About The 10 Cases - Bistrot à Vin
The 10 Cases is an unpretentious buzzing little Bistrot with wine as its main focus. We only ever buy 10 cases of the wines that you will find on our short list in order to constantly try new things rather than settle for a list of old favorites.
We only have 10 tables, which you can book for lunch or dinner. We also have an outside terrace, bar counter and Cave a Vin next door which remain reservation free for drinks and snacks.
Our menu revolves around a monthly changing offering of tapas style dishes and sharing plates, 3 entrees, 3 mains and 3 desserts as well as a selection of daily changing specials.

The 10 Cases - Bistrot à Vin Ratings and Reviews
Stunning collection of wines. Definitely the wine place. Food is rather an addition but still excellent. If you're mainly for some wine and talk rather than a feast definitely amazing place. We've been unlucky to be seated next to group of loud and primitive investment bankers but the experience definitely improved after they left and it got quieter and elegant.
As always a night out in Bistrot a Vin was perfect, it had been a while and service was just as good. We had a beautiful bottle of Sancerre from next door too. The squid and iberica croquetas fo start with, followed by truffled parsnip soup, quail with lentils and then a vanilla cheesecake with quince was all very delicious.
i am so sad to write this. after having several wonderful experiences at ten cases, i must say this one was not good. Service staff except for one did not know the wine list, starters were indifferent, and the main course was seriously undercooked. after pointing this out to the staff, we got a shrug.
I have adored this place for several years, it must have been a bad night
I've been a couple of times for work and loved it, so I took my partner for a birthday lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It's not showy or pretentious, quite simple and not a large restaurant, but the food and wine were fantastic and the staff very friendly. Real quality. It's not cheap but as a treat, worth it. I noticed a downstairs room where you could have a private party which could be very nice too.
We went to the 10 Cases in Covent Garden before going to the Donmar Warehouse around the corner--very convenient, and the service is excellent so we were in plenty of time for the theatre. I'm not happy that they charge a cover for water and bread--it just doesn't seem right when the food is so expensive. Having said that, that parsnip soup with truffle was delicious as was my old favourite, soft shell crab with avocado. My husband enjoyed the salmon starter and trout main.
This restaurant always pleases. Combination of small plates menu and short traditional menu works very well, so choice is simple and always well executed. First time I have had confit duck here and it was a pleasure. my wifges loves the sioft shell crab and the squid Wine list is interesting and is also shortish yet covers most major wine regions. Ability to have a 500cl carafe is a plus when a bottle is just a bit more than required. Staff are friendly , welcoming , now the menu and wine and are efficient.
First time here for lunch. Small plates are what they say they are as was cheese but you come here for the fantastic wines they have which vary so often the web list didn’t reflect that days Wine offering- but what we had is enough to bring us back. Most if not all wine vailable by the glass and 50cl as well as bottles. Amazing list of rare and expensive wines dotted on scrolls around the walls. Also not on the usual tourist Covent Garden route so when we went very pleasantly quiet.
A charming bistro near Covent Garden.
The food rivals many of the better bistros in Paris!
Outstanding tapas style plates: Filet of beef (£8), fried squid, and the best beetroot salad I’ve ever had! (£7)
Great for group to share, they also have lovely and ever-changing mains.
Quite a gem...
My sister chose this restraurant and it was decided on the wine list over everything else.
The wine did not disappoint, it was extremely delicious and the staff were extremely professional and friendly.
As we were mainly there for the wine, we decided to just grab some bits off the menu for sharing, meat platter, olives, and some bread.
We also ordered some ham and cheese croquettes which were absolutely delicious!
It's a lovely atmosphere, especially for an intimate meal. (Probably not for my sister and I when we have a glass of red and become even louder and more giggly).
It was very pleasant.
Lovely little bistrot tucked a way in a side street in Covent garden. We found it a few years back by chance and this was only our second visit. Loved it the same. Food and service is great. It's a pity you have to give your table up after 1.5 hours, but they do warn you when you book and when you arrive. As it is small and busy, the noise levels can be a bit high, didn't bother me much but my partner was not too happy.
