Wonderful experience. Small, intimate restaurant in The Dunhill. Local ingredients and interesting dishes. Service was amazing. Highly recommend.
Service started out a little slow. Due to ice storm. But the staff were all over every table to see if we liked the meal. How was it cooked. Did we need anything. There were customers who were there but waited for their favorite waiter to come in from the cold The entire visit was awesome. Thanks to the crew for being excellent.
Great for dinner before an evening at the Blumenthal!
Wonderful brunch at the Asbury. Thank you for being open
Outstanding food & service! Keith was incredible, and the food was amazing. Most definitely suggest the Brisket Egg Sandwich and the Chicken & Waffles. Will return once back in Charlotte.
The experience was awesome and a fitting way to wrap up the year.
Ok experience. Noise travels so nearby family with young children running around / being children was fairly disruptive to the experience. Wasn’t as upscale as anticipated.
Celebration dinner- recommend the sticky buns, charcuterie tray, steak, beef cheeks and mahi mahi- the blond brownie was exquisite!
Absolutely wonderful! My compliments to the chef. The service was great!
Highly recommend! Gracious and most accommodating staff.
I loved the intimacy of the dining area. The service was phenomenal and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!
Nice little spot. More for the older crowd imo. Price was great though not expensive at all !
Very nice spot for early brunch. Visited with family from out-of-town and they enjoyed it. Generous portions, great coffee.
The service was excellent as well as the food! We will definitely be back soon!
The food was good, though the egg was a little overcooked on my brisket sandwich. Our server, Ben, was attentive without being too overbearing and provided a lovely brunch experience.
Disappointed that the website did not highlight a limited menu. Food was okay, but not what we were hoping for on a night out.
Thanksgiving dinner. Cheap paper napkins? Plastic packs of butter for my rolls? Expected an elevated experience, but it was basically like going to a diner. The food was fine, but nothing was better than that. The tastiest part of the night was was the buttermilk salad dressing. Definitely was a bummer to plan our holiday meal here.
My date got very sick on the fish. It was the Mahi-mahi. Everything was overpriced. They did have a nice bar but the bar tender appeared to have many functions.
Great place to each and enjoy the company of great staff. Nick and Kieth were amazing.
We had been there for breakfast and dinner but decided to do ‘Burger’ night. Very pleased! Delicious and unique. Servers are always so pleasant and eager to help. Always going back here!
Great food, great service and I loved listening to Frank Sinatra!
The food and the service were exceptional. The pork chop was worth the wait. We will be back.
Asbury is always good
Food was delicious portions were generous. I have the beef cheeks and it was incredible. My husband had the burger with a double patty and he loved it. The truffle fries are a great addition as well. The service was really attentive and they gave great recommendations from appetizers to wine selections. I would absolutely recommend checking out this restaurant!
Food was ok, service was pleasant but slow and a bit hectic in terms of who was doing what. Several neighboring tables were loud but left.
Amazing brunch! Eggs were so delicious! Would definitely recommend!
Very nice restaurant in the Dunhill Hotel in uptown Charlotte. The staff was exceptional and food was, too.
Service was amazing! Very friendly and accommodating, the food was very good too! This may be our new weekend brunch spot.
If you are looking for something without the crowd, this is a great spot!
Keith greeting us and was the best. Helpful with seating, drinks when our table server was occupied. Table server was not familiar with menu and could use further training. Food was mediocre at best. No seasoning, all dishes were bland - homemade dressing, over cooked "smashed" burger and seafood. House ground burgers should be able to be cooked to guests temp - not the case at The Ashbury. Evening ambience was quiet and nice but daytime overhead lighting was not dimmed. It was VERY bright for evening dining. Disappointed.
Delicious food! I ordered the cauliflower bisque and burger, my date ordered the pork chop. We shared the deviled eggs. All the food was delicious!
Our server was very attentive, polite, and witty. Enjoyed having him as a waiter.
We don't go Uptown very often, but are excited to have found this place.
Delicious food, we sat outside and enjoyed people watching as there were many activities taking place in Uptown. Also, outstanding customer service by Keith! So funny and warm!
The service was incredible. We had such a great time - great food. The spaetzle was the best I have ever had. The burgers were like non other. I will go again.
Top shelf from start to end
Our waiter was exceptionally great! He had wonderful fun loving personality & was very attentive.
The best Meal!
The host & server were fantastc. The food perfect.
Our waiter, Keith, was so attentive and allowed my friends and I time to talk and eat while keeping our glasses full! We really enjoyed our time at brunch.
Dining area was noisy and several menu items were not available. Our server was busy and beads of sweat stayed on his forehead. I kept wondering if this might have dropped into our food. Patting his brow before reaching the table might have been a good idea.
The food was delicious, nice selection on the menu but the ambiance would keep me from entertaining friends or clients. I think with minimal cosmetic updates to the dining area would greatly improve the dining experience
Good morning Jeanne, We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the food and found our menu accommodating. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback regarding the ambience, we will be sure to share your suggestions with our team. We look forward to dining with you again in the future!
