Nice option on the mountain for a nice lunch.
Best place to eat on Vail Mountain. Reservations recommended as walk-in area is small. Great menu. Expensive. Speed of service varies. Love the slippers provided in the boot closet to guests.
Having the non skiers in group come up in mountain for lunch was great for group. -we had table of 12. Food excellent. Don’t miss this experience.
Always really good, third time this season.
We love the 10th! Can’t come to Vail without having a late lunch at the 10th. Great food. Terrific service and atmosphere. I love the ability to be able to ski hard most of the day and meet up with some friends who are none skiers. The Gondola service for those friends is fantastic! We will be back!
They provide slippers and a changing room on the mountain- which is amazing. The food was good, but not great. The pot pie was amazing. The cocktails were also delicious. Definitely the best on-mountain dining if you are looking for something a little nicer than your typical lodge.
I've been to the 10th before and always enjoy the food and atmosphere. The view is gorgeous and taking off your ski boots and putting on slippers for lunch is great. Just be prepared for the prices. My friend and I each had a bowl of soup, split the fries and each had a drink. The bill was $89 before the tip. Also the waitress asked if we wanted a bowl or cup of soup and we each got the bowl. My friend kept saying - I bet she just upsold us without telling us by asking if we wanted the bowl! I don't think it specified that the price on the menu was for a cup. Sure enough, the $16 dollar soup I thought I ordered ended up being $24! Anyway, it was good. And a lovely experience. Just be prepared for the prices.
El restaurante estaba cerrado por mantenimiento!! No se nos avisó nunca! Una pena que hicimos que gente que ese dia no esquio pagara un lift ticket para subir y al final tener que comer en el snack de enfrente. PESIMO!!!
Truffle Fries! Enough said. Great way to wrap up a day on the Mountain!
Beautiful view and great food. One of my favorite meals.
Servicio lento... aún así bueno.
Highlight of the day! Food and service were excellent. A treat to pull the ski boots off and enjoy a great meal with perfect views.
Was a wonderful experience ! I lost my cell phone on the mountain the receptionist were so wonderful in helping me try to locate the phone from inside the restaurant as well as being accommodating with having to push back our reservation. sommelier was wonderful and our waiter was exceptional in being able to help us navigate the wine list and make suggestions. wonderful experience , wonderful day thank you for a perfect 40th birthday and 15th wedding anniversary
Such a special place! Hard to think of a place that has such a unique location being right in the middle of the Rocky Mountains, much less in the middle of one of the best ski mountains in the world! A really special place to create memories that will last a lifetime!
Great place to have lunch on mountain. Had a 10th burger and it was fabulous! I am gluten sensitive and attention to that couldn’t have been better. Gluten free bread, fries, everything!
I was celebrating my birthday and our waiter and the staff at the 10th made my birthday lunch very special! Thank you for the amazing dessert!
Great meal on the ski hill — only downside was that the restaurant wouldn’t seat our party until everyone was there, but otherwise great!
Beautiful restaurant, magnificent view, great service, food was ok.
Great service, great food, and cool atmosphere
Service was incredible!
I've been to the 10th twice this week. Both experiences were fantastic. The wagu burger was perfect. The bolognesse so good. Had the pot pie today and I've never had better. Last year I ate here a few times and it was just so so. This year it's been money.
This place is such a stand out dining experience!
Scenic gondola ride out of Vail Village to this beautiful mountain top restaurant for lunch. Although a hot spot for skiers and families, it is classy with sit down service, creative meals and reasonable wine list. The chicken & pheasant pot pie was loaded with veggies and meat with a wonderful home-made flaky crust. Husband enjoyed a gourmet-style short rib sandwich. Staff very attentive, but be sure to have reservations. Very popular for good reason!
Excellent ski in ski out restaurant! A must do in Vail for lunch break! Oh and it has slippers you put on to give feet a rest from ski boots!
We’re regulars and we’re there for my wife’s 70th....oops wasn’t supposed to say that. Kathleen our server was perfect and Nicole the Beverage Manager and Ben at the bar were fantastic. Back there for lunch again today.
No WiFi is not really acceptable for a restaurant of this class. Install should be made a priority.
Best food and service on the mountain we love it, tomorrow we will be eating there for the third time
The food and service were wonderful and the setting was unbelievably gorgeous!!! We will do it again.
The pot pie was divine
Tony made it a great experience. Our 40th wedding anniversary on the slopes
Everything was exceptional the moment we walked in the door.
Greeting was warm and friendly. Wait staff and sommelier wonderful. Pot Pie was delicious, wine selection very interesting! Beautiful views, gracious staff and terrific food.
The four of us enjoyed our lunch immensely.
Get the lift ticket + dining voucher in Vail village. Plan on 50-yard+walk from top of gondola 1 to the restaurant. Food was very good. Would also recommend it for a special ski-in lunch.
Great food, ambience and scenery. Love to finish a ski day here with a late lunch. I wish it didn't cost so much on gondola passes for our non-skier friends to come up and join us. We had lunch at The 10th 3 out of 5 ski days.
Special place in the middle of a ski resort
Very well executed
Very good food and service
Excellent, expensive on-mountain gourmet dining. Have tried most of the menu - never had anything bad. Outstanding flatbreads (caprese is divine), pot pie is deliciously decadent (enough for 2-3 people), good fries/burgers, ratatouille is a tasty vegetarian option. Good espresso drinks. Gorgeous, high-ceilinged views of Mid-Vail, large coat room for gear, with slippers for a break from ski boots, bathrooms full of amenities. Hostesses could be more gracious, but most of the servers are very nice (talking to you, Sasha). Reservations recommended.
Really needs to offer WiFi.
Our meal was delicious but the wait staff was superb! Finally a restaurant with polite and professionally trained staff who know from which side to serve and clear without reaching over the clients.
I ski Vail often and often have lunch at the 10th. Nothing in Vail is cheap but this is only 20% more than eating in on of their cafeterias. Very good service. not a hyuge menu but I've like everything I've tried.
