The Arsenal at Bluejacket
Our hostess Michelle did a great job getting our two parties seated together and she was a lot of fun to talk to. Excellent selection of beers from their brewery with an option for smaller pours (4 oz I think) to try things. Good variety of food options on the menu. Everyone enjoyed their meals, I don’t think it was just the beer talking :). Would definitely recommend Blue Jacket to anyone and plan on visiting again next to me in the DC area.
Had the nicest and kindest waiter - and the place was beautiful! Great food too.
Limited brunch menu on Saturdays, but everything was delicious! Great service and great beer! We shared the breakfast tots to start. Probably the best tots I’ve had and with a runny egg on top! Then had the bacon egg and cheese on a hoagie roll. Yum!!
Incredible menu for folks who are Gluten free!
I've always loved the brewery, but this was my first sit-down dinner at Bluejacket. A super busy night with the World Series just blocks away and service was still great. Would recommend!
First time visit. Menu was great. Something for everyone with a little twist. The 86 beer was wonderful!
Great lunch. Waitress Chelsea was awesome. Would go back
Fantastic drinks and a phenomenal staff through and through. The wings are fantastic!! I'll definitely be back.
Love this place. Food is always great - not fancy but very good and satisfying. The beers are amazing. Great atmosphere and a great place to watch some football and enjoy a late Sunday brunch.
Giant pretzel appetizer was great, and the Burgers and Curry Salad were amazing. However, the veggies and hummus were quite bad. Most of the vegetables were radishes, none of the vegetables were peeled and the whole plate ended up tasting really bitter. Overall the only downside - they should modify or remove that from the menu. Also the ambiance was very dark and due to the open room the restaurant is very loud.
First time here. The one beer I had was great. Decent food. Terrible wait staff. Waited for 15 minutes for a waiter to come to the table. Never was asked if anyone wanted a second beer or anymore food. Three of our party of 5 left since there didn’t seem to be an interest in selling beer at this brewery while the other two (including me) waited for the bill. People generally go to breweries to drink beer. This place should and could be better than what it delivers.
Lovely place, excellent service, amazing food!!
Great food and service
Food was delicious, and service was incredibly professional. Definitely recommend the fried pickles. The place was very loud though, making conversations across the table difficult.
We had been wanting to eat at Blue Jacket for some time and it didn't disappoint. We were very happy that we had made a reservation because it was very crowded. It had that great industrial rustic feel and look and everyone was very pleasant. The beers we tried were great as was the food.
Too many damn kids running around. The food and service was good, but this is definitely a "family friendly" establishment. I would recommend to sit in the bar area to minimize the interaction with loud and rambunctious children.
Food and beer was good, prices reasonable, but the service was one of the slowest I ever had. Never been to a brewery that left you waiting with an empty glass for 15 minutes after you ordered a beer.
Host and Staff were rude and food was not bad, but nothing special. I was really looking forward to visiting this place on my trip to DC, but the waiter purposefully made my wife feel bad after she was unable to hear his question. Very unprofessional and a huge let down.
The absolute best food, service and beer anyone could ask for
Service was a very slow.
Very nice brunch! Good start for our Sunday. Great service.
Perfect to grab a burger and a beer before a baseball or soccer game.
It was REALLY hot inside. Really, really hot.
Great service, delicious food, flexible for our changing group size. Great experience
The AC was out and it was almost unbearable.
Great locally sourced food, hand crafted beers and strong mixed drinks! Great dining experience!
The food and service was great, it was just super hot where we were sitting.
Great time, great food, great experience — tried a pilot of beer and it was amazing; totally recommend.
Great beer, good food, fast service. My favorite pre-game eatery.
Ambience and experience was great. Choice and availability of different styles of beers was top notch.
We love the beers here and the apps and meals are perfect compliments to a fantastic beer selection. We will keep coming back!
Really liked the food but service was pretty slow and server was not the best. But overall really cool place and will definitely go back!
Hosted was rude and not accommodating even though they have the capability to be. Additionally, it was uncomfortably hot. However, the waitress was a gem.
Beer was great. Food was high quality, but small on portion size for the cost. Service was very good despite having a busy lunch crowd.
Fantastic food, beer and service! Can’t go wrong with any of Greg’s beer, and the staff is hands down the best in D.C.
That block needs to separate the fire alarm system. The fire alarm kept going off during the entire meal, making it extremely hard to visit or enjoy the meal. I know it's not all Bluejacket's fault, but they need to get that changed.
Always a fantastic meal and time when visiting.
It was shocking to go to a restaurant in 100 degree F heat, and that the restaurant had no signs up, nor had contacted reservation holders to let us know the A/C was out.
The service was non existent. We had to ask for drink refills several times, the food was super slow-delivered to the table more than 45 minutes after we ordered it, the bill wasnt delivered or picked up in a timely fashion. I would have walked out (which Ive never done before in my life) but the hostess tried to fill in and it was a business meal so I didn't want the drama. Also, it was 100 degrees outside and felt like 90 inside. I suspect the AC wasnt working.
This is a great place to get a brew and the food is usually really good. We sat outside because inside can be quite loud and we had some older folks with us who needed to hear. We usually love the patio, and I'm pretty lax on service because we all have our off days, but this was pretty bad. We didn't get cutlery or plates until well into our appetizers, plates had food crusted to them, we didn't get enough water cups for the group on a very hot DC night, and then water was never filled so we ended up going back to the water station to do it ourselves after about a hour, and then we seemed like we were bothering the fellow. We waited quite a while for the bill. Overall, we'll be back if we have out of towners who want to eat somewhere near the water that's not exorbitantly priced, but I think the service being bad on the patio for the 3rd time in a row is likely a turnoff otherwise.
