The Abergavenny Arms serves a delightful mixture of traditional English and Modern European cuisine. Our Executive Chef, Craig Wales sources the ingredients from local producers wherever possible and all our food is freshly prepared and created in our kitchen. Cat , Claire and the Team provide a warm welcome and are here to ensure you have a memorable gastronomic experience. Food is available everyday (this may be vary depending on government restrictions). As one of the oldest Pubs in the country , dating back to 1450, we have a relaxed cosy restaurant with open fires and aged oak beams, and in the warmer days you can enjoy our sun trap garden with far reaching views over the Eridge Park Estate. We offer plenty of parking and friendly dogs are welcome in the lounge bar and garden.

Lovely menu, nice to have tapas too especially at lunch time. Excellent service and staff and food was very good. Will be returning.

Advertised as a gastropub and it certainly is! The food was perfect and ingredients local. I had Sussex blue cheese tart followed by calves liver, bacon and mash and my husband had duck in hoisin for starter and warm salmon niçoise fit his main: all delicious. He had a Sussex beer (Harvey’s). There was ample car parking and the pub was situated on the main road so no need to go off-route.

Warm welcome, excellent food and good choice of dishes. Harveys a real bonus too! Considering the size and quality of the dishes, we felt it was excellent value. Really enjoyed our evening and would definitely visit again.

Went for Sunday lunch. Great ambience, good food and efficient and engaging service. Finished with a drink in the separate bar. All round a very enjoyable experience and good value for money.
