We had an amazing dinner!!! Food, service & drinks! If you are a little nervous about eating inside - might be a little too crowded & no masks. That said I felt we were spaced out enough and rooms are divided so there are small groups in each room. It definitely lived up to the hype!
We love this place!
A happy find for a Friday evening. We enjoyed all the food but especially the Watt Knot appetizer! Definitely will come again.
This was such a wonderful experience! The food is crazy good! There wasn't one thing that my husband and I ordered that we didn't absolutely love! The service was just as wonderful as the food. They gave great recommendations. So fun going to a local owner business. I even left there buying fresh produce they had for sale on our way out the door! Highly recommend !!!
Jim and Diane and all of their staff are the best!
always enjoy time with the Sellers at the Artichoke .
Loved everything about this restaurant except for the food. It was salty or pepper hot on Steak soup for instance, the Tilapia wasn't great, Alaskan crab legs were cold when they hit the table not great. Sliders and steak fries for my daughter were great and lastly the Crab cakes were the worst we have ever had , very pasty no lump crab meat seemed like frozen. Asparagus was cooked perfectly but no seasoning at all maybe a little butter.
We love dining at The Artichoke, the food and service is always outstanding. Thankful we have such a great restaurant so close to small town living!
Always a great experience at The Artichoke.
This is my favorite restaurant. The food and service has always been consistently great!
As always an outstanding place to dine. Looking forward to the next time.
Food was over the top. Service was excellent. Highly recommend
Always know our name - service is superb - food is outstanding.
Excellent food and excellent service. Had the filet.
Joint Anniversary celebration with our son and daughter in law. As always,we enjoyed our dinner and cocktails. Staff is delightful and service was on point!
100% one of the best places to eat and I crave it all the time.
Wonderful meal and service! The waiter was very friendly and helpful explaining how to eat the grilled artichoke! Our first!! The owner was terrific and stopped by to chat with us too!
The Artichoke is a an all around great place! We have been there several times and it never disappoints. On our last visit, the noise level was louder than usual due to a lively birthday party, but Happy Birthday celebration to them! We will definitely be back!
We had an excellent dinner. The whole grilled artichoke was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. The steak and lobster special was wonderful. The steak soup was as I remembered it in Kansas City. Most definitely would like to return. Wish it was in Tulsa.
It’s a 45 minute drive to get there, but the food and service is always great. It’s nice to see the owner always there working also.
Food is always great. Love the quiet atmosphere. Service is always great. It is pricey but I love eating their.
Food not as good as I remembered in the past. Crab cakes seemed more filler and not much crab. The fried baked potato was tough.
Went for a birthday dinner. Everything was excellent from the wait staff to the food. I love this place and highly recommend it.
We were celebrating our anniversary. The food and service was wonderful.
We love this place. The food is fabulous. Its casual atmosphere is perfect for the lake crowd but you can get dressed up if you want.
Great food, attentive service. My biggest complaint was the lack of mask wearing and social distancing. I know these small towns do not have the same mandates as Tulsa & OKC. But on the weekend I’m sure most of their customers are from out of town.
Otherwise the food was delicious and the service was outstanding.
Wat Nots are a must every time we eat here! All the food is fantastic and the service is great!
Grilled artichoke appetizer and stuffed mushrooms to start. Delicious. I had the filet mignon. The best steak I’ve had in the state.
We always enjoy the menu and friendliness. Food was great again. However this time I was particularly impressed with the social distancing efforts and placement of useable tables and hand sanitizer on every table. Thank you for doing your part to keep everyone safe.
Had dinner with friends. It was their first time there and they were very happy. They always have great soup.
The service was probably the best we have ever had anywhere. The mushrooms and steak soup appetizers were excellent. I had the ribeye and my wife had a fillet and we had to take it home because we were stuffed. Next time we will just have appetizers, not because the steaks are bad(they are excellent) but because the appetizers are so good. I have recommended this place to everyone I know.
Even though we were late, everyone was very nice. Drinks were well made, dinner was excellent, and there was plenty of social distancing that we felt very comfortable.
The kc strip was terrible. Was very tough and no flavor. No return trip from waitress to ask about steak.
Pasta should an available side.
Such a a great place! The food is fantastic and the at home atmosphere and hands on management of the owners make it a must try because once you do you will be going back.
Everything we ordered was just delicious. The stuffed mushroom appetizer is a must. Not only were the mushrooms amazing, but you will be tempted to drink the broth that remains in the pan. Save it for your potato! The steak soup is a meal itself. You must stop by, you won’t regret it!
Jim and the Artichoke are celebrating their 16th anniversary being open. We went down for a Saturday evening dinner and it did not disappoint. We started with the What nots, stuffed mushroom. These mushrooms are the best mushroom you will eat. They were so good we took some home. They have fresh salad from the garden. I had the special: blackened filet (cooked perfectly, very tender), it was delicious! My wife had the fried shrimp that were very good. She had the fried whole potato which is special treat in its own. We finished our delicious dinner date with the lemonade cake. Very good as always!
Fabulous place to eat. Quaint setting, outstanding food, and very nice people.
Food was great, as always. Service was great as well.
