Did the omakase and enjoyed every dish.
The course meal was in disarray, food not up to par. Waitress dropped a knife on to my partner... Dessert were also not up to par. Overall, a very disappointing expierence.
Drinks were pretty good.
Atmosphere is one of a kind. Presentation of food and drinks are awesome.
The Peruvian ceviche is not a Peruvian dish at all
Wonderful was 40 year anniversary
Our 40th Birthday
Adventurous & fun dining experience in a unique ambiance.
There’s two floors in that restaurant. I’ve been twice. It was great service and ambiance. Last time we’re be seated in a room with two kitchens. It was freezing inside, terrible service.
It is just a fun place with great food. The presentation is highly entertaining and the service is wonderful.
We were very disappointed with our experience. The food quality was awful, very pricey for what you get.
Our tomahawk steak was tasteless, and our service was horrible.
Would not recommend!
Did the tasting menu, started out great but the hot food wasn’t as good as the cold. Also the servers didn’t switch out our plates and cutlery as often as they should have.
Everyone raves about the food (and of course they do, it’s amazing) but I have to say - the service we received was out of this world! Special thanks to Matt, our server, and Sebastian, master of drinks for being attentive (but not too attentive), knowledgeable, and great guides through our killer anniversary dinner.
This unique dining experience is worthwhile in every conceivable way. Everything from the adventurous, playful menu to the considerate, attentive service was remarkable. The Bazaar chefs and service staff was able to deliver a wonderful evening. I can confidently recommend a visit.
Having been to The Bazaar before, I believed it was the perfect place to take my Mom to celebrate her 85th birthday! She had never been to a restaurant so “special”!
Service was amazing - from Ila’s welcome (the manager; I’m sure I spelled that incorrectly!), Raul (busser) and Matt’s care in the dining room, it was awesome.
For two of us, we had nine items (not including the two desserts!). Brussels sprouts, caprese, leeks and asparagus, mushroom ramen with pork belly, seared wagyu beef cheeks, seared rabbit, turbot, scallops and Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. EVERY SINGLE BITE was delicious!!
For dessert, we had the nitro coconut floating island and imperial earl grey with coffee.
It was a fabulous evening!
Always an amazing place
Amazing job by Jose Andres. Great molecular gastronomy dishes. A little bummed that some favorites are off the menu like the fois gras cotton candy due to California law. But the phillycheese steaks more than make up for it!
Jose A is a food genius. Few other places will give you as many wow! moments. I have been to all his restaurants many times and I always returns.
Amazing! José Andres you are amazing. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world. I enjoy my time in your restaurants. Your team always exceeds our expectations.
Food was quite good but we waited a very long time for the last two tapas. It seemed like the waiter had completely forgoten about them. Most waiters looked unprofessional, talking loud to each other while serving you and looking stressed. The food is worth it but they should really improve the service.
I took my nephew with his girlfriend for his birthday and we had a spectacular multiple course fixed price menu that was sensational. Our host was wonderful he really knew how to take care of us and suggested fabulous things for us to try. The atmosphere is delightful and strange and wonderful all mixed into one. The desserts are out of this world.
One of the best plates in Los Angeles. The food is just stunning and the cocktails are terrific malt crafted and very special.
Not as great for a single diner ( as I am when traveling for business ) - hard to feel cocooned.
Been to the restaurant several times before, felt like the experience it’s declining, the restaurant was pretty empty. They would drop the plates and leave without explaining or telling what plate that was. And the waiters seemed more worry about putting tables out and closing some sections then to actually serve. I was ask only on the beginning if I wanted a drink and never again. This use to be one of my favorite places when I lived in LA, was kind disappointed with this last visit.
Jose Andrè has been one of my favorite places to eat for a long time. I love their concept of fine dining its fun fresh and they always have a seasonal menu. I will be back! Also don’t forget to stop by the dessert room it was soooo pretttttyyyyy!
We like all the dishes that we ordered. The scallops weee a bit salty. My favorite dish is the wagyu beef. The meat is tender and tasty with the coffee seasoning.
The highlight of the night is the Jungle Dessert Graffiti. It’s truly entertaining but I don’t some of the small candies. They are too sweet. The overall dining experience is ver pleasant. They have DJ on the site later in the night.
Raj was one of my best servers I have had in years. True professional
I was very excited to eat at The Bazaar, as I’m a big fan of José Andrés. We were disappointed in our experience. The food was ok, the service was great, but overall it was overpriced and underwhelming. There are far better dining experiences in LA for a better value.
Very good spanish traditional and molecular tapas food.
New prices of the jamon iberico 5 jotas at 1,428 USD/kilo ( 2 oz at 80 USD) without tax and tip it is an insult to the customers;
Mr. Jose Andres, check what your management is doing as they ruin your reputation in a competitive market.
This place is one of the best places in LA for cocktails and deserts. The food was good but nothing extraordinary. The vegetarian food took almost 45-1 hr to come.
I would definitely go back to this place for the cocktails!
We have eaten at the Bazaar several times, and this was a special occasion for my wife’s birthday. We brought our 2 good eating kids. For fun, we ordered the ultimate tasting menu. The food was good, not as good as I remembered (my daughter said this first), but good. The service was lackluster. We ordered cocktails first (no alcohol for the kids). The adult cocktails did not show up until after the third course; the kids cocktails did not show up for another 10 minutes. No one ever came to ask us for additional drinks after we finished. The plating was the worst I have ever seen. We got up from our table and replaced our own plates between courses 4 times. After watching us, the staff finally got the picture. We never had our utensils replaced. I am allergic to nuts and made this known at the beginning of the service. Our dessert course included a chocolate mouse with hazelnuts (that you can’t see not was included in the description of the dessert). Fortunately, I tasted the hazelnut and spit it out.
Finally, no one came to ask us how our experience was. What was once a family favorite is now an experience we are telling people to avoid. Too bad. Jose Andreas is a remarkable human being and a special chef. We are sad to lose this special place in LA.
Been going here for over 12 years. Amazing as always.
It was great six years ago, but now it feels like a tired operation with the staff and chef lacking passion. Even the furniture felt tired - the pleather chair I sat on was cracked and stained, almost bursting open on the cracks. The main server perhaps showed up at our table only three times after the initial order. The rest of the time was just dishes being delivered with a brief description by others. We had the omakase. Many of the signature dishes were included, but again, not terrible but felt tired - over seasoned and too heavy handed with oil. We understand many ingredients have to be prepped ahead, but it felt like a cafeteria production line made the food. The dishes served somehow didn’t flow well either.
There were a lot of staff around, but didn’t feel like they’re into what they’re doing.
The desserts were wonderful. Glad to change the scenery into the dessert room.
For the price, I wouldn’t go again or recommend it to friends. This town has so many oldie but goodies and new and fresh places to experienced. We’re going to Somni next month - hopefully the two stars and the price are justified.
This was one of the finest dining experiences I’ve ever had! The food was amazing and so creative! The atmosphere was so unique and the staff was superb!
Ambiente molto curato.
Niente vino. Mancia e tasse,il tutto per 350 dollari. Caro ma strepitoso. Ci tornerei di corsa.
I did my 40th birthday here. It was great! The LN2 cocktail was awesome and we did the pre-fixe menu, which was fantastic.
Great food, fantastic drinks. Our server was nice enough, but (and maybe I'm spoiled by other places) I would expect fresh silverware with each course for a multi-course meal.
Very Unique, great food and drinks! All the decore really adds to the environment. A fun hip place good for young professionals to explore and have a good time!
Bazaar is always my favorite restaurant.
Loved it. Our friends came from France and they found a French speaking waiter to translate.
Fantastic and I will recommend this spot to everyone visiting LA!
Always one of the best
