Located on the corner of N. Tryon & 6th Streets at the heart of Uptown Charlotte’s cultural district, it’s only fitting that the restaurant features regional art curated in collaboration with Sozo Gallery.

The food was delicious, nice selection on the menu but the ambiance would keep me from entertaining friends or clients. I think with minimal cosmetic updates to the dining area would greatly improve the dining experience
Service was extremely pleasant; however, it was slow…understandable as just about every restaurant in the country is understaffed these days. We ate brunch, and it was lovely.
The food is great! I had the salmon which was excellent. My significant other had the chicken sandwich which he enjoyed. The devil eggs as the appetizer were delightful.
The potato cake and banana bread are musts!
If I could eat just this food every night I would be in heaven. First of all Nick was great! He told us a lot about the restaurant this being our first visit. We had the Pork Belly Appetizer and the steak, burger, and Mac & cheese for our meals. Truly the best meal we have had in Charlotte by far!!
We overall rated this experience 5 stars. Unfortunately, my steak and my husband’s salmon were both a little overcooked but the rest of the experience made up for it. The flavor profiles in the main dishes were spot on and the service was excellent. The dessert was also super. We sat outside at a sidewalk table and enjoyed the wafting live jazz music from down the street and liveliness of the city around us. I’m going to assume the chef had an off night with the temperatures of the proteins because everything else was great.
We were surprised by how mediocre the food was given other reviews. The food was piping hot, however that’s the only compliment I can give it.
Food was delicious, cocktails were well-made, and service was attentive. The Asbury is consistently enjoyable.
The Asbury is a great place to have a nice Charlotte brunch. My boyfriend and I celebrated our one year anniversary and this was the perfect spot! Delicious food & very friendly staff. The sticky biscuits and mimosas were my highlight!
The scallop, fresh corn, and eggplant starter special was truly outstanding. The kale salad with salmon was also excellent.
It was too small and the food wasn't what was presented online.
Wonderful food & service in a pretty atmosphere...
It was very quiet. Almost too quiet to have any kind of private conversation. Food was good. Service was fair. Price was accurate for what you get.
Great food and environment. Low staff when we went, but still food came out in a good amount of time
During a Saturday brunch with family we found the food selection varied and creative and the service excellent. The dining room itself was non-descript and in need of updating.both from the standpoint of furnishings and lighting.
nice choices for breakfast and very attentive staff.
We had the deviled eggs, salmon entree, and the caramel cookie with ice cream. The food was delicious. Keith, our server, was very attentive and helpful. The ambience was ok, but overall, it was a good experience.
Being Farm to Fork offered only a handful of selection, but everything was outstanding
It was wonderful!
Great brunch spot recommended to my boyfriend and I by several people. The server was awesome and gave amazing food recommendations. We will be back when we visit Charlotte again!
I requested a bottle of champagne to be at the table when my husband and I arrived. I called and the man confirmed it. There was no bottle. Also, the menu is very different from shown on here, so we decided not to dine in.
Father’s Day breakfast was great! The best pancakes ever!
Enjoyed Sunday brunch. Great flavors and imaginative menu.
Took my mom here for her birthday brunch- yummy food, good service, and nice experience all around.
I was led by reviews to believe the Asbury was a fairly upscale place, and dressed accordingly. Imagine my surprise when the other patrons in the restaurant were one group of women who were dressed for the beach and another group who honestly looked like they were ladies of the evening. No tablecloths even for dinner, nothing to blunt the considerable noise, and a dinner check that totaled around $140, with tip but without wine. The food was good but not outstanding, so I consider it a poor value and certainly an unpleasant experience.
The food and drinks were great. The staff was attentive. The restaurant needs to be updated and match the theme of south food.
The food simply wasn’t good. I was not impressed and would not return.
The waitress Jenny was AMAZING!! Brunch food and mimosa pitchers were delicious and dessert cookie brownie with ice cream was soooo good. I will definitely be back.
Food was good, service was good. It was a chill atmosphere and there were professionals having good conversation . I’d come back!
nice place, service was mediocre and the food was just ok.
This restaurant was strange. It took a while to even be greeted since there was no one at the host's stand. Once we sat down, it took even longer to even be able to order or get a glass of water. The food itself was average. I had a warm kale salad with salmon and my boyfriend had the chicken sandwich. It got even weirder when we realized that every other table near us had a different menu than ours. They had a brunch menu while we only had a lunch one. I would have also liked to have had a choice between the two since it was still brunch time.
*note we did come on memorial day, but they weren't even busy
The food was tasty yet the portions we super small
Delicious Southern food! My first time in Charlotte and I went for both dinner and brunch the following day. The dinner ambiance was brightly lit and the brunch was dim, which I thought was unusual but the service was attentive and friendly and the food was exceptional. The four of us gal pal travelers enjoyed it very much.
Cesar at the bar was great! He was friendly and attentive.
I love to have brunch at the Asbury, such a beautiful location and the service and food are both amazing. Feels so upscale but the prices are reasonable.
This was the first time dining at The Asbury. We were very please with the service, the food and the atmosphere. We were seated away from the main dining room and it was perfect!
I was disappointed with the limited menu given it was Mother's day.
The meal was over priced as well.
Really great food! Went for Mother’s Day brunch and it was awesome. Mom loved it and all around a great time.
Great food and service. Really unique menu in a charming environment. Save room for dessert!!
The potatoe cakes for brunch are the things dreams are made of!
