The Barrymore - Inside Royal Resort Las Vegas
Excellent food, beverages, ambience and service. This place is a hidden gem!
This place is a hidden gem! First the atmosphere is really great. They have 2 dining rooms, both are decorated in an updated retro look and are super cozy. The blue room is the cozier of the two! Great big booths all around the room. The bar area and outdoor patio are also super desirable!
The service was impeccable. Our server and bus staff were friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and just an overall joy.
The food was so good. We had the grilled octopus to start, a bone in rib eye with the mushrooms and brussel sprouts. We did order a side sauce but it was completely unnecessary as the steak was amazing on it's own. Their drink menu was also fantastic!
We will be back whenever we come to Vegas. Great date spot!
The Barrymore has become a must for dinner anytime we’re in Las Vegas. Great wine list, outstanding dishes and fabulous service, all outside of the din of the casino restaurants
Do yourself a favor and check out this hidden gem!
This was our second time at The Barrymore -- we love it for a special occasion. The price is fairly high, but the atmosphere, service and quality of the food are exceptional.
Amazing. Service impeccable. Every bite was delicious. (Fish/steak) Live music setting a chill vibe. Can’t wait to go back. I’m passing over the big name /celebrity restaurants for this one.
Just. Great time as always.
Food great, service was spot on.
Like old old Las Vegas, dark and classic .
Really a neat little old style movie steakhouse about two miles from Palazzo. $8.00 Uber ride.
Good food and relax atmosphere, nice wine list- great singer in the bar. Hotel Resort lobby next door a bit odd but restaurant well worth the visit.
Wonderful service, very friendly and accommodating. Fantastic food and drink menu
Hidden gem, just off strip.
Excellent food, wine list and ambiance. Great to see a restaurant cater to tourists without alienating local crowd.
The service was outstanding and the food terrific.
What a cool little place just off the strip. The food was amazing. The server was awesome. We had a great time and will certainly be back.
Very inconsistent. Some food items we ordered were excellent. Some were merely passable. The service was great in some ways, and marginal in others.
Great steaks and cocktails, a bit of Palm Springs in Vegas! Love being off the strip with great service and food!
Got there late, so we were the last table. I would dine again
Had a wonderful anniversary dinner there!
Everyone was super nice and had excellent service! Would definitely go back❤️
Before you walk in, you think you made a mistake because the hotel this place is located in is across from a Ross Dress for Less and looks less than fancy. But don't despair! This restaurant is high quality. The food is high quality. The service is high quality. The atmosphere is high quality. Every item we ordered was very well done and good. Very, very good gem that feels "hidden." Great decor!
Really wonderful, reasonably priced, delicious.
It isn’t super fancy on the outside but cozy inside. Steaks, grilled shrimp and sautéed spinach were great. Pricing was very reasonable.
Gem of a restaurant and bar. Exceptional mixology and service. The ambiance old school classy.
Me and my wife have come here multiple times since we find out about it. Great food and environment. It's one of the few hidden gems in Vegas. Top it off with and industry night on Mondays....
I love this place
Have been there 4 times. It is dpecial to us (annivrrsary). We elected to stay at the bar this tome. Everything was amazing.
The food was amazing the ambience is really nice. It would’ve been great if the music/musicians would’ve stayed longer. The sommelier was Fabulous.
The service was good but it wasn’t as attentive as we expected for the price..
Extremely long wait for every phase of ordering. To order a second cocktail, had to flag down the manager and order from her.
Great froi gras, rib eye bone in was good too. Crab cakes were bad.. very little crab meat and too creamy and soft. The mole had very little chicken and about a table spoon of mole sauce.. kinda surprised how little chicken. Bread was very good and drinks too
I had the pleasure of dining at The Barrymore for my birthday March 3 and it was nothing short of AMAZING!!! Our server Steven was professional, courteous, informative, patient, and quite humorous overall he was an absolute joy! A member of our party had an issue with his food and Steven along with the owner I believe jumped right into action to correct the issue. The food, the staff, and atmosphere were absolutely perfect. The staff even made sure my birthday dessert was to my liking as I have a particular food allergy to cocoa. The overall experience really just made my birthday extra special and I cannot thank The Barrymore staff enough. I will definitely be returning soon! Thanks again!!
Randomly found this restaurant when looking for a steak place for our upcoming visit. It was delicious! Swanky old Vegas interior. Perfect steaks. Attentive service. Would definitely go back again.
The wait staff was unbelievably!!!
Lovely place. Surprised my boyfriend because I heard so many good things about this place but in my opinion it’s average. Small
place, looks bigger and brighter in pictures. Not in a great area of town and never heard of the run down hotel name it’s in. Steaks are good but I’ve had better. They had special appetizers that night, one of them was a short rib ravioli with a mushroom sauce. It’s was very good but not worth it for the price. I don’t remember exactly how much but I do know it was more than $15 and you only get 3 small pieces! You can get short rib ravioli with mushroom sauce, sun-dried tomatoes and asparagus for the same price at Yardhouse and it’s a plate full, I couldn’t eat it all. Apparently they have 1/2 off food on Mondays for locals. So if you’re a local, I suggest you go on a Monday & check it out.
Food was really good and we loved the ambience
We wanted to find the best steak, but we found so much more than that! The Barrymore is a hidden gem in Vegas. Everything was outstanding, including our waitress. We actually ate at the Bellagio Prime Steakhouse the night after that, and while that was a wonderful experience as well - The Barrymore is the one I will return to and recommend to everyone! Loved it!
This is my favorite place in Vegas to take clients as well as family. Service, food and vibe will please even the hard to please.
Very nice ambiance with live music in the bar area. Attentive service and great tasting food. My husband had the bone-in ribeye and I the shrimp scampi pasta. A nice assortment of bread was served with the meal as well. I would recommend for a nice steak place a little of off the crowded strip.
An amazing experience of old time Las Vegas. Highly recommend. Perfect place to get away.
Neat place off the strip. Kind of weird location but part of the history. Food was good not amazing, but was definitely worth a visit.
Enjoyed the food. The waiters and waitresses was awesome. Overall great experience and will recommend to people. Will come back to visit if in Vegas again
This was a great find for valentine’s day in Las Vegas.
Everything was really good, the Barrymore steak sauce was a little disappointing, but everything else was solid. Great wine list, good service, well prepared food. My only advice would be to request a booth, we had a small table on Valentine's day and could barely fit anything on it, including our bottle of wine.
I will definitely go again.
A pleasant surprise setting, an enjoyable meal and a genuinely friendly server.
There was one server, the main dining room was full. The manager was very helpful in assisting her. He answered our questions on the menu and helped us pick a wine. The ambiance was amazing and the cocktail we had before dinner was spectacular.
Though I am unlikely to visit the restaurant again, some food selections were excellent. However, I would never order the white sea bass again. All at best 3 ounces were covered in a sauce that completely overpowered the fish. Tragic choice, especially given the price. And the presentation of the Bananas Foster could not have been any more uninspiring if they brought it to the table in a waxpaper carton. Moreover, my major criticism stems from the wait staff rushing us through our meal even before we finished our dessert, especially given there was another table open for other guests. Perhaps, rather than insult their guests in such a rude fashion, they should consider expanding seating by winterizing one of their outside seating areas for winter use.
