Food was good. Service was good but waiter asked me about dessert before I finished my meal and brought the check before I finished dessert
The food is all made fresh in house - it was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the charcuterie made with the chef's choice of ingredients. It had all kinds of meats, olives, cheese, peppers - crusty French bread drizzled with balsamic vinegar and even deviled eggs. It was fun and tasty for everyone at the table to enjoy. My husband's prime rib was excellent as was my son's AB cheeseburger and my daughter's ravioli. They also offer a great selection of beer and cocktails. I bet happy hour would be awesome too, we will definitely return whenever we visit downtown Phoenix.
Always great food & good services, the location before the game is always a plus.
Bring back the Turkey Sloppy Joe... Please!
Ordered their famous tacos and all of us were disappointed with the dish. Cold fish, taco shells were cold and rubbery not sure why they’re so famous for these taco’s
Our waiter was awesome!
Delicious and awesome environment! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family.
Nice lunch for Fathers Day
Waiter was awesome!
Food was good, not great or memorable. Nice place for a consistent type meal, just no wow factor.
Amazing food and service.
Waiter was fantastic.
A slightly upscale TGIF.
One would believe that the butcher’s platter would be the signature dish at a place named The Arrogant Butcher - the platter came with small servings of second rate deli meat, salmon cream cheese, a loaf of bread, and other accoutrements, which was a weak presentation of such a dish. Coupling this with slow service, a noisy atmosphere, and a price point at which I would expect inspired dishes, the Arrogant Butcher has no reason to be arrogant.
Great food and excellent service. I would highly recommend this place for dinner!!!!
We had heard such great things, but our experience was very disappointing. We felt very unwelcomed from the moment we walked in. I had made a reservation, so we would have good seating. The hostess wanted to place us in the bar area, we asked to be in the dining room, then she wanted to place us in a very small booth, we then asked for the larger booth and received it. One of us ordered prime rib medium rare. The center was raw and returned. Then we got it back very well done throughout. The potatoes were terrible (although highly recommended), so we asked if we could get the other potato choice instead. We were then charged additionally for them; but then she took it off the bill. It was definitely not worth the money we spent. Everyone was very unfriendly.
Our table was overall disappointed by the quality of food. It’s a busy place, the hostess is indifferent to customer needs and the vibe is a fast paced environment - get them in and get them out. If the food was better, I’d give a better review, but the cost/quality is not in balance. They can do better.
Absolutely incredible food! Service was a little slow but definitely worth the wait!
Brian was our server and was very friendly and great at sharing with us his favorites, etc.
Food was fine - I felt it was a bit sodium laden. The salted carmel pudding was terrific. The serving staff was efficient.
Food and service was great. A little too noisy.
Everything was excellent
Great ambience and food. Went here before a Diamondbacks game. Loved it!
Great food and an amazing server. Highly recommend.
The food and service were great!
Meagan was awesome
This restaurant keeps drawing back because the food is just that great. I ordered the pork chop and it took quite awhile to get it. The manager was kind to explain that they had to make sure it was completely done to perfection. It was. It was juicy and pretty much free of extra fat around the edges. The smashed Yukon Gold Potatoes and green beans were well seasoned and the potatoes had a slight crunch. My wife had their Caesar salad and I was lucky enough to get a few bites. It is always a joy to eat at these Fox Concept restaurants, because they all train their employees well.
Awesome restaurant. The staff was friendly, the food was outrageously good, will definitely be back!!
I had the audacity to show up 15 minutes early to my reservation. When I checked in the hostess told me they were going to wait until closer to my reservation to seat my party of four and then proceeded to seat multiple walk ins ahead of me. Oh half the tables were empty when I arrived. Then the food took a long time to come out and the plates were hot as if they’d sat under the heat lamps waiting for an extended amount of time. I’ve eaten here before and this time the food was lackluster, the service ok, the wait time long and the hostess clearly didn’t understand her job. I am unlikely to return.
We eat at the Arrogant Butcher at least once a month and have never been disappointed by the food.
This was a friends get together and the table was confirmed (by them) the day before which I like because we two friends cancel last minute and they adapted smoothly. The food was good and excellent service. They paid attention to the refills and when to approach for dessert. A smooth and cool experience.
This place was amazing and enjoyed our experience overall. Will be coming back.
One of my favorite spots in downtown Phoenix! The menu and atmosphere are unique. I love the options. If you want a big, comfort food meal, they have delicious options. But if you want something lighter, you can select a gourmet cheese, meat and deviled egg combination, or a great salad. Great beer and wine list is available. The service has always been outstanding. Make reservations! It is often busy!
Excellent service. Food was delicious. Drinks were creative. Our waiter provided excellent suggestions, he was very attentive.
We had a symphony to catch and they were great to speed the meal. The food and drinks were fabulous!
The Arrogant Butcher delivers excellent food and attentive service. Prices are a little on the high side, the room is loud and the location downtown is anything but scenic. We'll be back for the right occasion.
The scallops were some of the best I ever had. I was there with 9 people and all of them raved about their entrees. From the pork chop to the scratch made fries everything was superior.
Great food! Highly recommend for downtown meetings or personal dining as well. Always get a reservation when you can. They are generally busy and popular
Waiter was great. Food was delicious.
Ty is an amazing server. Very friendly and conscientious to our special dietary needs.
The restaurant was really busy, we arrived on time but had to wait 15min to be sat which is no big deal. But I think they were also very understaffed. The server didn't acknowledge us for about 10 minutes, and then it was just to grab the white card off the table as he flew by and said he'd come back. Another 5 minutes he was back. We were ready to order everything from drinks to entrees by then, so we did. The drinks took a really long time, too. They were good. The food also took longer than expected, at this point making us 30 min late for our event. The food is SO GOOD though! I would just leave a lot of time if you come here, or to any of the Fox restaurants, because we have experienced slow service here as well as at Culinary Dropout in Tempe and in Scottsdale. They seem to know a lot about food, but not a lot about service or staffing.
It started off ok, not a great place to take a customer for a business meal. My customer thought the service was poor and the name should have been the Arrogant waiter. My customer asked a couple of questions about the Oysters and the waiter although trying to be funny made fun of my customer (I am sure unknowingly, but since he did not know where they were from or their occupation, may have refrained from comment as it came across as an insult). Our meals were ok, the oysters were good, drinks were good, we ordered an appetizer (meat/cheese platter) and it did not come seems like an honest mistake/misunderstanding. We received our meals, One of the Filets was over cooked, the other filets were ok not great flavor, the desert was dry and was like eating pure sugar (hot chocolate cake), not much chocolate flavor (2 orders). Despite, it was just an ok experience.
