Ty was amazing! Very knowledgeable and welcoming. He also recommended what I believe is another Fox restaurant to try on our trip to Chicago. The food was also amazing, everything we could ever want! And the presentation of our birthday desert platter was greatly appreciated.
Seated quickly and drinks/food were really good!
We ordered steak and salmon and both really enjoyed our entrees. Nice drink selection and quick service! Would highly recommend.
First of all, we arrived and was put in one of the back rooms, where it was extremely bright and tight. The table next to us was very loud. When I made the reservation, I request a booth - which there are no booths in the back room. The server was not attentive. He let water go unfilled the entire evening. The food this evening was not like it was in the past - It was sub-par. $100 later, I was ready to leave - and fast.
Service was pretty mediocre. Food was good.
Parking is terrible. We did not know they offered parking underground - no signage - until we paid $20 a block away. The food was fabulous!!! Service was very slow and she was forgetful, but again....the food was fabulous!
It was a nice dinner. Didn’t feel especially “celebrated” despite notating it.
Food was very disappointing. We alerted you in advance this was our wedding anniversary.
Nothing happened. Why do you bother to ask?
Good food and service!
Hostesses were friendly and greeted us upon arrival. We were seated a bit after our reservation, but being a holiday and events occurring the wait wasn't too bad.
Great overall experience.
My wife and I went there for a pre-concert meal and it took almost 45 minutes for our food to come out. It was semi-busy, but it shouldn't take 40 minutes for a grilled chicken salad and prime rib. Tables that were sat after us received their orders well before ours came out. We had to ask the server why it was taking so long rather than he acknowledging it and keeping us updated. Definitely will not be going back.
Disappointed with the pretzel fondue. The cheese lacked flavor. The chopped salad was fresh and a great portion. The trout was amazingly good. I would get that again. I would come back just for the trout. The drink orders took awhile but in their defense it was a busy weekend. Waiter was very nice and checked back appropriately. I will be back.
The menu is very simple without a lot of selections. I thought the prices were too high for the quality of food.
Our server Steven was great!! Great personality and very helpful. We love the atmosphere and food is always the best !
It was ok, not as great as I was expecting. Ordered Moscow Mule, not served in a copper mug and although they claimed it was ginger beer, it was not. Other drinks were fine. Overall the food was really good. Waiter seemed annoyed with us after we returned the Moscow mule. Service was not great.
Oustanding food and service.
Our server was not very friendly, in fact quite “arrogant”. Perhaps we should have expected that.... after all the name of the restaurant is “the Arrogant Butcher!!”
The food was good . . . when we finally got it. Had to beg for a straw for the drinks, never saw the waiter after the meal was delivered, and it took about 30 minutes to receive our food - a sandwich and the pretzel appetizer. We sat in the bar area and could barely hear each other speak over the noise, but I guess that should be expected in the bar area. Not complaining about the noise, just know that if you want to have a conversation then go to the dining area.
Superb food and service. Ian was excellent, will definitely recommend and return!
In addition to great food, I was treated with a customer-service experience as if I was a party of 20...but I was alone. Definitely demonstrates what 'great food, great service' is all about!
Food was good. Service was good but waiter asked me about dessert before I finished my meal and brought the check before I finished dessert
The food is all made fresh in house - it was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the charcuterie made with the chef's choice of ingredients. It had all kinds of meats, olives, cheese, peppers - crusty French bread drizzled with balsamic vinegar and even deviled eggs. It was fun and tasty for everyone at the table to enjoy. My husband's prime rib was excellent as was my son's AB cheeseburger and my daughter's ravioli. They also offer a great selection of beer and cocktails. I bet happy hour would be awesome too, we will definitely return whenever we visit downtown Phoenix.
Always great food & good services, the location before the game is always a plus.
Bring back the Turkey Sloppy Joe... Please!
Ordered their famous tacos and all of us were disappointed with the dish. Cold fish, taco shells were cold and rubbery not sure why they’re so famous for these taco’s
Our waiter was awesome!
Delicious and awesome environment! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family.
Nice lunch for Fathers Day
Waiter was awesome!
Food was good, not great or memorable. Nice place for a consistent type meal, just no wow factor.
Amazing food and service.
Waiter was fantastic.
A slightly upscale TGIF.
One would believe that the butcher’s platter would be the signature dish at a place named The Arrogant Butcher - the platter came with small servings of second rate deli meat, salmon cream cheese, a loaf of bread, and other accoutrements, which was a weak presentation of such a dish. Coupling this with slow service, a noisy atmosphere, and a price point at which I would expect inspired dishes, the Arrogant Butcher has no reason to be arrogant.
Great food and excellent service. I would highly recommend this place for dinner!!!!
We had heard such great things, but our experience was very disappointing. We felt very unwelcomed from the moment we walked in. I had made a reservation, so we would have good seating. The hostess wanted to place us in the bar area, we asked to be in the dining room, then she wanted to place us in a very small booth, we then asked for the larger booth and received it. One of us ordered prime rib medium rare. The center was raw and returned. Then we got it back very well done throughout. The potatoes were terrible (although highly recommended), so we asked if we could get the other potato choice instead. We were then charged additionally for them; but then she took it off the bill. It was definitely not worth the money we spent. Everyone was very unfriendly.
Our table was overall disappointed by the quality of food. It’s a busy place, the hostess is indifferent to customer needs and the vibe is a fast paced environment - get them in and get them out. If the food was better, I’d give a better review, but the cost/quality is not in balance. They can do better.
Absolutely incredible food! Service was a little slow but definitely worth the wait!
Brian was our server and was very friendly and great at sharing with us his favorites, etc.
Food was fine - I felt it was a bit sodium laden. The salted carmel pudding was terrific. The serving staff was efficient.
Food and service was great. A little too noisy.
Everything was excellent
Great ambience and food. Went here before a Diamondbacks game. Loved it!
Great food and an amazing server. Highly recommend.
