   Our server Nikki A was absolutely wonderful. The food was great. For the most part, the entire staff was super professional and super friendly. However, there was one young lady, I am assuming she was a manager as she was dressed slightly different than the rest of the crew. They were in all black, she had a black blouse with a multicolored striped skirt on. She displayed a lot of micro-aggressions toward my party of four. My husband, myself, and his 80 year old parents. Another diner, who was of a different race than us, was seated near us. We arrived at least 45 minutes before him, decided for whatever reason that he needed to be reseated away from us. His choice, no issues from us. We really didn't care. But after the young lady moved him, she continuously walked past our table, giving us dirty looks and side-eyes. I am not sure what we did to offend her or the guy she moved, but after spending $380.00 to dine at this restaurant, I feel like this disrespect was 100% unwarranted and unbecoming of a Cameron Mitchell establishment. I want to reiterate that our server Nikki was wonderful, but our experience in light of this woman's behavior was less than stellar. This was not our first time dining at The Barn, but it very well may be our last. I don't understand how, in 2025, the presence of certain people is still an issue for some people, but this is unacceptable. Our money is just as green as the next person. This superficial bias should not be happening today. This is not productive behavior, and a business gains nothing by running off any segment of our very diverse population. Do Better.

   As with any of the Cameron Mitchell restaurants we have dined in, The Barn at Rock Fork did not disappoint. The service was attentive as was the host who seated us. Our steaks were prepared perfectly, the green bean side dish was enough to share around the table. And the children's menu had more than the usual chicken fingers and hamburgers. This was a birthday celebration, and the coconut birthday cake was delicious!

   Cole was our amazing server . He told us to definitely try the praline - oh it was fantastic. The coconut cake and told us that the deserts were made in house ! Cole describe many foods to definitely try and where everything was at. Our server Cole made us feel like we were the only ones he had to wait on . The one on one he gave us was extra nice . He left such an impression that I asked for his name and asked if we could request him for future visits . The atmosphere was great ! Thank you for making such a wonderful day ( my best friends birthday ) extra special Cole !!!

   Sunday buffet was top notch as usual! Could maybe cut the desserts a little smaller so not as much is wasted. They all looked so good I had to try each!

   We waited way too long for anyone to come over to even get our drinks. Then our drinks took over 30 minutes to get. We didn’t even put an order for food in until an hour after we sat down. Our scallops were over cooked and steak was not medium rare.

    First time visiting the barn, my wife and I were completely blown away by the food and service. The oysters and scallops were definitely the highlight of our visit. Plan to visit again soon!
