In the past this food has been ok, this visit was so disappointing, the Pad Thai was slimy and lacking in flavour well below average, the steamed sea base had an unpleasant sour vinegar taste, sadly following this experience we would not rush back to this restaurant, the food did not reflect the price charged.

Amazing ambiance, feels cozy and authentic. Food was not great though. Appetizers were pretty good, but then mains were subpar. Almost like they had the meat precooked and just heated up some sauce and mixed it all together. Did not taste fresh.

As ever a very nice meal and the food was in the main fabulous! One small point being the over zealous table clearing and general feeling of being hurried! The waiting team need to slow down a little and allow diners to be more relaxed (and not feel like there is another sitting to be achieved!)

The service was very good, personal and friendly, much better than I remember from before. There didn’t seem to be many people in the restaurant- it was a Wednesday evening and quite early so that may have been the reason. The starters were not as good as I remember with the corn cakes tasting tough and they looked a bit grey and unappetising. The main course was a lot better but overall everything was not as well presented as the it used to be. I was left a bit underwhelmed.

We booked a table for 17.30pm for pre theatre. The food and service was excellent and the bill confirmed good value. By the time we left at 7.15pm the place was buzzing with happy diners.

The food was good but the evening was uncomfortable given there was 5 of us squeezed onto a table for 4. Not enough space for all our plates, glasses, bottles, cutlery, or our own selves to get some movement in to actually eat. When we asked for an extra table they said they didn’t have one and we’re fully booked. How selfish for a business to make their customers sit in such a tight space just so they can get more business in. Not the kind of service I’m used to when dining out.

I wanted to give Thai Square 5 starts for food quality because the food was outstanding, very delicious and good quality with great value for money. Best Thai we had outside Thailand. What took away from my experience is something not many people will get affected by this, but only the ones who will sit next to the Moss decoration on the walls. It ruined my clothes, it got stuck on the entire side of my jumper that the only way is to pull the moss out which led to the threading being pulled out as well. I urge the management to rethink this before more people start complaining. I was really upset by this as it was my favorite jumper and the staff were helpless. Do Not Sit Next to the MOSS.

Service as good as ever. But food quality has definitely declined. Firstly it arrived too quickly to be really freshly cooked and the rice was cold. The tamarind duck which used to be my favourite - is now served on the bone so the sauce didn’t permeate the dish as it did when the dish was served differently. So overall had less sauce and much less flavour. Jasmine and coconut sorbet however was delicious and totally different from anything I’d had before. Think I will just go to the Giggling Squid next door next time.

We ate in an empty room on the side as the request of my husband because of covid so no atmosphere at all. Would have been better if everyone had been spread out over the two rooms rather than putting everyone else in one room. Rice was stodgy and my Thai chicken curry mediocre. Two courses and we were in and out within an hour. Service was very good though.

Food was fantastic! We had chicken pad thai, papaya salad, satay, green curry. Place was perfect for the meal. Staff were accomodating and checked us if we need anything. Sound was ok enough for us to hear each other.
