View Private Dining DetailsThis was our last night out before flying home. It was recommended to us by the guide from the Liberace Foundation tour. Was everything we wanted in a Vegas dining experience without the seizure inducing lights and overwhelming crowds. We will come here every time we come back!
The waiter never asked how the food was. Unfortunately 2 of the steaks were overcooked and chewy. Also unfortunately the 2 guests didn't say anything until after
Underwhelming experience. What appeared to be romantic decor in online photos was kind of sad and dated in person. Food was average. And I'm sorry, but $15 martinis really should be filled to the top of the glass. Would not recommend.
The Barrymore is a hidden gem. Tucked inside The Royal Resort Inn. The food was absolutely incredible, the ambiance was GREAT. It was a small dining room, only about 8 or 9 tables, that were all full, but we made a reservation only an hour earlier and had no problem! The filet mignon was to die for! They might have been understaffed as the poor server was running around like crazy, and the bartender was running food. So glad we checked this place out. Will be coming back.
Went here for my son’s 21st birthday. We wanted a special location. The Barrymore did not disappoint.
Went for Monday industry happy hour, will definitely return.
This is a great place. I enjoyed the atmosphere very much. Like an old school steakhouse; a throwback to what i imagine old vegas would have been like. Food was excellent too. Service was great and our server (Ashley?) was the best. Nice little lounge area with live music. Very nice to get away from the big casino restaurants.
Highly recommend, food was fantastic and the service was very attentive. A hidden gem just off the strip.
Delicious, lovely ambiance, tasteful decor, live music (though not too loud), all around wonderful. Worth the trip up to the top of the Strip.
One of my favorite places for lobster mac and cheese...it’s listed as an appetizer but I pair it with the wedge salad and it’s a meal. Love the ambiance...off the strip a little but worth the trip
The food wasn't great and our waiter was ok. His helper was more attentive
The serving staff makes the evening relaxing and enjoyable. The food is cooked very well and they have catered to my food allergy everytime 100%. We have gone there the last few times we come to Las Vegas and always enjoy our food and evening ! Thanks
This restaurant is off the strip and in a small hotel. The decor is rich and classy. The food and service were both excellent. I had a great bottle of wine and the surf and turf. The risotto was also perfect. I had a group of 8 people, all of whom left with a big smile. Thank you!
Dinner out in Vegas for my wife’s birthday. We were so pleased with our experience at The Barrymore. The staff were so wonderful and attentive. Loved the vibe of the restaurant and the food was delicious! We were a bit hesitant because of the location but decided to give it a go. So glad we did. We will definitely be back. What a great place. Loved the music and the drinks also.
We left the strip and went to the Barrymore based on other reviews. It is more of almost a cafeteria-style (placemats instead of linen, basic decor) BUT the service couldn’t have been better, more attentive, welcoming and helpful. They had a lovely singer in the lounge that you could also hear from the restaurant. Good wine list and helpful Sommelier. The food presentation was terrific but the food was average. This review is hard because it was a really good experience, just have had better steaks for sure. .
This was my favorite meal in Las Vegas. The filet was perfect. The restaurant is beautiful and very cozy. It was a very delicious and relaxing meal with perfect service.
Fantastic. Service was attentive and personal. Steaks were seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Don't miss the parmesian risotto.
Never judge a book by it's cover! The location of this restaurant, off the strip is worth the drive. We travel all over the world, and the Barrymore is our new favorite. I just wish that there was a Barrymore everywhere we traveled. The restaurant is beautifully designed and decorated. The staff was exceptional, the wine list was top notch, a list that would please every price point. Hands down the food and dining experience was not only more than we expected it now is one of my top five memorable restaurants in the world. Yup it is that great!
Excellent food and service. Steaks were perfectly cooked with the best seat and seasoning I’ve had in years. If you like spicy, the sauce with the shrimp cocktail had just the right kick! The restaurant is a bit off the Strip but it was worth the cab ride.
Phenomenal service, great value and wonderful food. From a great bar scene and tasty drinks to an old school meets new school dining vibe, it’s everything you’d want out of a Vegas steakhouse.
Excellent service, beautiful food presentation, tasteful decor, varied menu, & delicious food. My friend had the pork chop which he felt was a bit overcooked and staff immediately make every effort to accommodate him. The rest of us greatly enjoyed our shrimp scampi and grilled salmon. The wine list was also notable.
The pictures were set and expectations that wasn’t met. The food was ok. The lobster was to soft and gooey. The fillet and shrimp was good though. So was the sea bass.
Found out about the Barrymore searching for a romantic spot to dine after our wedding. It did not disappoint. Old world Vegas charm, and the food and service were spectacular.
Classic old school restaurant with live music that is easily overlooked north end of the strip on convention center drive. Ambiance is great. Service was good. Menu covered the standard range of appetizer, entree' and dessert options. Prices were moderate.
Foigras was tasty. S
The service here was terrible. We were there for over two hours and were only one of about 6 tables. She never came back to see if we wanted more drinks, the food took over an hour, and I ordered my steak medium and it came out well done. This place was definitely overpriced, as well.
2nd time to come for dinner. Exceeded expectations.
Great place to chill, great soft live jazz.
Everything was amazing and we loved our waiter Luis. Best meal we’ve had in a long while. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Vegas.
Recently dined at this restaurant located at the Royal Resort on Convention Center drive so just a short drive off the main Las Vegas Strip. What a cool dining venue and lounge! Nice selection of seafood options to go with Wet and Dry aged steak offerings. We started off with a nice bread basket and my guest and I shared the 14oz NY Strip (wet aged) - prepared perfectly - juicy inside (they were kind enough to slice it for us) - nice light char on the outside - seasoned perfectly! We also had the shrimp scampi and shared grilled asparagus and roasted Brussel sprouts (as with most restaurants - side dishes are good for 2 guests to share). Everything was great. We tried their version of ice cream sundae - which had 3 scoops of different flavored ice creams and then you are provided with different toppings you can add such as pistachios, chocolate & caramel sauces and a few others. They also have a nice wine selection and Heidi the Manager/Sommelier will help you pick out some great options and make sure you have a great experience. The dining area is not that large so if you're looking for something unique or maybe with an 'intimate' atmosphere - check it out! They also have full service bar/lounge I believe with occasional live music. Don't miss out on this hidden gem!
Wonderful service and friendly, knowledgeable staff. The food was delicious and on point. The staff was very conscientious about ensuring my dinner was gluten free due to my celiacs. The atmosphere was intimate and unique. We will definitely return.
Great meal, great service and amazing ambience. We had a fabulous dinner at The Barrymore.
Had a very nice time and meal ! We were going to a show and was in and out on time !! They were very good !!! The food was great !! We had time to take our leftovers back to our room and still made our 7:00 show !! Would do it again!! And the left overs were great for lunch the next day!!
Our dining experience was well worth it. The food was excellent presentation amazing. They worked with our special diet. The wait staff was superb. I would recommend this to anyone and I will be going back again.
We had a perfect Valentine’s Day dinner here. Such a cool, romantic spot. Hidden gem.
The Barrymore is a really nice restaurant, food is good, wine selection is excellent but it is not possible to have a nice quiet conversation. The noise level was high.
Heard such amazing things but was extremely disappointed by the slow service. Everyone was extremely but but would not recommend to others.Food was good but overpriced for the venue and off strip location.
My steak was good BUT the hotel was dated & service was pretty bad. There was literally not a soul in sight when our group of 6 walked into the lobby. Restaurant has some cool attributes but the blue rubber patio style place mats on top of the black linen tablecloths were strange & uncalled for. It felt cheap and our meals certainly were not! Service was slow and not friendly. We had to keep requesting plates removed, refills, etc.. We wouldn’t go back.
Beautiful atmosphere with old Vegas charm. Would have never expected such a lovely restaurant inside this hotel but it was such a pleasant surprise. The service was exceptional as was the food. We were looking for a romantic location for a quiet dinner for two with excellent food - the Barrymore exceeded our expectations. Thank you.
Our reservation was for 8 pm, the restaurant was moderately full & very loud. We weren't bothered by it but thought it would be helpful to mention for others to know prior to making their reservation. I'm giving them a 3/5 for the following reasons: Our server took over 20 minutes to get our drink order. We ordered the smoked bacon which was great. We ordered the exact same steak and temperature (medium) but one came out well done. The mushrooms and mashed potatoes were great but the asparagus wasn't flavored which was a bit odd. The food and wine were priced fair.
Really enjoy the Barrymore. Took my wife there for her first time, and she was blown away by the decor and the food.
