Brought my boyfriend here for his birthday, our very first time visiting here. Received excellent service and really loved our food! Ordered some mussels as our appetizer based on the suggestion of our server: they were SO good! Looking forward to returning soon.

I had a wonderful time. The wait staff was terrific, the food was wonderful and if you can get a window seat to enjoy a very unique unobstructed view of Seattle do so. Very good value and terrific food a true neighborhood gem.

I love coming to this place . It is tucked away in a very cute neighborhood. Service is always great and the Italian food selection is fantastic. I love that there are still resturants around that are family owned and care about their customers .Don't ever change the charm you have . We have been fortunate to have Guy as our server and you can tell he loves what he does. Thanks for making out visit special and we look forward to coming back more often.

Eat here! Small neighborhood restaurant with amazing views of Seattle's sky line. Food was fresh, high quality, and well presented. The bread, salads, and entrees were well thought out and had their own unique attributes. For example, the bread is made on site and has rosemary added. Yummy! The desserts are also either made on site or by a neighboring artisan baker.
There was even a man I assume to be the chef popping out of the kitchen occasionally in his white jacket. We made a reservation to ensure a table, as it's a small, cozy place. The tables are close together and it can get a little loud, but we didn't mind. We watched the lights of Seattle downtown turning on as we ate our dinner. The servers were friendly and proactive with bringing bread, refilling drinks, and keeping our dinner moving forward without feeling like we were being rushed. It was our best meal during our trip to Seattle. Make a reservation and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

That’s Amore is my favorite restaurant. We’ve been celebrating at this neighborhood restaurant for 20 years. The food is always excellent, the daily specials are creative and delicious and you won’t find a friendlier wait staff and chef!

I suggested this place, having several past experiences, to 4 female friends who meet every so often at various restaurants. None had been here before and all want a quieter restaurant where we can talk. They loved the table by the window with the awesome view and were most complimentary about the food. We all particularly liked the risotto dishes, both appetizer and entree. Great service!!

I will be back!

It's beyond me why it took so long for us to visit this restaurant. Had we known how incredible it is, it would have shot to the top of our list of "must try's" a long time ago. What a great, out-of-the-way, but totally convenient location; street parking was a non-issue. It has a wonderfully comfortable and inviting atmosphere and if you're lucky, you'll nab a table with an enchanting view of the city. Service is a lovely balance of warm, genuine and knowledgeable. The food, though, is the star. This small, neighborhood restaurant turns out sophisticated dishes with outstanding flavor and presentation. We are SO happy to have found this restaurant and will no doubt be back many times to come.

This is indeed a neighborhood gem. A few issues -- for a bolognese being extremely hot and spicy was not a happy surprise. And they forgot one soup and it took quite awhile to finally bring it to the table with no compensation to the diner. But otherwise, the soup was excellent and the rest of the food very very good.

This is the best Italian Restaurant I have ever been to. The marinara sauce on the risotto cakes was amazing. The pasta is fresh homemade and everything else was from scratch. I wish we lived closer because I would eat here all the time. The staff was very friendly with great service. There were two downsides. I found a hair in my risotto cakes, and the two tables with a view had sun pouring in them so the shades had to be closed part of the time (the shades were ratty looking and need of replacement). That said, the food was superior to any Italian food I've had (which is a lot since both me and another family member married into Italian families).

My bff and I went for a girls' night out. This was my second time at That's Amore and her first. We both had specials which were absolutely fantastic. She had Risotto with Mussels and I had New York Steak with Gnocchi. Delicious! For dessert she had Key Lime Cheesecake and I had the Carrot Cake. They were alright but nothing in comparison to the entrees. The wait staff is delightful and I look forward to my next visit!

Loved the view, food and service. My only hesitation is the noise level. It would be tough for anyone who is slightly hard of hearing to be a part of the conversation due to the too high din. Some noise-absorbing surfaces would serve this darling neighborhood resto well.

Our guests wanted to go to an Italian restaurant. Had not been here in years. Wow, our mistake. The food was excellent, from the Bruschetta to Chicken Picatta to the Risotto to the Tagliatelle. All were done perfectly. We will be going back soon.

The food is amazing and the view can't be beat. I love this neighborhood, what a gem. Suggestions for improvement - the lighting was too bright (they turned it down upon request), put candles on the tables, and train the staff (they seem a little new/not knowledgeable). We will be back!
