Excellent as always! Consistently wonderful food and service!
Quality food and friendly, attentive service make The Artichoke a primary option for dining in the Grand Lake area. The food preparation was precise which is important with seafood. Fish was tender, moist and the perfect temperature. Fried foods were golden and crispy on the outside while tender and tasty inside the coating. Menu options were good and emphasized quality over quantity. Wine selection was more than adequate, and we enjoyed a spirited petite Syrah at a reasonable price. Four or five genial and attentive people provided ongoing service throughout the meal. I could eat here a dozen times a year easy.
EXCELLENT as always.....!!!! An always enjoyable experience.....
Outstanding as always from greeting through dessert!
Great food and service. The asparagus was outstanding and my date thought the Lemon Drop Martini was excellent. Third time I have eaten at the Artichoke and I will be back.
Best place to get consistently excellent food for a special evening!
We always have a great time and are very well taken care of. The owners Jim and Diana have always been very friendly and always make us feel very welcome. We love to take our friends to this restaurant. The food is always delicious as well as their nightly specials. This is our oldest son and daughter-in-law's favorite restaurant.
Best Caesar Salad anywhere and the Blackened Salmon is the BEST Anywhere, also! The soup specials are always homemade and Delicious just like Everything on the menu! There was 7 in our group and everyone was Very Happy. One friend was raving on about his catfish too. Just all GREAT! Thank you to All at the Artichoke:)
Friends here from Seattle and wanted a great place to have dinner. Had previously heard of this restaurant and so we made reservations at the last minute. We were able to get a table and the waitress was very knowledgeable about the different drinks. We ate very delicious food and will be back. A+ in our book!
Met friends for drinks before our dinner reservation. Food was great as usual.
Consistently - a wonderful dinner! This time I had the salmon and my husband had the lobster pasta, but everything we've ever ordered has been great.
We were very pleased with our first visit to Atrichoke back in November for our anniversary. We went again last weekend for my wife's birthday and gota say the food was not nearly as good. My wife got the cracker crusted shrimp and said it was pretty good but I got the blackened salmon and fried potato. The salmon was just warm by the time it got to the table and my potato was so hard I had to use a knife to cut it but it was really too hard to eat. Way undercooked originally and not finished good when fried. Pretty disappointed this last trip. Will have to consider if we want to try again.
It was my wife’s birthday the staff was very friendly and the food was excellent and they even brought her a piece of cake
The Artichoke never disappoints. Their nightly pasta specials are always fabulous. And homemade soups are so yummy. Steak is always cooked perfect. Service is always outstanding. Best food on Grand Lake.
We always enjoy eating at the Artichoke. Every time we’re in town we eat here. They’re steak soup ( I know funny steak soup) was the best soup I’ve ever tasted. They also have a nice selection of wines.
The artichoke is always wonderful with great food and their famous steak soup
