waiter provided excellent service and made great suggestions both for dinner and other local activities/dinning.
Nothing too special but good for a more casual and less pricey dinner. Still got an ocean view and great service but the food wasn’t incredible.
Great all around
For the area, the prices were decent. It was loud, but we were given a table in the corner of the deck so it was ok.
Odd menu for a Hawaiian beachfront restaurant. Chicken Marsala was decent, but lacked some of the flavor you would expect. The flatbread pizza was average but certainly edible. Don’t expect fine dining. The ambiance is typical beachfront, the food is closer to diner fare.
Bar food menu. Waited for service forever, 4th try before they had a wine available. I lost count on how many times the waiter said sorry!
This place had the worst food we experienced during our entire trip. The staff was very friendly and the service was good, but our fish and chips were awful. Also, the whole place needs a refurbishment....the resort and the restaurant. We almost left when we arrived and decided to give it try but then regretted it almost immediately.
Nice location with ocean views but avoid going near sunset, since the sun reflects off the pool and into your eyes.
Service was fast.....too fast we had our entrees about 3 minutes after being served our mai tai’s, making it impossible to take the time to enjoy them over some conversation.
Lots of small children and families with lots of gleeful screaming,....lots.
BTW, the food (opa) was delicious and prices very fair.
Very old, no view of the beach, just 3 tables that look out over an old pool. Should have been updated 20 years ago.
The service was wonderful, the food not only came quickly but it was great!
