The food and service as always was good. However the hostess wouldn’t seat us till exact time of our reservations. We were there on a Tuesday night and the place was empty. There was no reason to make up wait 30 minutes.

The food was really great. I went with a friend and she misheard a menu item and wasn’t what she expected and she didn’t have to pay for it.

Excellent, accommodating staff seated 5 visitors straight from the convention center in a quiet table outside (with windshields) after energetic cocktails in the lively bar. Food, mostly - surprise - exellent lean meat, was all well-prepared and mighty tasty. A special shout out for the kale/brussel sprout salad - could order that again and again. Didn't try the charcuterie offers but they looked excellent at the next table.

Unfortunate.
The ratings did not match reality.
More of a bar hangout to watch a game.

Good atmosphere and convenient before a Suns game. Had their cheeseburger and expected it to wow me given they tout the meat and seafood. I felt the food was overpriced and have had better burgers at quick joints.

The crab stuffed chicken is a must try. If you're in the mood for a sandwich then try the turkey
pastrami on pretzel bun.

We had a reservation before the Symphony and checked in ten minutes early. Were told we could not be seated until our reservation time despite open tables so told the hostess we would be seated at the nearby bench. Were forgotten and not seated until ten minutes after our reservation time. Despite our getting up and asking to be seated at our time, one hostess finally came over and asked our name. Were seated in a booth immediately opposite the kitchen entry in an area that reeked of seafood. Multiple people bumped into our table it was so close to the entrance. Had asked when we were seated if we could sit elsewhere and the hostess said she would have to check but since we were already late we sat down - huge mistake on our part. There was also a very large private party in the back and our booth was right in the pathway to/from the restroom for them. Our server Chelsea was the only good thing about the experience - she was excellent. Trout for $23 was tasteless and way overdone, extremely dry. Pretzels and cheese fondue is always good.
Have been to AB several times but will choose another area restaurant in the future after this experience. The reception hostess who worked on Saturday night wearing a silver dress that showed her upper thigh tattoo does you no favors. Business was very good so maybe repeat customers are not a priority.

Even though the restaurant was Extremely busy, Steve's service was spot on. His timing was perfect, made suggestions that were helpful. He knew the specials and the menu forward and backward. Just an amazing evening and experience.
Definitely will get in there again and often.

The heirloom beet salad was exceptional and the best part of the meal. The fried shrimp appetizer and the fish and chips I would pass on though and order something different next time.

This restaurant was recommended by some friends, but we found the food greasy and bland, especially the entrees. The seating was okay and the ambience didn’t seem to match the menu. The bright spot was kind and attentive staff. I wish I could give a better review.

Awesome meal and the staff was excellent. We went for our 20th anniversary and I think every team member acknowledged the milestone. We sat on the patio, if we get the opportunity to go again (we do not live in Phoenix) I would sit inside. There were several homeless people hanging outside the table area, one even approached some diners. The staff was on top of this though and promptly asked them to leave and then there was a security presence along the sidewalk. The food was beyond good, I had the filet and my husband had the jambalaya. We enjoyed the soft pretzel appetizer, definitely recommend this treat.

The service staff tried, but were clearly overwhelmed with the number of tables they were responsible for. We waited 40 minutes between our starter and entrée. All dishes we tried were very salty.

We sat outside with our dogs, the tables were nicely spaced. Staff were friendly although service was a little slow (it was a busy Friday night). Food range and quality great. Drinks also very nice. Would go back, although there is a huge construction site next door so it can be a little noisy

Food is always very good and sometimes great. Service is top notch. This is a great place to eat if you are doing anything downtown. Just make sure you get there early on game nights or have reservations if you are going to the theater.

When I called to make a reservation, they said they couldn't make a reservation for me within the hour (I was calling 45 minutes before the requested time). They wanted to push me back 30 minutes after my requested time, but we had a concert to get to. So, once I hung up the phone, I was able to get my requested reservation time on Open Table. I didn't really appreciate that level of service, and had to take things into my own hands, in order to get what we wanted; Opentable.

Once we were there, we were placed by the noisy kitchen, elbow to elbow with two other diners, although my reservation indicated date. When we requested to be reseated, they were accommodating, and the replacement seating was a huge improvement, but again, I had to take it into my own hands, and do the thinking for the staff.

Once the filet came out, it was red with blood oozing, although I had ordered it cooked medium, with a description that it be, "pink."

They were nice about taking them back, and heating them up a little more. I was so pleased that I shared my enthusiasm with the server about how it was done medium, and she said, "No, that's medium well." I just told her that every restaurant does it differently; I know, I travel the world.

The food tasted amazing, absolutely amazing and the Uptick (I think was the name of the Cabernet) was to my liking.

Overall, great food, great service, questionable problem solving ability on the part of the staff.

Their ability to problem solve, in order to in order to have a seamless visit, needs improvement. E.g. give patrons their reservation even if they telephone, don't seat a date by the noisy kitchen when there are more quiet, and romantic crevices of the restaurant, don't serve a bloody steak when patron requests medium/pink, and don't correct the guest when they are expressing gratitude, and reiterating their request.

Good food and a good gastro-pub that is walking distance from the Convention Center. We had the slow cooked prime rib stew which I would call a “high-end” comfort food. We also ordered the scallops which were served on a mixture of sweet potato and deconstructed caramelized maple brussel sprouts. This was as good, or better, then the perfectly cooked Diver Scallops. All in all, great food, good vibe and perfect location if staying in the Downtown Phoenix area.
