The Back Room Steakhouse features aged Black Angus steaks including our boneless Rib eye, Porterhouse, New York Strip, and our Center Cut Filet. We also prepare fresh seafood dishes like our Chilean Sea bass and North Atlantic Salmon. Sunday we feature our Prime Rib Dinner. All entrees' include a choice of two of our fresh made sides. Spectacular dining in an unpretentious environment. Locally owned and operated with an emphasis on personal service.

This was our second visit and the food was very good. We had steaks and they had a great flavor and were very tender.

As good as any nationally-known steakhouses for food quality. The owner personally checks on each customer to make sure they are completely satisfied with their meal. Highly recommend it!

Food is amazing. Service was good. But we were seated and ordered and it was an hour before we got our food. I was really disappointed. I've never had that kind of wait for eating there previously. The tables next to us informed us that lately this has been a normal wait. So disappointing though. And then it was a half hearted apology from the manager. Waiter did comp us 2 desserts for 3 people, but while appreciated, went uneaten

The food is delicious but the noise is loud and they really need more cozier booths rather than tables out in the middle of it all.

Once again our dining experience was phenomenal. We sat at the bar because we enjoy watching Alex make cocktails. Our ribeyes came out perfectly as usual. Ed the owner always tries to make everyone feel at home and welcome. Still our favorite steakhouse.

From the beginning the service was fantastic. The apps were great and the prime rib was excellent. My wife had shrimp and scallops that was also excellent.

Excellent EVERYTHING as ALWAYS! Ed is FANTASTIC & one of the personal touches that has made this our ONLY STEAK HOUSE for the past couple of years!

The food value and service ROCKED. The Prime Rib ( only on Sunday ) - is the BEST : not fatty yet full of flavor. This is the BEST place including Orlando to order steak. Yummy garden salad, yummy garlic potatoes, yummy desserts. And not too noisy which makes it a GREAT place to dine for an intimate meal. Keep up the GREAT Work - we are definitely fans of the Backroom steak house!!!

The first time I’ve ever been disappointed here. I branched out from my normal order, and regretted it. A dining companion ordered the same meal as me, and I commented immediately that hers looked better. She thoroughly enjoyed hers, while I ate when I got home. It was warm (not hot) dry, and tough. Had it not come with the dipping sauce, I’d have sent it back as inedible. My husband had already needed to send his over cooked steak back, and I didn’t want to fuss. While we will return, I was annoyed to have to eat at home after such an expensive meal. The peach smash cocktail was excellent though, and my husband said the peach cobbler was the best. I was already too irritated to try it.

Main entrees which included a steak and salmon were both delicious. Sides are included so we felt the dinners were a good value.

We were sat down and waited 20 minutes before we had anyone come to table. The Manager did apologize about the situation and corrected it and offered free apps. The food was delicious!

Overall is was what we expected, TBR has always been good, although this time it didn't seem as good as it usually is. My wife ordered the soup of the day, a Hungarian Beef and potato, as she was feeling a bit under the weather. The "soup" was closer to a stew or even a chili based on the spice that was added. She could not eat it, and it was brought home, but ended up in the garbage. I had the pork shank which was good, our guests had the pork chop, (very good) and the Surf and Turf kabobs, (also very good). For an appetizer I had the Oysters Rockefeller, which just tasted odd, not sure what it was, maybe the spinach, something just didn't work, but 6 oysters for $18, while I'm not stingy, that was a bit of a surprise on the bill. All in all TBR remains a good restaurant and we will return, but next time we'll stick to the regular menu.

We liked the friendly atmosphere of the restaurant but when you pay premium prices for steaks you expect a perfectly cooked quality steak and they definitely can’t be described as that, unevenly cooked strip steaks and one had a vein line running straight through it and was not cut like a strip steak, it looked completely different to my cut. For these reasons I would not recommend to friends!

The first time I was there I raved about it, it was the best steak I d ever had. Wednesday night my $36.00 rib eye was so tough I took it home I took pictures of all the grissle, not marble it had. Also the iso buco was very dry. I’m hoping we had a bad night cause its a nice place to take company to.

Best steaks I've ever tasted and each time we go they're just as delicious as before. We brought family from NC who agreed the food at BRS is too notch. I always get well done steaks and they're never burnt, dry and always juicy. That's rare

Service and food were very good. If I had to say one thing I would like to change is the fact there is only 1 bathroom for men and women unless there was another restroom on the other side of the restaurant we did not see.

This is one of my husbands and I’s favorite local place to eat. The food is always good, the owner is great, and we love the bartender Alex :-) he makes excellent drinks!

The service was amazing from the start. The server was very knowledgeable about the daily specials and was able to describe the different dishes exquisitely. The food was perfectly seasoned and prepared, nothing short of spectacular. The aroma and presentation of the food was absolutely mouthwatering. It would be a sin not to highly recommend this experience to anyone.

Both my wife and I ordered NY strips along with side of grilled shrimp on mine with mushrooms and asparagus. Got the steaks with no shrimp. Sorry will get it. Both steaks had major grizzle thru them. They were cooked as ordered. Mushrooms and asparagus were done perfect. Shrimp got to table as we were finished and not fully cooked. Wine choice was good and wife’s Manhattan was excellent.
We own a restaurant in NY and understand how tough it can be. We would suggest the waitresses pay more attention to the customers while the chef inspect the meat, in this instance, more carefully, and hopefully these issue go away.
Ate there two years ago and gave it a 5.

I took a friend and his partner to the Back Room Steakhouse on Sunday evening to celebrate his birthday. Since Prime rib steaks are featured on Sunday we all three opted for them. The celebrant and I like ours teased with heat and the Queen cuts more than filled our tummy's. The other guest had his prime rib charred as he does not want to see any red and was totally satisfied. The sides were also well prepared and to top it off we shared a decadent huge slice of chocolate cake compliments of the house. The best dining experience in Apopka.+

I was excited to go to a real steak house in our area. We need nice restaurants really bad. The restaurant is very nice inside. The service is outstanding. They all are very serious about their positions. I was very impressed by the staff. The bartender was entertaining and engaging. It was fun. Then we get to the food part. I did read a review that said their food was warm. So was mine, the plate was scorching hot but my kabob was just warm. This is a rather pricey restaurant for the grade of food you receive. My partner ordered a medium steak which came out rare. He showed it to our server and she was very kind. She says it happens often. So if they tighten up on the steaks and food temps it would be a very nice special occasion restaurant. I’m still happy we went there!

The ambiance was very nice and we were seated promptly. We were a party of four and three of our entrees were wrong. Even though we let the restaurant know, they were unapologetic about it.

This was our first dining experience and we were disappointed- we were expecting a high level of service and quality of food. The service was good and she did what she could to correct my improperly cooked porterhouse which was done but the presentation was a joke for their best dish. The steak was plopped on top of the beautiful brocolini & mushrooms.....very disappointing. The shrimp were of poor quality & size & there was no one running the restaurant! I am retired from a career in hospitality & I was so disappointed I had to let you know. This area is growing like crazy but I see the doors closing if this place doesn't step up to the plate here...

Thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback. I must have missed you as I always to visit all tables. To be honest we rarely get complaints with regard to plating our entrees. With regard to the shrimp we did have a substitute product that was indeed a bit smaller than our spec shrimp.
