Wow! To have a seasoned waitstaff is the best. (Thank you, Tim, for being at the Westin for nearly 3 decades!)

Our food was delicious and creatively prepared/presented. The whiskey list was ample and the wine list was thoughtfully chosen.

In four days, we found ourselves here 6 times.

It was close to the hotel and well rated so we popped in for dinner. We started with drinks while we looked at the menu. The menu was different than what Open Table referenced. It is an eclectic selection to be polite. We didn't find anything interesting we wanted to try and went downstairs to Oceanaire instead.

Our waiter was AMAZING. The manager even stop by twice to check on us. If you go, please get the crabcake and tenderloin. I will definitely be back. And the Dallas Parkway Cocktail was tasty.

The value was awesome for the amount of food we received. I was very cold in the restaurant and wish the temperature was average but the food was good and the service was great.

Great place to meet before heading out shopping or to grab a bite after shopping at the Galleria. Good food. We had breakfast and the menu options were great and not too pricey. Also good for business breakfast or lunch or for conversation.

I ordered a Summer Chopped salad as it was vegetarian and full of veggies. The manager came over shortly after I placed my order and said they had to change out the lettuce and would that be ok? It would be lettuce wedge instead of other greens. I asked if the only thing changing was the greens and he said yes, so I agreed.
I got my salad and it was now a wedge salad... with ranch and walnuts. Noo veggies aside from some caramelized onions. I wasn't happy but didn't want to complain. Then I took a bite and realized there was bacon mixed in with the onions.
As a vegetarian that follows the practice for religious and allergy reasons, this was not ok. They took the salad away and said they're so sorry but the salad I had originally also ordered had bacon in it. I confirmed on the menu that it did not. I wouldn't go here again if I was paid to.
Our server then said when he brought the check, "we went ahead and took the salad off the bill." Umm, yeah no kidding, I didn't eat it because it wasn't at all what I ordered!
This was no better than a typical hotel restaurant. I wasn't aware when I made the booking that it was inside the Westin. Had I known that, I wouldn't have booked it and could have been spared the poor service.

My wife & I had a Date Night to Celebrate our B-Days. We expected to have a nice quiet meal, good conversation, and not have to deal with our, or anyone else's kiddos. At entry, we were greeted by the appropriate staff, and seated at a nice quiet table at the furthest backend of the Restr., which was our request after looking over the layout of the seating location. To our pleasure, we noted there were no families with "a bunch of kids", so perhaps we had made an accurate choice for a 'Quiet Dinner Date location'. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and was just getting ready to order our meal, when the National Lampoons Family, starring a now much younger Chevy Chase comes in with his wife and... {you got it LOL ;-) }, the entire entourage of four young children. All of which were most likely 6 and under Actually, the kids [for being kids] were pretty well behaved. So, it was not a train wreck. The food was good, but portions are a little stingy. Location provided a very diligent and attentive wait staff. Overall, in spite of it not turning our exactly as we had hoped as far as the 'Dining Atmosphere', my sweetie and I still had a fantastic time, and we also have a good story, and had a good chuckle.

By the way, the reason we put down, "Would not recommend to a Friend", is because we wouldn't want to recommend this location to our married friends for a 'Date Night', and them experience a similar situation. Some of our friends possibly wouldn't be as good natured about it as us. If they have a negative experience, let them find it all by themselves. LOL

The service was wonderful and the ambiance was lovely. The food was just ok for the prices that were charged. My shrimp was ok and the steak was overcooked.

The Second Floor was a great place to take a loved one for their birthday. I reserved a table for two for my boyfriend and I because of his birthday, and they gave us a free dessert and even gave him a birthday card. It was really sweet to see that each of the employees signed it. The food was really good, and the pricing wasn't bad at all! We were able to get an appetizer, four drinks, and two entrees for only $75. I was looking to spend around that much (maybe even more) that night anyway. This restaurant was really worth the visit, I would definitely go back there. The staff there was also very attentive and didn't have any problems with getting you what you needed. It really felt like we were in a five star restaurant.

My husband and I had dinner here on Friday. The dinner and the experience was marvelous. The staff, the food and the ambiance was amazing. We went on a travelzoo special which made it all the more a time.
We went back the next afternoon for brunch, what a total difference service and food. I ordered the shrimp and grits plate and my grits were cold so I sent it back. The kitchen not only microwaved the grits but the shrimp too which changed the texture of the shrimp. The onsite supervisor was clueless. The noise from kitchen was unprofessional.
I have an idea of the restaurant, go in the evenings for a lovely experience.

Good breakfast and decent service. There was a crying baby next to West which is kind of annoying but that's not the restaurants fault. However one of the reviews stated it would be a great place for a business breakfast and it's definitely not.
