I expected more from this dining experience. I’m a big fan of chef Andres, but for a dinner for two that came up just shy of 400 this was a disappointment. Yes the visual aspect was unique and original, and the whimsical design of the restaurant was interesting and original, but the food lacked the attention to detail in the taste department. Food was over salted and under temperature. Lastly, the restaurant is a thoroughfare from the pool area, so while dining you see half naked people in bathing suits walking back and forth. This restaurant has true potential, but needs help.
Stellar service, unbelievably creative and delicious dishes and a very cool ambiance. Chose the tasting menu and was so impressed. Best dinner out in Miami yet!
Truly a culinary experience. The service was impeccable as well!
Ghetto crowd! In a ghetto hotel! Bazaar tries to be innovative, but rubs as off the color of flash with no substance. I left so disappointed and hungry after spending $$$. The service was horrible, small expensive portions that takes forever to arrive and a crappy atmosphere! Avoid this restaurant!
By far my favorite restaurant in Miami- I have lost count how many times I have eaten here! Cocktails are incredible and the food is mind blowing. I live in NYC so that says a lot. Do not eat at The Bazaar without getting the coconut rice, black rossejat, dragonfruit ceviche and Cuban coffee churrasco steak. One of the best restaurants anywhere EVER!
Horrible experience food was horrible so not recommend
Everything was fabulous. We did the tasting menu and it was loads of food for the price- great value! Our server was wonderful and made our night fun and easy. Go here!!
No flow to the tasting menu. Have to wait 15-20 minutes between each course. And by course I mean bite sized nibblets, which is fine if they keep coming. By the end of the meal I just wanted to be out of there. Very noisy and busy venue. Main hotel thoroughfare goes through Bazaar dining room. I guess that’s why it’s called “bazaar”. There are better high end places out there. I wouldn’t come back.
Terrible restaurant, so disappointing. I never write these kind of reviews, but it was that bad of an experience I have to warn others! (Read on why)
First, I booked this restaurant 3 months ago and they seated us in the middle of the hotel lobby (SLS) in an alley which was made for servers where they randomly put a tiny table. There is only one nice room but they refused to seat us there even when there was the same size table available as our “makeshift spot”. Our group was all dressed up, all live in London or NYC, and have never been treated this way.
Second, the food was terrible. Do not read any reviews of a culinary experience because I can only guarantee you beyond average food. The tapas was absolutely tiny for the $$$$ prices. I looked into the prices before but thought the quality of food and “experience” would make up for the price. It did not....
Third, the hostesses. Although the waiting staff were great, the hostesses were cold, not helpful and could careless when we expressed our disappointment. We mentioned that the ambience was terrible in our location in the hotel lobby - they truly expressed zero concern.
I read so many reviews on this place and could not have been more disappointed.
Our server Ryan was the absolute jewel of the entire evening. He very graciously walked us through the menu and filtered any question or concern we had throughout the meal without waiver. We even had several other tables around us listening in on the discussions we were having around the menu items to help aid them in their own meal planning. Bazaar is truly fortunate to have him with them. The caviar cone was delicious, and the stuffed piquillo peppers were particularly unique and special. I would also suggest lending your flexibility around your cocktail choices to your waiter as the menu has a large breadth of unique offerings.
Nickel and dime restaurant strategy when you order the tasting menu
Food was pretty good and the ambiance, too. Certainly a place to enjoy the food and the company
Amazing plates to share everything.
Must try is the pasta paella.
You know this is one of my TOP favorite restaurants in Miami Beach, this time we had the 10 course Menu de Clasicos which features 10 of the beat dishes on the menu, as always just amazing ❤️ @bazaarbyjose @slssouthbeach

Our server was terrible and ruined the experience for us. He was rude and cursed at me after we asked him why he was so upset about bringing us bread. We spent nearly $400 and left hungry and angry. Too many good restaurants in Miami to waste your time here.
This is been my daughter's favorite place for quite a few years and she finally got us to go. It was wonderful! She was right. Our friends joined us and we chose our favorite dishes and shared. There were so many delightful flavors!
We did the tasting menu. Everything was amazing. Taste. Presentation.
Amazing food. Great ambiance. Perfect for a date night dinner
Beautiful restaurant, knowledgeable waiters, attentive staff, great with sending out food a little at a time to enjoy
Good..! It used to be much much better than what you get today…!
We celebrated our anniversary. The dinner was lovely! If you are going to try the tasting experience, come hungry! We got to full to eat all of the courses!!
The evening began with the most ignorant hostess ever and progressed to a more inept GM than I’ve ever seen. The $15 oysters had more shells than if I picked them off the beach. Timing on food delivery was terrible. When I spoke with GM he was so indignant it made me sick and I asked for the check and left. The GM and hostess should never be allowed in the service business. They are clueless. The food was subpar at best. Don’t spend your money here as it’s wasted. Better off going to Chick-fil-A or BK. I never leave reviews like this but these people and their service deserve it. Don’t know Jose Andres but my advice is get your head in the game or your name off this place. Absolutely terrible!
UPDATE: Received a half-hearted email from the restaurant apologizing and provided my cell number for follow up. That was 3 days ago. This place is riding on a name. Seen it before. The arrogance is astounding. I get it that this review will never reach diners. Sad but true. No need to call cause you really don’t care to improve.
FURTHER UPDATE: I was contacted by management regarding my experience. It was less than pleasant. I was told they would review video of the night and get back to me. Crazy! Who does this with a customer. Anyway, I followed up and conveniently they told me where I was sitting there was no video coverage. Oh boy. Listen folks, my experience with both food and service was terrible. Check my reviews. I am fair and complimentary 99% of the time. This restaurant was a total service and food failure. The call from management was a textbook attempt to blame the customer. Sorry but you encountered the wrong patron. Jose - you need to get involved in the service in Miami cause it’s not good.
The waiter was well versed in the menu and Jose Andres biography. He did an excellent job suggesting items and leading us through the diverse menu. The food was remarkable, without exception. The room was gorgeous, though it was a little odd having pool traffic pass through, but that was just a minir distraction.
Had the tasting menu which was fabulous! Paired with some great starter cocktails and then wine made it perfect!! Very energetic restaurant!
Bravo! Good food awesome service!
Excellent food. Well rounded and varied menu. We sat in the patio and it was great. The service was also great with our waiter guiding us through appropriate quantities.
Always very nice
Expensive but absolutely delicious. The chefs menu is perfect.
Amazing food with good service, but needs to improve.
Food took over 2 hours, but great service!
Service was a bit off. Not a big deal, but, just really slow on refills.
The food quality definitely outweighs the slow service. I would go back.
The most amazing restaurant in South Beach. I leave the restaurant joyous every time I am able to eat there.
We ordered the chef’s choice. A taste of everything. We loved it all
Amazing place, amazing food, amazing service by Martin (he knew exactly what we wanted and gave top recommendations). This is a top place in Miami and I recommend it 100%.
My favorite South Beach restaurant. I try to eat here every time I visit.
Delicious Tapas style restaurant.
Fave dishes: Shrimp, scallops, octopus
Service was attentive
Try one of the specialty cocktails
Energetic outdoor seating area
Fantastic dinner experience! Unique and oppulent
We have been here prior, and Bazaar never fails to exceed our expectations. The tasting menu is exceptional and represents a truly elevated gastronomic experience. The staff are extremely knowledgable and attentive.
Best tapas in Miami Beach. Creative cuisine, great presentation, outstanding service. They try to accommodate your needs. Great and extensive wine list.
A must visit in Miami Beach.
