Took part in the tasting and wine paring. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. Added the yellow watermelon gazpacho and tuna tartare. Was along time since our last visit, we will be sure to visit sooner.

We had not been to The Ashby Inn for a number of years due to a bad experience when the Inn was under different management. This recent visit in 2025 was excellent, the staff were charming, friendly and helpful, the food and wine were delicious, we were not rushed and enjoyed a leisurely meal. We will definitely be dining here again.

Everything was outstanding! Our server Virginia was extremely attentive. The caviar was wonderful. The scallops and the halibut were mouth, water and delicious! The sommelier’s recommendations for a French rosé or also on point!

I loved the historic nature of the setting. Our waiter brought us a copy of the history of the Inn which was thoughtful and appreciated. He was also helpful with menu explanation and suggestions. The lamb chops were beautifully prepared and, perhaps, the best I have every had. Definitely give it a 5* rating and looking forward to returning for another wonderful experience.

As always, fabulous stay. Had brunch on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. The food is marvelous. Both in flavor and presentations. The house made bi units are mouth watering. The fried potatoes are worth the drive. Especially when served hot. Everything on the menu is great. Staff is outstanding. Steven and Virginia were very personable and attentive….as were others but forgot their names. Ashby is worth the drive for dining…but better yet, spend the night in one of the School House rooms.

There are wonderful choices on the menu, we had the duck and Waygu Beef as entrees. You can either choose to have the a la carte selection or the fixed price meal. We chose the a la carte approach. There is an ample selection of wines, and they made some interesting cocktails for the table that were well received. Would recommend making a visit to the Ashby Inn.
