The Bazaar by José Andrés South Beach
Dining transcends into fête extraordinaire as guests enjoy a collection of imaginative culinary experiences that offer pioneering delicacies and delicious libations. A story in contrasts, The Bazaar menu blends tradition and ingenuity in true Spanish style and mixes them with influences from South Beach’s local Latin flavors and rich history.

From the time we were sat we did not receive any food for close to one hour. There was no bread, amuse-bouche Or anything of the like and our food took an incredibly long time to come out. We then got a number of items at the very end all clumped together, so the overall dining experience was not ideal and a bit frustrating. For the hype and prices it was not a fine dining experience
My girlfriend and I both had the tasting menu. There were 2 items that were very good - none that were excellent - and the vast majority of items were just not very good. I live in NYC so perhaps I am spoiled with great food. But this food was truly less than middle of the road.
The service was also missing a beat. A key on tasting menu service is timing. The timing here was off. The best restaurants - Per Se or 11 Madison in NY - make the tasting menu seem like a magical experience. The courses just seem to come at the right time and there is enough room (some planned with a palate cleanser and some with a few minutes to digest) between courses to let you enjoy the fading aromas. Here, there were multiple times that one course landed on top of the other. There was never a palate cleanser. The whole experience felt rushed.
interesting good tasting food, portions small and very expensive
Original varied tapas menu. Interesting Displays of food with super service.
It never disappoints
One of the best meals I’ve had - wine recommendations were spot on. The service staff was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this place while in Miami.
Best dining experience in a very long time. We took the Chef’s menu recommendation. It was perfect. Course after course came in a rhythmic procession. Each unique, explosively flavorful and with a touch of magic that felt like experiencing an art exhibit for dinner.
Great experience will go back again
Amazing food and service.
Perfect experience from start to finish! Thank you to Javier who was spot on for everything! Beautiful restaurant, incredible, professional staff, excellent service, delicious, flavorful food—bite after bite. I’ll be here again. My south beach favorite! Well done 🥂
We went there twice in 3 days and the service and food is exceptional. We come here once a year on our travels from the UK.
A South Beach relevant restuarant. Trendy, sophisticated, inventive in food, decor and style. Plenty of helpful staff offering good recommendations about the artful tapas selections. The food creations were a culinary taste sensation. The caviar cones with a gold topping, Asian street fair, coffee rubbed skirt steak, and watermelon skewers were served without rush allowing us to enjoy the flavors. Expensive but certainly worth it.
I did a bunch of research before coming to SoBe to take my husband out for his birthday. I was completely underwhelmed. The food was meh. The service was good. However, as a treat they us a free dessert, but it wasn’t the one my husband ordered. So he had to eat two desserts. Who does that?! I would give this place a pass. Spend (a LOT of) money elsewhere. Not worth the price. Thumbs down.
Outstanding experience. Inventive food well served. Expensive? Yes. But worth it. Menu items that one would not find elsewhere. You must go with a sense of foodie adventure and try things like foie gras PB&J—who would guess that would work. Sharing of plates and tasting new things encouraged. S’mores dessert prompted thoughts of wanting to try it at home-it was that cool (although flaming).
Excellent menu with large amount of dishes drawing inspiration from across the world. Paella and Singapore street food were highlights. Very good flamingo shuttle cocktail.
Food was incredible!
The food is excellent, the main room looks very nice, unfortunately we were in the first room and we had very uncomfortable chairs and I had to share my space with a gigantic column, the entrance door is right next to the tables and every time somebody walks in the wind sweeps into the room. When you book ask for the main room and not the one next to the entrance other than that the menu is fantastic.
It is one of our all time favorites. Always a fantastic dining experience.
You cannot get bored at this place - Excellent!
Food was very good for the most part. One course was blah but the rest were mostly on point. Tommy was an amazing sever. He was spontaneous, courteous, knowledgeable, and very pleasant in demeanor. My only real complaint was my table, but it was enough to not give a 5 star review. My wife and I were seated in the middle of a small banquet flanked very closely by two more small tables. I felt like I was dining with 4 strangers, not to mention the proximity of the door leading outside. The door to the patio was almost as annoying as having to hear every word our neighbors said. Both tables used there phone lights to read the menu and when they were approached by their server, those light were pointed right at me and my wife. Those lights were close as our tables were about a foot apart. Not all the seating was like this and we were definitely jealous of those with much better tables. For a restaurant of this caliber to think that our seating was ok may keep me from coming back. It’s the details folks, and those details matter. Instead of a $500 plus romantic dinner with my wife, I got a $500 dinner with my wife and 4 annoying strangers.
Nice food with better service in a very bland decor, all wrapped up with cafeteria seating (for some).
I wish there was a 5+ option as 5 is not good enough. We had such a hard time choosing so we had almost everything The Kueh pai ti and the dragonfruit ceviche which were amazing. The gazpacho was divine. We then had the spicy tuna cones- Brussels spouts - water melon skewers- yellow tail hamachi - creamy coconut rice - fish en papilotte- octopus romesco- Cuban coffee rubbed churassco. Everything and I mean everything was amazing. We finished with the foie gras PB & J which is heavenly. I can’t recommend The Bazaar at SLS South Beach enough! The staff are all amazing. The girls welcome us back every time. The waiters always make us feel important. Another wonderfully amazing dinner with family and friends. Thank you
The place is wonderful and the Ultimate Menu was delicious! Thank you Martin for your kindness!!
AC cold on right side.
Food not hot.
Food as usual very good.
The experience was perfect. My only negative thing to say is that our server appeared to try to rush us - they brought many of the tapas dishes out together only ~10 minutes or so after we placed the order. The rest of the meal was paced better.
Mediocre food and service in a hotel lobby on a Saturday night. Definitely not a “Michelin” experience for anyone actually familiar eating in Michelin-Star restaurants. Some dishes were cold, others poorly executed. The restaurant, which is located in the Miami port authority of hotel lobby’s, seemed more concerned about creating a “scene” than a high quality food and dining experience.
only negative feedback is their is a heavy fish stench, everything else was great!
Never disappointed after making this an annual MUST while visiting South Beach.
Amazing. Love the croquetas and the patatas bravas!
Amazing food and service. Our server,Javier, was outstanding! An excellent experience!
Excellent asian/ Spanish fusion tapas. Also, a great cocktail menu. Make sure to try the pork buns and the conch fritters.
Very much a “scene”. The table was not ready.
We waited for 25 minutes
The hostess never came back to get us so I eventually found her again and got the table.
Noisy, crowded and a lack of attentive service although the server tried his best.
Excellent food though.
They forgot two of our dishes
We make a point to come back here every time we are in Miami
Dinner at bizarre is a special experience. Lunch is good and it’s tasty but not as special. .
What a cool place! I wanted to order one of everything to just see the presentation. The eel taco and the jamón ibérico Fermín were the highlights!
Great food and service. Ordered about 8 tapas and each one was flavorful and nicely presented. The ultimate gin tonic and salt air margarita were refreshing. Would recommend this place.
Impressive main dining room, and good food. Service was great too. The manager was very accommodating.
One of our favorite restaurants in the world. Inventive and delicious. Never disappoints.
