   The steaks were not well cut and overcooked. Although it wasn’t bad, the price wasn’t justified by the quality of food.

   I have dined here several times in the past few months. Every single time the steak has been way over cooked. I was there yesterday and I ordered medium rare which came out medium well. I told my waiter and he was very nice about it and went to cook another steak (while I waited 15 minutes and my friends dug in) then the 2nd steak came out fully well done as the manager admitted. It completely ruined our dinner and we were celebrating my friends engagement. The manager did bring us champagne and took (only) the steak off the bill but at that point we had already been at the restaurant for two hours and I wasn’t going to have my friends wait for them to cook something else for me. I really like Cameron Mitchell restaurants but the Barn cannot seem to cook a steak correctly as this has now happened SEVERAL times all within the past few months. I would only return for happy hour and I definitely would not order steak and I also would not come here for a celebration because of the inconsistency.

   Overall the food was very good, but overpriced. Entrees came with one side dish, and my broccoli was slightly undercooked and had little flavor. Service was very good, though our server never checked on our meals after they were served.

   I took my wife for her birthday dinner and we were blown away when we first walked in the restaurant. Everything was great from the hospitality to the food. We will definitely tell our friends and come back again.

   We sat in an enclosed patio area for the first time. Unfortunately, 2 stink bugs and a bee decided to visit me during the meal. Manager did come over, but it sorta took away my appetite. Won't stop me from coming back.

    We had a great experience. Our group was a large party celebrating three birthdays. The large table gave us plenty of room. Our waiter was very polite, personable and did a super job. Everyone’s dinner came out around the same time, correct and tasty. Free dessert for the three birthdays! We visit The Barn when we come to town to visit family and rely on there consistent quality.

    Our meal was exceeded our expectations. We dine there once a month because of the quality of food and the excellent service. The prices are what you would expect for such. But not over priced for what you are getting.

    As always, a great place for Sunday brunch! We had not been there since the pandemic shut us down, but it has not changed in the quality of the food, nor the exceptional service. Definitely planning more return visits and would recommend the Barn at Rocky Fork to all.

    We sat in the bar area. We were there for my sons 14 th birthday so he thought that was cool. I got to tell how I visited Wooford Reserve in Lexington and that the bourbon I saw was on the shelves behind us.

    Service was extremely slow. When the waiter finally took our order and I had given him a list of my allergies it took another 30 minutes after for a manager to come over and tell me that my meal was pre seasoned and O had to reorder my meal.Had to ask waiter 4 times to refill ice tea ,water never refilled. My steak was over cooked,remade,under cooked and finally on the third try done right. I didn’t go for a free meal but they offered it to me for my steak. Reservation was for 7 we didn’t get out of there until 9 on a Thursday night. I have eaten there many times prior and it was never so bad as last night .

    Every time we dine at The Barn there is always something that is wrong with our food. We have never eaten at The Barn without an issue. We keep trying and hoping there will be no issue but every time there has been. With things as: Food overcooked, sauces added to dish when we asked to remove because of allergies, and more. The wait staff and service is always very good- which is one thing that is consistently good. I wish you can get the food to be as consistently pleasant as your staff is.

    Went for the Sunday brunch buffet. Started off bad when even though we had reservations, they stuffed us into a little two top table in the bar. At the large (loud) table next to us one persons chair back was less than a foot away from our table yet the waiter still squeezed back and forth so they were only inches away from my plate. They said all tables were reserved and since we were just 2 people they couldn't move us. Didn't make a fuss, but wish I would have as we watched nice empty tables all around the place get seated with 2 people. The food was really good, but just not that much better than a normal brunch, and certainly not at $40 each Disappointing for a CM restaurant

    This was only the second time we have been here for Brunch. A nice selection of food and as always, delicious. Our server was very attentive and courteous. I would recommend going to brunch.

    This was my first time experiencing The Barn. It was a GREAT experience. from the time I came in with reservations to the end of this experience was nothing more than AWESOME! This place knows what service is! I would recommend going. it was worth what I paid and more.

    Had a great meal. We were seated next to a large party that had 3 kids who were playing tag and catch- and I was surprised that the restaurant staff did not ask that party to have a better restaurant etiquette for their children.
