Family owned, charming upscale restaurant in a home converted to a restaurant. Outstanding food. We have never been disappointed when we eat at the Artichoke. Their stuffed mushroom appetizer is awesome. Their home grown fresh vegetables are perfectly cooked and accompany excellent steaks/fish/chicken/pasta. I always save room for their lemon cake desert. Make reservations! The locals love this place and it is always full.
Very nice restaurant. The food is absolutely fantastic. While not overly expensive, it is also not cheap. The food is definitely worth it. If you would like a nice, quiet dinner, this is the place.
First Artichoke ever! Phenomenal environment! Fabulously put together and artfully crafted food! We are a definite reapeat consumer.
We eat at the Artichoke regularly. Their soups and salads use items from the garden when in season and are outstanding. It's my favorite place to eat at the lake!
The owners are great! Very friendly and welcoming! The food is fantastic - great menu. Don’t leave without getting dessert.
Great meal and excellent service.

Holiday dinner with friends.
Never fails, time after time The Artichoke proves why it's at the top of the list for great dining in the Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas area. A Grand Lake dining jewel !
We live in Kansas City,Missouri, my husband and boys work in Pryor. They stay in Langley and discovered this gem!! We love, love, love the Artichoke!! We made a special trip back to Langley for my birthday, December 20th, it was well worth the trip!!
Our favorite restaurant for special occasions.
First time to eat here and loved it!!! Will definitely be back.
We love dining at the Artichoke. We eat there often. Owners are fabulous and the food never disappoints.
Very good dinner. The watt knots are a must. Steaks were delicious.
Delicious as always!
Having dined in fine restaurants across the USA and Canada, the Artichoke can hold it's own against any 5 Star eating establishment. Try it , you will be pleased.
Took my friends for dinner prior to their move out of state. Drinks were perfect and the artichoke dip was delicious. Our dinner was served promptly. We enjoyed the music softly playing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
I had a surprise birthday party for my wife and the service and food was excellent. We look forward to our next dinner event . Great place to entertain or just enjoy an very nice dinner.
Set in a former house, The Artichoke was fun, quaint, and relaxing. The Lemon Drop martini and Long Island Tea were the best, enjoyed at small tables in the bar. The Artichoke Ravioli appetizer was delicious, the salads were refreshing. The stuffed shrimp was a bit overstuffed and short on seasoning. The blackened chicken and baked potato were amazing. Excellent, friendly service and prices!
Great food and the hospitality was warm & genuine! Can’t wait to come back!
This was our second visit within a couple weeks during our five week stay in Oklahoma. We celebrated Sandi's birthday and the Artichoke provided us with a complimentary (and decadently delicious) dessert. We had a great time and will definitely be back the next time we come to Oklahoma.
Outstanding menu choices and great food, expertly prepared and outstanding wait staff.
We brought our Kansas friends that had not been there before. Everyone loved their meals and we enjoyed good conversation and the ambiance of this cozy old house! Thanks again for a wonderful evening!
This was our 4th visit and it’s well worth the 1 hour plus drive. The food and service has been consistently outstanding every time. Very friendly and engaging staff. Will return again soon.
ALWAYS the best place for dinner in the area. Excellent, locally sourced food items, cooked to perfection or to your specification. Special are always special. Diane’s soups are always imaginative and tasty.
We can’t come to the lake without eating here at least once.
Always enjoy our experience and the food. Owners and staff wonderful.
Great food, service, personal service.
Good atmosphere to visit.
Wonderful food as always! We come from Claremore and love their crusted shrimp and what knots!
Food was great. Staff friendly and professional. We're from out of state, but hope to return some time
The food is always delicious!
They never disappoint! Food and service are always top notch!!
Excellence in dining! Consistently good. Owner operated husband and wife outstanding service
Birthday for our daughter. Fantastic food & service, as always!
Always a pleasure, great food and great service.
We stopped here for dinner on our way north from Texas to Missouri. What a great find! It was right on our way. It's run out of an old house, so we almost missed it. There's ample parking around back. It appears to be a popular spot for locals, and all the other diners were older couples or groups. The dining rooms are small, and decorated with what appeared to be the work of local artists. The menu was well-considered, the food excellent, the service friendly and comfortable. Save room for dessert if you can: the offerings are generous and excellent. We arrived about 5:45 pm, and most of the tables were occupied, so I'd recommend calling ahead for reservations even if you plan to dine early.
Excellent food & staff. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Local artists displayed artwork. Quiet & coZy. Never had a martini till one of the locals said try the lemon drop martini. Now I’m in Love with the lemon drop martini.
A perfect evening. One of their other customers was celebrating a bit too loud but that could be anywhere.
What a surprise. This is an old farmhouse, but it has a great art collection and is very tastefully decorated. The owner seated us and his wife waited on us. Delightful people and very attune to making our evening special. My wife had the steak soup which had a rich brown broth. I had the daily soup special, tortilla vegetable. Both were excellent. I had the daily fish special...sea bass Oscar style which at first made me a little apprehensive since I've never had sea bass prepared that way. It was outstanding. My wife had blackened salmon with the fried potato and thought the salmon perhaps the best we've ever had. Very nice wine list. We had Ponzi pinot noir. We frequently use Open Table to make reservations and read reviews and consider ourselves educated diners. This is one of the best restaurants we've experienced in some time.
Excellent meal, excellent service, nice ambiance. Will definitely return next time in town.
Great food and service as always. The Artichoke never disappoints. We highly recommend this restaurant.
