Starters were average, mains were good however the only standout dishes were the daily specials.
The food was absolutely delicious and very creative! The dink menu was equally creative and delicious! And the service was attentive, professional and very friendly.
Service was over-attentive at first, and then we seemed to be forgotten.
My favourite spot in LA. Food, presentation, service, and atmosphere are great. Always try to visit when I'm in town.
Food and service were outstanding! Presentation and taste of the food was amazing! Wait staff was helpful and attentive! Would love to return when I’m back in town.
We had a wonderful evening at The Bazaar! Everything from start to finish was excellent. The service (from host, waiter, servers) cocktails, wine list, and then of course the food were exceptional. We went for a birthday celebration and let them know in advance, and they treated our birthday guest so well. Can't wait to go back!
Great service, food , ambience
I've loved this place every time I've visited. The food is fantastic and inventive. Service is professional and it's always a fun scene. Go here with an out of towner or foodie to give them a memorable experience with the sexier and tastier side of LA.
We had a lovely time. Food was incredible. Everyone said happy birthday to my girlfriend. The presentation of the cocktails was spectacular. Overall a wonderful experience
It was great! We ordered the Tasting Menu and the food was literally flying out the kitchen! But the waitress let us know in advance that the food were coming from like four different kitchens but we wish that they follow the menu in order and not so randomly. Also, when we suggested drinks to eat with the food the waitress seams to know nothing and was guessing around.
The food (THE most important part) EXCELLENT! The drinks, amazing! What a great experience! My husband and I had a wonderful time.
Went in 2009 during the opening weeks and worried being disappointed. I was not. We were recommended 10 tapas by our great waiter and finished sharing amazing desserts. It’s an unique place where your palate is consistently and positively challenged. I loved in particular the guacamole, fois gras with a twist and the philly steak tapas.
The air salt margarita is pricey but amazing.
The entire team was knowledgeable and gracious with their knowledge! A wonderful and delightful time! Will continue to bring clients here! Thank you!
I have been at the bazaar at Miami, meats in Las Vegas the food and service was great, the bazaar in LA was a big disappointment for the service and quality of food (jamón serrano de bellota) , sadly
Beautiful food, beautiful restaurant, and friendly servers. However, all the food seemed to be a little on the salty side and service was a little patchy.
I guess we expected superior performance as we had had it recommended by a few friend. However, if it wasn’t for the really kind and professional hostess and servant had had during the evening, then we would have been disappointed. The food was medium but not great, and the surroundings at little like a bad IKEA / canteen environment. The check, two persons ended at almost 300$ included 2 glasses of wine and 2 cocktails. It wasn’t impressing.
New wedding ring for my wife of 12.5 years.
The first time that the notes I leave in the booking on Open Table was paid attention to. They noted the quiet table we wanted, the knew us by name, and they had a card for our wedding anniversary waiting for us!
Too too noisy at the dinner table we were seated on our date for two between 2 tables of 6 and 4 all girls who spoke louder every 5 mins there were more tables free but the waiter did not offer us a change!! We could hardly hear him between all the cackling . So for us on a romantic date it was not the ideal place . We were then escorted to our dessert table where the waitress wasn’t so smiley and when i asked to take a picture of my magic mojito she more or less rolled her eyes to the ceiling i know she does that all night with people asking her to take a picture of the lovely innovative cocktails but its her job!!!! We were not made welcome at the dessert side !!!!
The food was not as good as it used to be. It seems that the place lost its luster. Still solid just not worth the price anymore.
Bazaar is my favorite restaurant in LA...food is amazing, ambience is fun and love anything that Chef Jose Andres does...on the culinary and humanitarian front. Always wonderful to support someone who not only has an amazing product, but also is doing so much good in the world
Amazing food, innovative and delicious!
Everything was awesome.
Food is excellent.
Service is good.
Price is little high.
But we have good time.
We went for my cousin’s birthday. We left it up to the chef to surprise us. The tapas were spectacular!!
Just overpriced Spanish food below any fine dining you would find in Spain
My husband and I truly enjoyed our dinner. Everything was so delicious! We ordered Japanese taco, octopus toast, hokkaido scallop ceviche, bagle & lox cone, american caviar cone, and crab cake special. Also you must try majic mojito!!
Food, environment, and service was excellent. Music choice is however rather tasteless.
Entertained friends from out-of-town. They are Foodies and have
eaten at several of Jose Andres restaurants so we thought they
we appreciate the Bazaar. Lovely ambiance, attentive serve,
tasty food. A grand time was had be all.
A memorable meal and dinner experience! I look forward to returning again.
Two words- Dessert Graffiti. Do it
This was A Birthday present for my Wife, We went to LA for A birthday weekend and I wanted to take her somewhere special for a birthday dinner, This place was just amazing, Our Waitress her name was Precious, Was so knowledgeable on the food menu Everything she explained too us was exactly the way it was when we got our food, We opted for the Omakase Menu, Which is 14 different items Of Two, so you get the taste 14 different things, My wife is more of a pork chop and Apple sauce type woman, The bagel and lox cone was awesome, The sweet potato chips were awesome, The Japanese taco was great, the Olives Ferran Adria were just amazing, I could keep going on about the other 10 items as well, But you will have to go try them yourself, and let me not forget James the manager You can see that he wanted to make sure that you had the best experience ever, He was just An amazing man, He walked around to talk to you. asked me if had any questions, The Waitresses and waiters and James All told my wife happy birthday , they were all very thoughtful and kind. Then let's not forget The truffle A La carte for 2 ,after you did all your food tasting we went to a different room to eat dessert which was awesome. We're from Alaska and I would definitely give The Bazaar a 10,and we will definitely come back.
Exquisite food, amazing cocktails and the sweetest kindest waitress!! Loved loved this place!!
As always, Bazaar food presentation never lacks. The flavor notes paired with unique presentation creates a memorable food experience. From the caviar cones to their salty foam margarita, everything was a delight.
The atmosphere was busy, and seemed much brighter then what I remember from past visits.
Hostess stand staff was very friendly and sat us right away. A nice change from my last visit a few years ago where they were quite snobbish and actually forgot about us at the bar.
Service wise, while our server was very friendly and informative, we went many times throughout the night with empty water glasses, and our cocktails got very low with watery ice cubes dissolving in our glasses. At one point we had to ask another employee to get more water and order more drinks.
What we had: Cavier Cones, Squash blossoms tempura, Lemon foam/brussel sprouts, Pork buns, Philly Cheese steaks, olives (modern are delicious/standard are a bit briney with the added anchovy) Scallop Ceviche (amazing).
Our server in the patissier/dessert area of the restaurant was really wonderful. From friendly service to being extremely attentive. We did have a nut allergy and unfortunately weren't told that one of the items we ordered had nuts. It turned out okay, because we had ordered multiple items.
Overall, a superb place to visit. It will surely impress your date and your taste buds.
It's important to know that this is isn't a budget-friendly spot, and is best saved for special occasions and Instagram worthy foodie shots. While it is a tapas restaurant, portions are smaller than maybe some other tapas spots you have visited before. Bazaar recommends 8-9 tapas per 2 people.
Valet service - while very friendly, is a bit of a cluster due to the SLS Hotel and is very pricey. At a whopping $17.40 (why they charge with change is beyond me) prepare to hand over a $20 bill for parking that night.
Delicious inventive food. Fun atmosphere and very fun cocktails.
Birthday dinner was amazing — made sure to take care of the birthday girl and make her night wonderful.
Our sever Raj was GREAT.
Went for my wife's birthday, and the whole group was blown away. Raj took great care of us, and we let the chefs choose our courses for us. The best, most creative meal we've had. And Shane O'Brien is a beast in the kitchen!
Inventive Spanish tapas. Octopus toast with a hint of chilli was delightful. Beverly Hill prices though!
