We had a wonderful lunch for my daughter's 18th birthday. The food was delicious and the service was prompt so that we could get back on the ski slopes. They presented us with a beautiful birthday dessert with my daughters name written in chocolate on the plate.

The view is wonderful. The building is lovely. Service is fair and the food is mediocre at very high prices.
Truffle fries were the best item we ate.
My vegetarian panini at $25 was very small, uninspired and the bread tasted as if it was from a white sandwich loaf. It was disappointing.
My husband ordered onion soup which was an unusual preparation. There were fresh undercooked onions in a clear soup with croutons and cheese sprinkled over the top. He thought it was “fine”. He had elk chili which was good.
The ratatouille was good and the hamburger was “okay” but brought to the table without ketchup. .
I must add that I have never written a negative review before, but I thought that since the food on Vail mountain and in Vail village is so good, The 10th should step it up a notch.

Best place to eat on Vail Mountain. Reservations recommended as walk-in area is small. Great menu. Expensive. Speed of service varies. Love the slippers provided in the boot closet to guests.

We love the 10th! Can’t come to Vail without having a late lunch at the 10th. Great food. Terrific service and atmosphere. I love the ability to be able to ski hard most of the day and meet up with some friends who are none skiers. The Gondola service for those friends is fantastic! We will be back!

They provide slippers and a changing room on the mountain- which is amazing. The food was good, but not great. The pot pie was amazing. The cocktails were also delicious. Definitely the best on-mountain dining if you are looking for something a little nicer than your typical lodge.

I've been to the 10th before and always enjoy the food and atmosphere. The view is gorgeous and taking off your ski boots and putting on slippers for lunch is great. Just be prepared for the prices. My friend and I each had a bowl of soup, split the fries and each had a drink. The bill was $89 before the tip. Also the waitress asked if we wanted a bowl or cup of soup and we each got the bowl. My friend kept saying - I bet she just upsold us without telling us by asking if we wanted the bowl! I don't think it specified that the price on the menu was for a cup. Sure enough, the $16 dollar soup I thought I ordered ended up being $24! Anyway, it was good. And a lovely experience. Just be prepared for the prices.

El restaurante estaba cerrado por mantenimiento!! No se nos avisó nunca! Una pena que hicimos que gente que ese dia no esquio pagara un lift ticket para subir y al final tener que comer en el snack de enfrente. PESIMO!!!

Such a special place! Hard to think of a place that has such a unique location being right in the middle of the Rocky Mountains, much less in the middle of one of the best ski mountains in the world! A really special place to create memories that will last a lifetime!

I've been to the 10th twice this week. Both experiences were fantastic. The wagu burger was perfect. The bolognesse so good. Had the pot pie today and I've never had better. Last year I ate here a few times and it was just so so. This year it's been money.

Scenic gondola ride out of Vail Village to this beautiful mountain top restaurant for lunch. Although a hot spot for skiers and families, it is classy with sit down service, creative meals and reasonable wine list. The chicken & pheasant pot pie was loaded with veggies and meat with a wonderful home-made flaky crust. Husband enjoyed a gourmet-style short rib sandwich. Staff very attentive, but be sure to have reservations. Very popular for good reason!

Get the lift ticket + dining voucher in Vail village. Plan on 50-yard+walk from top of gondola 1 to the restaurant. Food was very good. Would also recommend it for a special ski-in lunch.

Great food, ambience and scenery. Love to finish a ski day here with a late lunch. I wish it didn't cost so much on gondola passes for our non-skier friends to come up and join us. We had lunch at The 10th 3 out of 5 ski days.
