A true gem in Statesville! Great service, fantastic food, wonderful ambience. Highly recommend, its worth the trip.
The food here is predictably good. Paige is an excellent waitress.....conscientious, personable and engaging.....didn't write our order down and it was perfect. This was our best experience here.....third time was the charm!
We always have excellent food and service when we dine at 220 Cafe. The owner Kelli is often there and visits every table and greets her customers. Its a wonderful restaurant to dine at in downtown Statesville!
My girlfriends and I LOVE THE 220 CAFE for our gno’s. The food is always amazing and the staff, superb. Cafe 220 never disappoints and Monday night was no exception. We had a beautiful, fun, friendly waitress and she took great care of us. Sorry, I forgot her name. And our food was great!
220 Cafe never ceases to satisfy. Living somewhat rural there are a small handful of restaurants within an easy driving distance that standout and 220 Cafe is one of them worth the drive.
Arrived 30 minutes before reservation, got seat immediately. Wait about 30 minutes for wait staff. From there the service was good, but slower than it should have based on the size of the restaurant. Outside of that, enjoyed the visit
Great as always!!!
The first two times, we’ve had a better visit but this time wasn’t so great. Our table was wobbly and located in not a great location where several times people were running into me and knocking my purse. The restaurant wasn’t even crowded so not sure why we had that table. Food was just okay. When entrees were served I hadn’t been given my salad yet, so my chicken got a little cold since I ate the salad first. Staff was nice, but cannot overlook the other things. Price also seemed a little high for what we received. The other two times we’ve came there was live music which made the trip more worth it.
Normally, one of our favorite restaurants. Was disappointed this night.
Filet Mignon was too done to be medium as ordered, and was a
little tough. Coffee ordered with dessert was weak and not very hot.
Great place to visit. Wonderful menu would satisfy both the vegan and the carnivore. Brussels sprouts are fantastic. Steak was beautifully cooked, great wine list and first class service. Go and enjoy.
The 8oz filet with mushrooms was delicious, as were the large asparagus spears. The service was excellent. There was an acoustic guitarist the night we were there, who was playing beautifully at a volume level that allowed conversation.
Restaurant said I had no reservation and it was extremely loud but the food and wine were very good, service was good but not great.
I'm always excited to go to 220 Cafe. They always hot the mark with service and especially the food. The fried goat cheese with honey drizzle is the bomb, one of my favorite appetizers.
The 220 is my favorite place to eat! It is a bit of New York resturant ambience in a small town ! Service is always on par!!!!!!
Delicious!!! Great music!!!
We were seated next to the music so we had to shout
Fantastic service and food. Everything we tried was delicious. They did have live acoustic guitar the night we were there which made the noise level slightly challenging, but we still managed great conversation with our friends. We can't wait to go back.
Appetizer was goat cheese, very good. Wife had the pork chop, it too, was good. I had the Mahi fish special. Scales were in many bites, fish was over cooked and therefore very dry. Had white and dark ,almost black meat and the black meat was like chewy fat. This was a bad piece of fish.
Ate outside on a warm winter day (70 degrees). Great service and good food. Wine recommendation was spot on. It was sipping saturday and got 20 off a 40+ bottle of wine. great deal.
Great food, service and music!
A welcoming staff and delicious food, 220 is our favorite restaurant in Statesville. Our burger was juicy and delicious, and the grilled salmon is superb. Outdoor dining is also available as weather permits.
My wife and I are big fans of 220 Cafe. The food is always excellent as well as the service. This dinner I had the special which was the rack of lamb, it was awesome and plenty of rack :-) Can't wait to go back again.
We went to The Cafe 220 for the first time with friends from out-of-town. They were quick to seat us and welcome us. The service was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The menu offered a very nice selection. Everyone enjoyed their selections. We will make The Cafe 220 a return visit.
So much fun!
Lovely outdoor dining, warm, welcoming staff - a place we return, again and again.
GREAT service, food was amazing. Entertainment was perfect
Traveling for family event. Overnight in Statesville. Looked online and found this downtown restaurant. Food was fine, wine fairly priced. Excellent service. Would definitely return .
Liz is incredible. We had a great time.
Met halfway for dinner in a town we don’t know and got lucky - we were really impressed! Shrimp and grits and salmon were excellent.
Great food and love this place. Live music was not the best this night and created more noise than entertainment. Overall highly recommended
This family run business is fantastic. It’s a hidden gem way up in Statesville, but well worth the drive. They quite possibly have the best pork chops and steaks in the region. Easy parking. Great service. We already plan on returning!
This was our first time at 220, and we had a wonderful experience. We were celebrating our anniversary, and they seated us at a table by the window. The service and food were excellent. We will definitely dine there again!
It was a beautiful evening in mid-September. We chose to eat outside. The street traffic on one of Statesville's main streets was sometimes quite noisy - a few loud motorcycles. But overall it was quite fine and we could easily converse.
Tables were nicely spaced and service was excellent.
I had the tuna special which was very good. (May liked a little more kick from the creamy horseradish or wasabi sauce. The tuna was cooked perfectly. ) My wife had the regular roasted salmon and eat every morsel.
We eat at 220 Cafe about monthly. It's a wonderful place for lunch or dinner.
Good food, good service.
Food very good Steak overcooked, was offered to redo but I declined with entrees to others already served Free dessert might have been nice I think was an isolated incident as usually spot on
The food and drinks were good and very reasonably priced. The service was exceptional.
Enjoyed our dining experience!
Great wait staff and excellent food. Amazing variety.
Great menu selection and small plate option. Go here all the time with my girlfriends because we love it so much!
This was a wonderful change from chain restaurants. My husband had the bone in pork shop, cooked just right, with mac 7 cheese and a salad. I had the dinner marinated chicken sandwich minus the bread with roasted red pepper, fontina cheese, spinach,. Great flavors A guitar player played music while we ate, adding to the ambiance!
