I've been to the 10th twice this week. Both experiences were fantastic. The wagu burger was perfect. The bolognesse so good. Had the pot pie today and I've never had better. Last year I ate here a few times and it was just so so. This year it's been money.

Excellent ski in ski out restaurant! A must do in Vail for lunch break! Oh and it has slippers you put on to give feet a rest from ski boots!

We’re regulars and we’re there for my wife’s 70th....oops wasn’t supposed to say that. Kathleen our server was perfect and Nicole the Beverage Manager and Ben at the bar were fantastic. Back there for lunch again today.

No WiFi is not really acceptable for a restaurant of this class. Install should be made a priority.

Everything was exceptional the moment we walked in the door.
Greeting was warm and friendly. Wait staff and sommelier wonderful. Pot Pie was delicious, wine selection very interesting! Beautiful views, gracious staff and terrific food.
The four of us enjoyed our lunch immensely.

Get the lift ticket + dining voucher in Vail village. Plan on 50-yard+walk from top of gondola 1 to the restaurant. Food was very good. Would also recommend it for a special ski-in lunch.

Great food, ambience and scenery. Love to finish a ski day here with a late lunch. I wish it didn't cost so much on gondola passes for our non-skier friends to come up and join us. We had lunch at The 10th 3 out of 5 ski days.

Excellent, expensive on-mountain gourmet dining. Have tried most of the menu - never had anything bad. Outstanding flatbreads (caprese is divine), pot pie is deliciously decadent (enough for 2-3 people), good fries/burgers, ratatouille is a tasty vegetarian option. Good espresso drinks. Gorgeous, high-ceilinged views of Mid-Vail, large coat room for gear, with slippers for a break from ski boots, bathrooms full of amenities. Hostesses could be more gracious, but most of the servers are very nice (talking to you, Sasha). Reservations recommended.

I ski Vail often and often have lunch at the 10th. Nothing in Vail is cheap but this is only 20% more than eating in on of their cafeterias. Very good service. not a hyuge menu but I've like everything I've tried.

This is just an overpriced cafeteria with very average food. I have NEVER had a main course presented to me whilst eating an appetizer before. When I asked them to bring the main course later, I was still eating my appetizer, so had to move it away to make room for the main course. No one took the appetiser away until prompted! We were in and out in under an hour, ate bland food, we're rushed, and it cost $184. No thanks, never again.

Lento el servicio para preparar una mesa y luego para tomar la orden y la llegada de platos. Teniendo un lugar maravilloso y gran ubicación podrían tener una carta más sofisticada.

Far and away the best dining on mountain, not that much more expensive than the frankly generally pretty poor alternatives (Wildwood is good, Two Elk and Mid Vail pretty poor) and delicious and comfortable (how can you not like being able to swap your ski boots for slippers). Worth doing at least once on your ski vacation, even though it takes a bit longer.

The view at the 10th is stunning, at a minimum and the service is exceptional. For the price, the food was disappointing. The flavors of our salad, soup and entrees were good, just not at the level of taste that you would expect at this level of a restaurant. Definitely come for the view and the service, and keep the expectations of the food at average and you will not be disappointed.

Our favorite "splurge" ski lunch spot on the mountain in Vail. Pampering you from the start with slippers after you take off your ski boots, it only gets better with the delicious food choices. We love the mussels with chorizo, the amazing chicken pot pie and the yummy warm bread fresh from the oven. It's pricey, and the service can be slow at busy times, but that's pretty common in Vail. The views of the mountain are spectacular, the only drawback is the big open cafeteria size dining room that loses a bit of intimacy, but does make for fun people watching. Reservations are a must during busy times, but if you forget, check out the bar...often you can grab a last minute spot. The worst part is having to put your boots back on to ski home!

The 10th is one of my favorite place in Vail.
I love to end my ski day with a late lunch at the 10th.
I was surprised is no longer open for dinner, it was beautiful come up at night on the Gondola and see Vail from the top of the mountain.
It was a kind of magic.

Always good to eat the 10th. We ‘ve been going for years and it is still the best thing on Vail mountain. Love the slippers! Food is good and the service as well.
Bar is great. Onky problem is, how do you ski down afterwards...

This is the perfect place if you want a beautiful setting with a great ambience. The service is top notch and the food is excellent too. We were celebrating my mom's (she doesn't ski) birthday and she was able to get there from the gondola with no problem. The restaurant went out of their way to make sure our experience was special. They also have a nice bar area which would be perfect for a stop after you're done skiing or between runs!
