The staff were very attentive and we didn't have to wait long to be served. The food was cooked well but didn't have the wow factor. The fish cakes were disappointing but the spare ribs were great.

It was okay. I probably expected more as per previous feedback. I ordered the pad see ew but I didn’t find it as great as other thai restaurants I been to. It’s too cozy. But overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

The menu online is different to the menu at the restaurant (needs updating). I was disappointed as I had been looking forward to the mains that I saw online but they told me in the restaurant that they don't do it anymore. My beef green curry was not as hot as it should be, lacking in chilli and the beef was quite tough. Looks like the chef is serving for the western palate then authentic Thai food. Thai terre has changed owners by the looks of it,unfortunately I won't be going back.

Authentic Thai food, lovely staff, quiet family type restaurant overlooking the green in the historic village of East Dean. It's my local Thai restaurant and each time I eat here I'm transported back to the wonderful times I've spent in Thailand. If you're looking for great food, attentive staff and a lovely setting, look no further.
