With its warm service and artistic food presentation, The Asbury at The Dunhill Hotel puts a sophisticated spin on the local food movement and traditional Southern dishes. The Asbury is a tribute to Charlotte’s southern roots and the culturally diverse community of the New South. There is a strong tie to heirloom ingredients native to the area and specialty items grown by small, family farms throughout the local region.

Located on the corner of N. Tryon & 6th Streets at the heart of Uptown Charlotte’s cultural district, it’s only fitting that the restaurant features regional art curated in collaboration with Sozo Gallery.

Open seven days a week and serving the longest weekend brunch in Charlotte.

Felt rushed, had to ask repeatedly for beverages to be refilled. Not my favorite experience. Food was good.

We especially enjoyed the retro bar menu and will be back to try more. The bean appetizer was tasty although would have like a little more moisture. The fennel sale was lightly dressed, fresh and generous to share but we found few pieces of fennel. The sauage with rigatoni was perfection and the fruits di mare was fresh and sauce delicious. We share a delicious mocha carmel dessert.

The restaurant was very lovely. Dinner was amazing. The server could have been a little more explanatory towards the dishes we got. I like to hear about the food before I eat it. We went last year around this time and our server then explained every dish that came to our table, it was wonderful.

Fantastic experience.
Teamed it with a stay at the Dunhill Hotel which was equally impressive.

The meal was good. Not great, but good. The place was dead silent to an awkward level. Could hear everyone’s conversation. The service was great!

Outstanding dining experience! Loved everything about this restaurant - service, creative culinary “farm to table” options, great wine selections. We plan to make this restaurant our new “date night” spot. Thanks to Jenny and Frank for a memorable night.

The restaurant was very average. The service was just ok. And the food was ok at best.

So glad we finally made it for brunch!! The Asbury has been on our list for hot spots in Charlotte. My husband ordered the chicken & biscuits - best we've both ever had! I had chicken & waffles and the breading on the chicken was the best savory flavor with the sweet syrup! BYO Bloody Mary Bar and great morning cocktail choices!

Our waiter was in love with himself. The restaurant had only one other (although large) table going that evening, but even so the waiter disappeared for long periods. The food was very appealing and flavorful, although the risotto was not warm when it arrived.

It's too bad. It's a good location, small enough to feel right for good conversation and the menu and food is great (if brought out promptly). But everyone in my party noticed the poor service.

We had difficulty with the menu because there were so many wonderful things to offer. We shared the biscuits with bacon jam, the deviled eggs and a warm kale salad, all delicious. The server gave excellent suggestions and stellar friendly service. Pork Cheeks and Scallops were dreamy. I am a convert and will definitely return for a repeat performance.

waiter did not engage us in conversation to give dinner warm feeling, but service was fair (had to wait for drinks)

My girlfriend and I are Chicago foodies. The scene here in Charlotte has been disappointing. This is one of the three places that we have been astonished with the food. The pork cheek was textured properly with the glaze. SO GOOD!

Business lunch with a client whose offices are downtown I was able to drive in, park and enjoy a great taking healthy meal in a nice atmosphere. Noise level was not an issue, service was impeccable and will repeat as necessary for me to be in ‘uptown’ Charlotte.

The restaurant is very nice. Staff extremely personable. The fried chicken and buscuit was delicious. Very juicy. It had a pimento cheese gravy on it!! In the middle of Uptown so can go walk around after. Had a build your own bloody Mary bar and mimosas. One if the top brunch spots!!
