We had traveled from PHL to dine there prior to afternoon matinee
I believe we should have been noticed before trekking there from Penn Station
The restaurant closed a week before our reservation for 10 people and neither they nor opentable called to let me know. Not only that, opentable sent an automated email to reconfirm the booking two days prior.
It had closed four days before I got there.i had to scramble for a pretheatre option
Confirmed reservation the day prior. Went to the restaurant before booking to find that it was closed with a sign on the door saying "thank you for 20 years of patronage." No prior warning. We had to scramble to find a nice place to eat as it was already 7:45 when we saw that the restaurant was closed.

I received an email from your website asking to confirm my reservation. I replied yes. We arrive at the reservation and there was a sign on the door. WE CLOSED AFTER 20 YEARS.
We then had to find a restaurant that would take us last minute. I am so disappointed with Open Table. you should know who your customers are.
I will not recommend open table.

It was closedown but Open Table still took my reservation . Very disappointing
I made this reservation on open table & obviously you do not know that the restaurant is closed. When I arrived there was a sign on the door saying restaurant closed after 20 years. Thank you for your patronage. My reservation was confirmed by you & I even received an email that day asking if I was showing up. I was embarrassed when I arrived with my out of town guests & had to look for an alternative venue. You need to keep up to date with the restaurant-how were you able to confirm if the place was closed.
Restaurant was closed! Open table needs to update its information.
We got to the restaurant pre theater and there was a sticker on the door that said closed and it was locked. Never got in. We were given no notice

The restaurant was closed. A man was inside and refused to speak to us. Horrible experience. Had to dine elsewhere. Why would I be able to make a reservation when the restaurant was closed????
Although Open Table confirmed the reservation, the restaurant was not open when we arrived. We waited for about 15 minutes and the restaurant still was not open. Another group of people also had a reservation waited for awhile, but also left. This was very disappointing because we have eaten at Thalia's many times and have always enjoyed it,
Made reservations and they were not open! Need to update information with Open Table if changing hours.
When we arrived the Maitre D informed us that the credit card machine was not working. We were seated and a waitress came over to ask if we wanted a drink. We choose Thalia because they have a decent fish and sushi menu.
Restaurant was closing at night for good! Dinner was poor service was adequate. If we had known that Saturday evening was going to be the last evening for this restaurant we would not have booked our dinner
Very disappointing.. Saturday noon reservation, given brunch menus, asked for lunch menu told only Monday- Friday . Outside restaurant on big displays are summer lunch, dinner & brunch menus. No where does it specify Monday- Fryday on lunch menu. We ordered off brunch menu. I asked for grllled asparagus, sorry we don't have, another guest ordered the yogurt, sorry we don't have.
Obviously no one went shopping. Noon they shouldn't be our of these items..
I'll go on .. French toast with Nutella & fruit .. asked for nutella on the side .. immediately we knew this was not nutella, it was chocolate syrup. ( Thankfully no.chocolate allergy)Another guest ordered avocado toast on 7 grain bread . The bread was whole wheat (maybe ) and not toasted. I asked the busboy to send over the manager. Our waiter came over and said how can I help you. I started explaining and stopped and asked if he was the manager as well as our waiter . He said THE MANAGER WANTED ME TO COME OVER AND THEN LET HIM KNOW WHAT I WANTED .I said please send over the manager. He came over and said you wanted to see me, what's the problem? I said you obviously know because you had the waiter report back to you . He said it's something about lunch menu? I said that was one issue .. telling him nowhere outside does it say lunch menu Monday -Friday, it's very misleading. He said that's what is.
Concerning the Nutella vs. the chocolate syrup .. he didn't address it and asked any thing else ? . I continued about the bread and not being toasted .. he said it is a grain bread .. is there anything else I can do for you .. I was appauled by his attitude and tone... And said anything else ? What have you done for me so far ??!
Paid the check .. & will not return ..
Menu way too limited. They used to have a nice pre-theater prix fix. They should bring it back. We wound having a very nice sushi dinner but only due to limited menu

Excellent service. We had brunch, went to the theater and came back for dinner. Wonderful value for NYC. Great menu. Red sangria was amazing!

Absolutely loved, the staff was one of the friendliest servers I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Food was good, amazing size for an NYC restaurant, bathrooms were also very clean. I can’t wait to go again.
Food was uneven, service was good. Beet dish was unsuccessful, steak was done perfectly. I use a wheelchair and was able to access my table OK.
AC was not working properly at lunch and it was quite warm
We ate brunch on a summer Sunday in August. The 20 dollar omelet and French toast were passable but not very inspiring and small portions for the amount of money . Will not recommend as not impressed.... better brunch places to be found.
It was my boyfriends birthday celebration and everything was perfect! The service was wonderful and the food was out of this world
Dinner was good. Just good. I think what made me choose this restaurant was the “locally sourced” reference on the website. That said... nope. The pasta in the squid ink pasta dish was good but didn’t have the distinctive squid ink flavor. Clams and mussels were good. Calamari was chewy and shrimp were definitely frozen and not locally sourced. All in all it was a good meal .... just not sure I’d rush back. There’s better options in nyc for that price.
Thalia is one of my "go to" places. Always good, always consistent.
The hostess was useless and several guests asked different people to restock the toilet paper for multiple restroom stalls (no one did for over 20 minutes). The bartender was super sweet and attentive, however, and more than made up for the shortcomings of his colleagues.
Our service was very slow despite the restaurant being no where near full. My husband sat there for quite some time with an empty drink; by the time the server came over, we were ready for our check. It was also quite loud. The food was fine, but overpriced for what you get.
Were happy with the service and location, but the food was way over-priced, especially for the small portions. The food quality as fine, but nothing memorable. Overall, it was a so-so dining experience that left a major dent in our pocket even after splitting an entree.

A short walk to the theater District., a perfect midtown location. Diverse menu of neat, seafood, sushi and veggie options.
We got seated at 6:00pm and told the waiter we needed to leave at 7:00pm. He said, then you can't order anything hot; the kitchen too busy. That seems nuts to me that I can't order and eat anything that's hot in an hour. Felt extremely rushed out the door.
The menu changed from a few weeks ago & it was not as good as the previous menu. On the previous menu they had large salads with chicken. The new menu had fewer selections. The waiter was slow and did not even take a drink order or ask if we wanted dessert.
