A place to MEET & have a BALL! We are brand new to Patchogue & couldn't be happier to serve our local community freshly prepared meatballs a variety of different ways.

Our idea began years ago when we realized the simplicity of the meatball and how it is a comfort food to many. We all grew up with our Grandmothers making Sunday dinner and "The Meatball" being the focal point of the day. We cherish those days of coming together with our families and the memories we created. Our goal here at "That Meetball Place" is to create an atmosphere for friends and families to gather together and enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed environment with a great vibe and simple food like grandma used to make. Our chef has taken fresh ingredients and developed meatballs, salads & sides to satisfy everyone in your family. We are excited for you to join us on this journey and please make us your "Place to meet and have a ball!"

It wasn’t busy during my visit but it took my waitress just shy 10 minutes to come and bring me water. Not very attentive staff, I had to ask a random person for more water.

I have eaten here, with my family, a number of times. We got the Bavarian pretzel, and oversized stuff garlic knot for appetizers. Good thing we did. The classic meatball dish we ordered with the oversized rigatoni only had a handful of actual pasta. This has happened before. Very small pasta portions, for whatever reason, blows my mind. Pasta is the least expensive part of the meal. Why?

I was there last night with my husband and we were very disappointed. We it took 40 minutes from when our appetizer came out until our food came out. When our meal came out the cheese in my chicken parm was not melted at all and was cold. Durning the time we were waiting for our meal only one person came over asking if we would like a box for the rest of our garlic knot. We were there for almost 2 hours and no one checked in on us, except when we were done asking about boxes. We have been there before and never had a problem. I don’t know if we would return based on our experience last night.

Once the bingo started - the waitress never came back for us to order additional drinks. We continued to try and flag her down, although she had no interest in coming back to our table. During the intermission she finally came back over, we ordered dessert and coffee/tea. She never brought the coffee/tea. She did bring the wine and dessert. She never cleared our table of our original food and just placed the desserts down. She also never gave us plates. It was a disappointing visit with the staff. We ended up being a table of 5 and were charged the 20% - Menu said 6 or more. Although we made reservation for 6 - we paid the gratuity without complaint. The bingo was fun the dragqueens were also a good time.

I have been to the Meetball Place a few times and suggested it to a friend who had never been. We had a great time. The food was delicious and there was a nice array of choices. Our waiter played double duty as waiter and bartender, as the place was relatively quiet when we arrived. He was amazing and very friendly. We arrived for Happy Hour and I believe after 6 there was a dj. A nice mix of music. Definitely a nice place to meet up with friends after work

Our first time there so had to try Grandmas Garlic Bread (we went with regular ricotta as I don’t eat Pesto) and “The meatball classic”. It was DELICIOUS! We will definitely be back!

They should not book a special event in the main dining room, and then broadcast the speeches on the speakers throughout the entire restaurant, and also host a small bachelorette party on the same night in the only other area where normal diners can sit. They changed the items on the menu but don’t tell you when you order… when I asked what happened when we received our food, they said that they changed their menu but haven’t printed them yet. What an obnoxious evening and a waste of over $100 for 2 people for dinner. Will never return, and I live in Patchogue village.

Great food! Excellent service! They were always on top of making sure everything was good with food, or if we wanted more drinks. Did not have to wait too long to get food/drinks orders, or not even wait much for food to come out. Definitely recommend!

We were there on Wednesday for a craft event, it was B1 G1 apps and beer night…we had delicious appetizers and Cobb salad was great! All the waitstaff and restaurants manager were awesome!

First timers and wanted to try a bit of everything. Classic meatball and Buffalo chicken were fabulous!! Steak Mac and cheese was great! The bacon and cheddar tots were more like a croquette and still really good!! Charlie was our server and attended to our needs and offered suggestions. We will be back again!!!

We wanted a place to eat before a concert , and online the food looked amazing. When we got there we were seated in the front bar area next to a full two tables loaded with younger people having a good time on a Saturday evening they were a little loud so we asked to be seated in the back area and our waiter was good except when we ordered the food I ordered the classic meatball which on the menu looked really delicious but when we received our food three of us got the meatballs they seemed small and dry and kind of spicy for my liking. It looks like a fun place to go with your friends and have a couple of drinks but as a restaurant it was lacking.
