Bazaar by Jose de Andres is an experience. The food which come in small bite tapas are delcious. The original cocktails are also very good. The only negative aspect of the dining experience is the decor. It is tired and doesn't correlate with the quality of the food. The price is also a bit exuberant. To command these prices you like to dine in a much nicer space. From our table we could see evey person entering and exiting the hotel. Not exactly the dining experience one would expect at a tony/pricey restaurant.
Our favorite restaurant in Miami. We have been coming for 10 years and have never been disappointed. I recommend the burrata and tomato dish, dragon fruit ceviche, squid ink pasta and table side Caipirinha! You will not find more attentive staff or knowledgeable servers anywhere else . Don’t miss this culinary experience.
Great space, so vibrant and intimate at the same time. The food was everything I expected. The real experience was the outstanding service provided by the waiters. Javi was our main guy and made our experience way better by telling us about the whole menu and letting us know his favorites and what he thought we might like. A+.
Waiter forgot our order. We were seated way off in a corner. The food was disappointing as well. Would not return.
Excellent food and service. Unique tapas menu. Unforgettable culinary experience
We went there my mother’s 65th birthday. She was not disappointed! From the moment we arrived to the time we left. The service was amazing! The food was delicious, outstanding and flavorful! I would definitely recommend and come back.
Excellent meal and service, one of the best meals we have had in a while. We are the tasting menu and we’re impressed and pleased with the variety of dishes, the presentation, and our service. Everything was delightful and the staff were top notch.
Not good at all. Terrible food and service. Really overpriced. I have been to two of his other restaurants in DC and Beverly Hills and loved them. This one is terrible.
Excelentes tapas gourmet con deliciosos sabores y texturas. Imperdible la tortilla española "líquida", el gazpacho y los ostiones con caviar y oro.
My wife and I went to South Beach for a weekend getaway with the Pandemic madness and election driving us crazy. The Bazaar was one of the brightest, and most fun, parts of our weekend. We're most definitely recommend the restaurant and we plan to dine here again.
Wow is all i can say. The flavor Bazaar packs into foam is beyond what 99% of restaurants could do if they were handed Kobe. Had an amazing culinary adventure! Can’t wait to be back!
We decided to try the Bazaar to celebrate our 3 years of marriage: a great decision for a memorable event.
We tried the tasting menu for food and wine, great pairings and the best fusions I’ve ever tried. I appreciate the effort of the Chefs and really celebrate the flavors and textures in every dish.
The service was amazing, thank you Nelson for making our day an interesting one! The person in charge of the wines is amazing too (I’m sorry I forgot your name buddy but you are so knowledgeable of the wines and we lived your recommendations).
The music and decor did not match the amazing food that we tried, I think this is something they might change over the time.
We are definitely visiting Jose’s restaurants when we visit other cities, it’s worth an special visit.
Food amazing! Very diversified
Friends birthday which waiter never mentioned it and it was in the reservation. Brought the wrong food. Was a disappointed experience
Our server Louis was amazing. Food was fantastic!
Not helpful at all.
Food was nothing special - felt like it was premade.
NOT worth it!!! I love good food and this was BAD.
Delicious, innovative place. Totally interesting menu, although because it's tapas-style, it's very difficult to get a handle on quantities.
Amazing food and very good service, but the ambiance was not up to expectation. Noisy and lots of people constantly walking by.
An adventurous and tasty menu enhanced by a hip scene - the watermelon skewers, coconut rice and Neptune’s Pillow - amazing and delicious creations.
The Bazaar is a very unique restaurant that has a great tapas menu. The food was delicious and innovative.
The staff was friendly and helpful. We felt safe eating outdoors. The food was delicious and we received complimentary champagne since we were celebrating our anniversary. Next time I would go during the week hoping for less people.
An excellent menu with unique and exciting flavours expertly blended and paired. Attentive, knowledgable and friendly staff
Outstanding evening. We did their Miami Spice menu and were blown away not only by the quantity (5 courses!) but more importantly the quality and ingenuity of the choices within each course. Bazaar obviously is proud to be a major participant in Spice. Service was also outstanding, thank you Javier M for your explanations and recommendations, and for making our evening so enjoyable. This was our #1 Spice experience this year, and we visited 7 highly rated restaurants. Very highly recommended!
Great ambience, lovely waiter, and delicious food!!
The service and food were excellent. We had the tasting menu to experience all the different flavors and it was worth it. The only thing a little strange is that the dinning room is located between the lobby and the pool area so the guests have to go thru the dinning area to access the lobby or pool.
Food was outstanding. Server gave is his recommendations from an expansive menu and it sure didn’t disappoint. Although I bet any choice would have been superb. Best meal had in a long time!
Amazing dishes with incredible flavors. This is our second visit and like the first time, loved everything. We’ll be back many more times.
Service, room and food quality were outstanding. Be prepared for Miami “strip” pricing.
Vibrant scene and great food! Great for people watching!
Perfect for a family dinner or date.
I would have very much liked to leave a 5-star review for this restaurant because of the reputation that Chef José Andrés has worldwide in addition to his humanitarian efforts through WCK. We chose this restaurant because it is part of the Miami Spice Restaurants Month. We planned on going there just for the $39 3-course prix fixe menu but ended up spending $300 after taxes and service charge because there were so many things we wanted to try. The initial experience was great as we were greeted politely by the hostess and were seated briefly after checking in. Then our server, Louis, came and greeted us which followed by water service and taking our drink order. The drinks took some time to come but that was fine because that gave Louis the time to give us a rundown of the menu. Once we placed the order, I would say that is when it started to go downhill. Mainly it has to do with the timing of every course. It took a while for the first course to arrive and each subsequent course seem to have taken 10 minutes in between. Keep in mind, most of the initial course were 1-bite sized food, so it didn't take but a few seconds to eat them. When it finally came the time for the most substantial food (carnes y mariscos), not only did both entrees didn't come out at the same time, we were told that the fish we ordered well over an hour ago was sold out. How could that have happened in a restaurant this caliber? So, we had to choose something else. Then, we waited for probably close to 20 minutes for the deserts which we actually left without ever getting them. I would say that our server and the manager on duty handled the situation at the end as professionally as possible and I give them credit for that. However, if this had happened at a 3-star restaurant, I would have forgiven them and gave a higher star review. I don't know where the breakdown occurred , but at a 5-star restaurant on South Beach, we should have received a 5-star experience every time.
It was a very nice night! Johnny and the other waiter were very attentive and descriptive and provide us with good advices to pick up the right tapas. The ceviche is incredible and definitively a must have.
Definitively recommend for a date or a special occasion! It was very nice to share tapas and discover the different flavors from Jose Andres cuisine!
We had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing.
We indulged in the tasting menu. It’s was absolutely delightful. Each plate was unique and executed well. Cocktail service was a bit slow but not enough to hinder our good time. We would gladly return in the future.
The.... well the everything is s
The food was inventive and eclectic. I wished there was something that amazed with its flavor. Everything was good, but not great. Presentation of dishes were impeccable.
Since I lived in Spain...I was really looking for a couple dishes. Particularly the national dish of Spain... tortilla española. But they were out of that dish (mostly potatoes & eggs) and were also out of at least 4 or 5 other dishes.
So I’d suggest printing some new menus (definitely with a larger font) that remove 86 items.
We were sat immediately by the entrance and has mentioned it was both our first time to the restaurant and my companion’a first time in Miami. But I don’t believe anyone read that note.
Overall, I expected next level with service, decor, food all around for the ~$250 meal we had.
I was disappointed that nothing blew me away with excitement.
Went to support the restaurant. I felt the food was not as good as always in the past.I'm guessing the chef was not there.
