That Meetball Place
Our idea began years ago when we realized the simplicity of the meatball and how it is a comfort food to many. We all grew up with our Grandmothers making Sunday dinner and "The Meatball" being the focal point of the day. We cherish those days of coming together with our families and the memories we created. Our goal here at "That Meetball Place" is to create an atmosphere for friends and families to gather together and enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed environment with a great vibe and simple food like grandma used to make. Our chef has taken fresh ingredients and developed meatballs, salads & sides to satisfy everyone in your family. We are excited for you to join us on this journey and please make us your "Place to meet and have a ball!"
Nice casual restaurant. Interesting choices of meatballs and sauces
Enjoyed our first visit & would return! Kids devoured the “ballchos” aka nachos. And I don’t blame them they were delicious! My husband enjoyed sampling the different “meet”balls and the accompanying sauces. I wasn’t impressed with my salad but I’m to blame... this isn’t the place for a salad! Great atmosphere. Very friendly service. We’ll be back!
apparently many of ya recipes changed and the server never told us. we had to send a dish back it was soooooo garlicky!!! service was great until after we got our food then the waitress seemed to vanish maybe because it started to get busy?? kids were supposedly to get dessert and we had to remind the waitress she never asked if we wanted any dessert. overall not as good as in the past unfortunately.
Love the food , service and ambiance excellent. Music a little on load side. I prefer background music, not a concert when I eat out, but that’s me. Overall, Excellent!!
The food, service and staff are excellent. I would definitely recommend The Meatball Place to anyone looking for good value and service.
The food was excellent. Service was excellent. Staff was very accommodating when we asked for a bigger table to be more comfortable.
Great creative menu. Always a wonderful experience
Food was excellent. Server Veronica was Fantastic. The music was much too loud! The guitar player was much too loud. We were sitting near the rear of the resturant and still had an difficult time speaking. It took away from us enjoying the great food.
Dan Mele was entertainment and was amazing
Atmosphere and Service great
Service and food were great; however, the live music was way too loud.
A table for 7 on a Friday at 6 was reserved. Food and service were great. The noise level was not with the music playing. We could not hear each other at our table.
Food and service were fine, some dishes were too cool, but they were heated up after mentioning it. Noise level was unbearable!!! Maybe we would try lunch, but dinner, never again on a Saturday evening!
It’s definitely not the place you want to go to if you’re looking for a nice quiet dinner as there is live music playing the entire time. The food was absolutely grotesque. I had nachos that were halfway decent, but had some kind of meatballs on top that tasted like maybe chili? I’m not certain what it was but they were horrible. They were the texture of crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. I had a simple classic spaghetti and meatball dinner. The sauce tasted like a pound of oregano was used and the meatballs tasted like dog food or worse. I did taste my husband’s rigatoni and his tasted just as bad as mine with a completely different sauce. The sausages in his meal were at least edible.
The waitress came over to take our order in a reasonable amount of time. Someone else delivered the appetizers and the waitress came over about 10 minutes later to see how we were doing. Then the main course came out and the plates were just pushed in between the appetizer plates. No one ever came to refill any drinks, or take away the used dishes. That left us with a completely packed and crowded table. We had to flag down the Waitress to get a drink refill. She was not waiting on any other tables, rather she was talking with coworkers. After she did the drink refill she did not come back to us for the rest of the night to where we had to flag down another waitress to ask for the bill and then had to use the same girl to take our payment. The bill for 4 people was $200 which was extremely costly for the poor quality of food and service. I will not return to this establishment. Worst experience by far.
Great time, delicious food, amazing service. Will definitely be back!
The food and service were excellent. I also liked the ambiance of the place. Would definitely recommend this place.
Great food and atmosphere. We sat in the back section where it is not as loud. Great place!!!
Classic meatballs tasted only alright. Wait staff was very nice. Quickly brought sauce to the table when we asked for some. Quickly replaced cappuccinos when we said they weren’t hot. Cleared plates quickly. Good music and people watching.
The staff was wonderful and the food was top notch. We will definitely be going back.
Great atmosphere. Lots of fun. Waiter was outstanding!
Our server Chris was terrific, the food and music were great!
Place was very good but probably won’t be back due to the horrendous lack of parking!!!! Two friends had to bail on our reservation because they spent 30 minutes driving around looking for parking before giving up and leaving the patchogue area.
Overall, service for us was extremely slow. I did not see a server for so long at one point that I had to go to the host to ask for someone to bring the check. I always like server recommendations the first time we go to a restaurant and we were literally told the entire list of appetizers that we just read through on the menu. The person that I'm assuming was the manager stood next to our table talking to another table about how she could talk about balls all day long. Unfortunately she was so close to our table for the 5 minute ball conversation that she kept bumping our appetizer and didn't notice. She also bumped my wife while leaving but did apologize for that. I would not recommend her balls.
The Brunch was great! The food was delishous would defenately go again
It was very loud in the restaurant & the seating is close. We had the lobster bisque, which was fantastic! My husband had the buffalo chicken flat bread & I had the meatball sampler (chicken with feta & spinach with tzatziki sauce, crunchy chicken with buffalo& bleu sauce & lobster risotto with pancetta cream). We also shared the garlic, Asiago pretzel. The pretzel was GINORMOUS! It came with marinara, pancetta & cheddar, we felt the marinara was the best paired with it. My husband loved the flatbread & I enjoyed the meatballs, my favorite was the spinach & feta & I don’t really care for red peppers & they were in the lobster risotto. We then had shakes, my husband had the campfire & I had the crushed Oreo. They were the perfect ending to a great night!
Complicated menu not being able to understand menu left me feeling I miss something And didn’t get to enjoy what I really wanted
The Meetball Place exceed expectations.
Food and service were great..Parking was alittle difficult..seating was near the bar, hence quite noisy..
All in all we were very happy and will return.
Who knew the extremes one could go with meatballs.
It's easily a favorite of ours. Food is fantastic, staff is attentive and it almost never disappoints. It's a fun, chill atmosphere and great food!
already planning a March Madness visit.
Have to go back before then.
I come past many restaurants' on my way from Babylon. Well worth the extra travel.
Love this place!!
The zucchini noodles are delish!
Wait staff is attentive.
Choice of sauces and meatballs is amazing.
My favorite is classic with ricotta cheese!
Food was fresh and tasty and Rachel made the experience extremely pleasant with her attentive service.
We were there to celebrate our Anniversary with our kids. We had a Gift Certificate and have always wanted to try it out since it opened. We had great service, great food and all we did on the way home was talk about our food. Great place to come and we will definitely come back and recommend to our friends and family who haven’t been here yet. Friendly staff makes for a great meal. We were very happy to patronize!!!! Ready for Round Two!!!
Had three different meatballs with three different sauces and all were delicious. Had the lobster, steak, and crispy chicken balls. I asked the staff for sauce recommendations which were spot on.... Lobster mac and cheese was suprisingly light and delicate which i really enjoyed. Hanging soft pretzel was a great appetizer for the table. Service was attentive and servers were always available without being intrusive. Noise level was easy to hold a conversation during a Thursday lunch. This is the second time i have been to this restaurant and it was excellent last time too. .....I appreciate consistency.
We went with another couple and loved it! There was such a variety of meatballs and cuisine...and over 6 types of mac and cheese! Everyone's meal was excellent and the prices super reasonable. We will definitely be back!
I live the sampler. The server was helpful with the selections and sauces.
What stands out the most to me about this restaurant was the friendliness and competence of the staff. It was New Year's Eve and the staff could not do enough for us. The efficiency was phenomenal. The food was great too. This is a very festive and upbeat place to go for Happy Hour.
This was my second visit. Food and service are excellent and prices are very reasonable.
I went to see a show in Patchogue with my family and made reservations at That Meetball Place for dinner. We were all so impressed by the food, service and management. Highly recommend the Brooklyn Sunday Dinne entree!! Will definitely be back
The food was amazing and there was a lot of gluten free options ! Also kid friendly. We will definitely be back !
It is a nice place but the food was average. Their chili was pretty good but the rest is, for us, traditional bar food. The staff was very friendly. The place is best for locals.
